I just completed the 4 day Level 1&2 photography course that my wife bought me for Christmas and cannot recommend it enough.
I had zero knowledge of how my camera worked, but the others on the course had a fair bit more, and all of us felt we learned loads.
The pace of the course worked really well for us all and the tutor (Marian) was excellent.
My goal was to gain an understanding of how to use my camera and it far exceeded that. I now feel confident that I will take my camera out with me a lot and will have a good idea of how to get the best photos I can. I might well do another of theirs courses.
Really very happy with the whole experience.
Thanks Marian & LSOP

I took a full time professional photography course at LSP and I believe I made the right decision honestly. All the teachers at LSP are super helpful and supportive. Assignments are being given at the end of every workshop which makes the whole process quite interesting. The first two workshops(basic of photography) were helpful in understanding the camera functions from the scratch. However, I would suggest to go for more number of classes ( or full course) in order to understand the camera better ( with practise) with each workshop. Street photography and food/product photography workshops were the ones I liked the most. The study material and slides provided are quite helpful. It has been exciting journey to complete the course at LSP ( including a certificate after completion).

I completed the flexible Diploma and photoshop course and I thoroughly enjoyed all the workshops. I’m so glad I chose LSP for developing my photography— I learned an incredible amount in such a short period of time. I’ve taken some courses with other schools, but LSP has been the best by far!
All the tutors at LSP are fantastic, but I feel I should give a special shoutout to Marian Alonso as she taught me for most of the workshops. She was enthusiastic and supportive on all courses, she put in extra time, and her highly practical teaching style had students constantly practicing and rapidly cementing some of the more difficult concepts.
LSP has given me a lot more confidence going forward in my photographic journey and I cannot recommend them enough!

I attended the LSP Portrait Course led by Marian Alonso. I cannot recommend the London School of Photography and Marian highly enough. The course content was excellent and helped by learn new skills and hone my existing ability. There was a great mix of theory with plenty of practical exercises. Marian was friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and so helpful - giving sound practical feedback throughout. My top tip will be to ensure that attendees focus on the course fully, there are evening assignments that you are required to undertake outside of classroom hours. I will be back.

Fantastic place! LSP offers a great range of courses all taught by industry professionals. Recommended for anyone, from those wanting to start learning photography to people looking for training in a specific area. It's also based in a central location with good transport links, and set in a lovely London Square. What's not to love?

I just completed the level 1 photography course at the LSP. It was fantastic. Just the right level of information for a beginner. A good blend of theory and practical assignments. The class size was small enough that I felt like I was given enough attention and support. Giovanni was a fantastic teacher - a huge amount of knowledge and very patient with each of his students. His passion for photography also really came through which was very motivating for a student. Highly recommend it.

I can not tell you how invaluable my experience at the London School of Photography has been. By the end of the course I had gained confidence in my camera work and style as well as providing students with an insight to the different paths available in photography. The Course Director, Giovanni is passionate about the subject and totally committed - you could sense this from the start. The tutors went out their way to give the best possible experience and it is greatly valued. I would highly recommend the course to anyone thinking of doing it.

I took the beginners workshop and it was definitively a great experience! I wanted to learn more about my camera and the workshop was very effective for my objective. The course was well-structured, with the right mix of technical basics and practical assignments. Giovanni has been incredible in teaching and communicate his passion to us, absolutely inspiring! Another important point: Giovanni gave us a lot of tips, like documentaries to watch, where to look in case interested in upgrading camera/lenses, where to go to practice specific techniques. This provides a lot of materials for thoughts/exercise after the course. I will for sure come back for the next course!!!

I've just completed the 4 day beginners workshop and now actually understand all the controls and settings on my camera. The technicalities were explained in an easily understandable way. Small classes ensures everyone gets the advice and help they need. Time in the classroom is followed immediately with practical assignments out on the streets nearby, with time to review and discuss the images taken on return to the classroom. I recommend LSP to anyone wanting to get to grips with using their camera.

I took the Level 1 course with photographer Diogo. The course was so enjoyable and he made the whole experience great. By the second day I was shooting in manual mode and was much more confident with my camera. I enjoyed it so much I booked myself onto the Level 2 course a few weeks later.
If you enjoy photography, I highly recommend the second course as it focused more on pictures, use of light, colour and composition.

I have just finished LEVEL 2 PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP and I'm so happy with it! I did have knowledge about basic functions already but still this course did definitely bring me to the next level where I finally managed to get full control over my camera. I'm also much more aware about what the photography is and about how to start being more creative and reflective before pressing the shutter. I did love the fact that there was a chance to get pictures during the course and get them analysed then, which make me now be more critical with my work and so make me achieve better results. Thanks Diogo! It was really worthy experience!
A. K.
I did the Level 1 Photography Workshop. Diogo, the tutor, was very friendly and helpful. The course was excellent for a complete beginner in order to learn how to use a dslr camera on manual mode. The course contents was a good mix of theory and practise.
R. C.
I did Digital Photography, beginner and intermediate course and absolutely loved it. After using auto mode all my life, now I feel like a pro already. I have been taking my photos just on manual since my course and I can see the huge difference in my photos. Andrea as a tutor was great, so helpful and thorough in his knowledge. Got to meet such lovely people from all round the world. I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn and improve on their photography skills.
Now I am going back for 4 days of Photoshop course.
A big Thank You to you all, specially to Andrea who taught me see the world creatively.
Love and best wishes.

The level 1 course here is just brilliant. It is very thorough and covers all the technical aspects of DSLR photography. Despite conveying a lot of information, it does so in a way that is very easy to understand, with practical exercises to help you put theory into practice. My tutor (Diogo) was fantastic - he was enthusiastic, clear in his explanations and gave each student individualised attention. I would highly recommend this course to those who are completely new to photography and those who know a bit but want to solidify their understanding.
P. W.
I have attended and completed the 4 day level 1 and 2 workshops an Lightroom essential training workshop and would recommend them both.
Previously I had only shot in either full auto or aperture priority mode on my camera and, following the level one and two workshops, I now only shoot in manual mode and feel I have moved beyond worrying about the co trolls of the camera and focus instead on composing and capturing the image. Aldo and Diogo were both good at instructing with a lot of knowledge about the subject and things were explained in a clear way with enough time given to each topic area. At the conclusion of the course both offered their e-mails for follow up support should there be any issues.
The Lightroom essential workshop was delivered by Gio to a high standard. There was a lady on the course who was not the most computer literate person I have met and he remained patient and explained things in a way that everyone could understand as well as providing tips on the best way to use different tools and on his workflow.
I enjoyed my time at LSP, would recommend it to anybody looking for photography training, and hope to attend a further workshop once I have honed my skills.

I did the week long Stage 1 and Stage 2 course. I found the course excellent, and learnt a huge amount. I had never used a manual SLR camera and came away with good understanding and lots of tips too on taking good photos. Andrea was a great tutor. He was knowledgeable, patient and motivating. I am inspired and cannot believe how already my photos are dramatically better....

I attended LEVEL 1 on May 16-17 and really enjoyed the experience. It is the perfect course if like me you own a camera ( with a manual ) that is capable of great things, but you don't know how to operate it yet. Whilst you get to understand some theory, the course is resolutely hands on. And the course tutor helps you find, or checks that you've found, each new function/feature he describes. You then experiment taking photographs so that you can plainly see how different camera functions work. Most of my class were already talking about which course they wanted to do next !

The interesting back stories about famous pictures & the discussions on different styles of unconventional Photographers has increased my keenness in observing more. The amount of in-depth information, references and consequences of the technicalities as well as the emotions of Photography really made the course worth. It was Fun & Informative, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wasn't expecting too much out of it but the Course really helped me know, what I know and I hope that it'll reflect soon in my Photography. I genuinely loved the 4 days and would someday like to do the Professional course too at LSP.
S. O.
I completed the six month part time professional course. The course was a very positive developmental experience for a keen amateur such as myself, with a particular interest in documentary and street photography. The LSP instructors helped me to develop a better understanding of the technical side of photography, and to nurture a more critical eye through the study of leading photographers past and present.
The School is a very friendly, supportive environment where tutors are on first name terms with students. To my knowledge, LSP does not provide formal qualifications as some others in London offer, but my personal preference was to prioritise small group teaching (classes were typically 5-7 students) over a recognised qualification, and to learn from working photographers who know the realities of the business.
The range of instructors used by the school is generally a good thing, drawing in a variety of different professional backgrounds and specialisms. Teaching styles do vary among the trainers, with the result that I felt less engaged by some of the teaching modules than others, but the overall experience was immensely positive. The course undoubtedly helped me to substantially raise the quality of my work, and to begin developing a more defined photographic style.
I am very happy to recommend LSP to others seeking to improve their photography.

I have just completed the foundation of photography course at LSP. This course was a fantastic introduction to photography and has given me the knowledge and tools to confidently take professional photos. The tutor Giovanni was a great teacher, very patient and good with explaining. I can't wait for the next part of the course with LSP.

I have attended the Level 1 course (4 days evening course) last week and I really enjoyed it.
I strongly recommend this course to everyone is approaching photography as a beginner and wants to understand how pictures can change and improve with a basic but proper knowledge.
Our tutor, Aldo, was very friendly, knowledgable, and always ready to answer our questions.
I will surely attend level 2.
I. S.
Just completed Level 1 workshop over the weekend, it was great experience. At first I was not sure between level 1 and 2 but I am glad I've started from the level one. I love photography but never actually learnt much about it, love taking any sort of photos, my first dslr Canon 1100 was great and easy to use but then I've upgraded to Mark II and it felt the right time to do the course. Nando was our instructor, very knowledgable in the field, very friendly attentive, helpful and patient, encourages any type of questions and always open to help and advise. Now I am booking Level 2 course too, it was inspiring, fun course, that helped me to learn about my new camera and about photography and various styles and basics that I didn't know. Definitely if you are considering about the course go ahead and do it, you'll love it!
A. L.
Lovely week-end at LSP with Nando!
I just finished the level 1 workshop! It is perfect for beginners! I'm very happy to finally be able to use my camera in full manual mode!
I was expecting more time for practice, but it worked very well like that! I didn't know all the possibilities that I have with my camera, so it was very good to get all the technical details (ISO, shutter speed, aperture, lens size, light meter and so on), with plenty of examples!
Thanks again for the great week-end and the perfect training!
Only one think which could have been better, get a printout of the slides at the beginning of the training!

London School of Photography truly is the place to go if you want to learn anything, photography related. I recently purchased a camera for myself and wanted to make the most of it and immerse myself in the world of photography, I signed up for the 4 day course, in which I had Aldo for level one and Diogo for level two. Both Aldo and Diogo superceded my expectations, they were so informative, passionate, and their lessons were enjoyable. Any questions I had were all answered extremely well with details and examples. The courses all in all were well structured and we'll executed with theory based learning and then practical tasks that let us practice the skills that we had just learnt about.
After the four day course, I also did the lightroom essentials course with Giovanni. And I must say 'wow' he taught us how to use the majority of the software in two days. This wasn't just him saying this does this and that does that, it was him explaining when, how and what to use at every stage. He also talked us through organisation and his workflow, which were all very helpful.
Overall, any of these courses are going to help you in some way or form with your photography, so I do recommend them and cannot fault them at all. I will be going back for the photojournalism-street photography and portraiture courses.

I followed the first two couses on basics, with Debbie and Diogo. Both teachers have been great. Competent and passionate. It has been definitely useful to learn everything about my camera and more than enough to become a good beginner. The courses are not crowded at all therefore are equivalent to take private lessons. The right mix of theory and practice push you at higher level. I am very satisfied
I. D.
I have just completed the weekend Level 1 course and it was excellent! My thanks to Debbie who delivered a well-paced, well-communicated course which was both fun and interesting. In just a weekend I have evolved from a 'everything on automatic' photographer to a confident 'manual settings' photographer. Feels great!!
I have now signed up for the level 2 course and cant wait!

I really enjoy attending the course with Diogo
Great course, i took level 1
Taught in a very easy to understand and apply approach. Definitely recommend to anyone just getting into photography and wanting to learn how to take the best possible pictures .

I have just completed the Professional Photography course at the London School of Photography and would highly recommend it to all serious and enthusiastic amateurs who are looking to step up to professional level.
The course is well structured, comprehensive and delivers exactly what it says it will. It goes without saying that the more you engage, practice and apply yourself to the learning, which is quite intense as you would expect at this level, the more you feel your skills and knowledge developing. Interaction with the tutors is encouraged and they are all open to answering questions and requests for help - they are also very generous in sharing expertise. In particular, Giovanni Barsanti who is LSP's Director of Training, is an excellent instructor whose wealth of knowledge and experience - both as a photographer and in post production - is invaluable, as are his patience, skill and sense of humour. The content of the course is very much geared to practical learning, with lots of shooting in some modules and then theory and in-studio practice in others - a good mix of hands-on and technical content as well. There is plenty of scope to share your work and receive constructive feedback, which provides a useful introduction to the scrutiny that your images will be subjected to when operating in what is a competitive marketplace or when working for a client.
The location of the School is central and easy to get to on public transport and the premises are clean, modern and well looked after. And with weekday, evening and weekend options, timetables are flexible and should accommodate most needs. An all-round excellent investment!

Great experience! I had Diogo as my teacher for Level 2 - he was super patient, knowledgeable and happy to share form personal experience. If you´re interested in up-skilling your photography skills, I definitely recommend the courses here (this was my second one).

I recently completed the level 1 intro to photography with Giovanni. The 2 day course was personable and informative. Gio worked with everyone’s equipment and tailored his tuition depending on the gear we had. A nice mix of theory and practical based assignments. It was exactly what I wanted, which was a basic introduction into manual use of a DSLR camera, and gives me the foundations to go on and practice, with the intention to attend further courses in the future.
Thanks Gio!
S. N.
Attended both the beginners and intermediate photography courses in succession and will never view the world quite the same again. I know understand how to operate the camera, the art of taking a good photo, (auto's a thing of the past, manual only now) and a genuine understanding of the many photographic opportunities around us. Big thanks to Nando our tutor who both taught and inspired us throughout the course. Would recommend to anyone looking to improve their photo skills.

I have recently attended and completed the 4 days Food & Product Photography course. If you are interested in learning secrets and techniques behind the food/product photography, this course is simply what you are looking for. It has been such a complete and professional workshop. The restricted number of attendees allows you to be really a part of the process of creation of the scene, preparation of the equipment, composing of the photographs. I have seen and learnt many techniques and had the opportunity to ask any time I needed a further explanations. I highly recommend this workshop. Thank you LSP.

I attended a Lightroom course this past weekend and I am very happy about it. It's always been quite difficult for me to understand certain passages of this program but our teacher Diogo was very clear, knowledgeable and also a cheerful one to learn from. Throughout the course he was encouraging and happy to help making sure we would all understand. I need a lot of practice still, but I certainly feel that I have improved my understanding and, more importantly, I feel that I want to learn more and more! Thank you! Obrigada! :)

LSP IS PHENOMENAL!! I took the one week long portrait photography class this past June 2018 and absolutely fell in love with the course layout and the fantastic information. Gio was so knowledgeable and kind, and as a young portrait photographer I felt that i could ask any question at all without fear of judgement. Also, as someone traveling from Los Angeles for the course, I felt extremely welcome in the learning space. THANK YOU for such a great experience, I have learned so much!!!
I. P.
Julia is an amazing tutor, the lectures are concise and easy to follow. There are lots of practical elements to the workshop as well. I have learnt so much even within this short period of time!
O. W.
Really good course. Not only did it improve my photography but open my eyes to different areas of photography and showed me what type of photographer I wanted to become. Really passionate and knowledgable teachers who provided grate feedback and explained everything well. I found this course exceptionally helpful in getting to understand photography as an industry, and felt comfortable when I walked away from the course to do my first payed photoshoot!
Thanks!!

London School of Photography is one of the best place whether you are a beginner or a professional who wants to upgrade your skill. I have been a photographer for 7 years and yet i still learn a lot from the amazing teachers who explains everything very clearly and logically. They have amazing understanding of the basic of photography, the law of physics which helps a lot with the lighting as well as the challenges photographers will face in the workplace beause they are also professional photographers. I would recommend LSP for eveyone.
F. M.
I have completed 2 courses with LSP (Level 1 and 2) and have absolutely loved both. I have learnt so much and have increased my skills and confidence with the camera. The teachers are so knowledgeable, patient and keen to share their experience and thoughts making LSP a fantastic place to learn and grow. I would not hesitate to recommend LSP to anyone and I'll be heading back for the Creative Photography course later in the year.
Thank you to LSP for taking so much care and providing such a wonderful place to learn.
C. W.
I did the full time program and it was excellent. I found kind teachers, open and very professional. The school was also very flexible in case I needed to change a date of a course, no problem! The teachers are all very kind to help you even when you finished their course! At the end of the course my way to look at things changed,I learned a lot and my passion for photography increased. I am very thankful for this gentle and inspiring environment, for the great people I could meet there, from all over the world.
Thanks LSP, thanks Antonio for having created this nice container of creative people!!!
D. F.
I have really enjoyed doing Levels 1 & 2 and the Portrait course. I have learnt so much from all three courses. The course tutors covered everything you needed to know and much more. They took time to fully explain the finer technical points so that you properly understood rather than getting lost.
Highly recommended. Many thanks!
B. H.
I did a full time course at LSP and it was fabulous! I enjoyed every minute of it! I would recommend to everyone who would like to improve and gain professional knowledge of making great pictures and to be a real photographer!.
At full time course you can try yourself in many different types of photography and you can see different aspects of it, so at the end of the course you can find your style fitting your skills and profile! and all this you can achieve with professional support and guidance from fantastic teachers! They were all well prepared and there were no questions without answers! Dear Debbie, Kit, Jo, Iringo, Holger and Luciana thank you for your help, support and constructive feedback, you really made me feel that I am on the right way to be a professional photographer! Thank you.

I had the pleasure to attend 3 courses at this school and I was always very satisfied with the knowledge, expertise, facilities and material provided by all teachers.
Above all Stefan Lacandler stands out. I was in awe from the beginning till the end: his way of teaching is beyond thorough, is experience vast on every photography field and his passion is contagious.
T. K. V. A.
London School of Photography and the amazing Stefan Lacandler IG @stefanlacandler took me from zero to a Hundred in 4 days. Don't worry you don't need experience , you'll get that on your outdoor exercise. Great tutoring from a highly experienced career Photographer .
I will recommend LSP any day without a doubt. PS follow me too !! IG @kojovandie

Having spent my last two weekends with LSP on their Level 1 and 2 courses I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the courses offered here to anyone looking to dive into digital photography and give themselves the chance truly understand what their DSLR can do. It'll refresh and re-invigorate anyone's love of photography but particularly those looking for a relaxed, friendly but undeniably well informed chance to learn and experiment with their camera.

I got in touch with LSP because I wanted some help with jewellery photography which (I think) is a really difficult and niche area. I booked one to one sessions with Giovanni who was a mine of information. He came across as an experienced professional taking me through professional techniques and processes and making it all appear totally accessible. Gio is also a specialist in post-production - that was very helpful too. My pictures are actually really good now, and getting better all the time!
I also did a week's course at LSP, again with Gio, in a group dealing with portrait photography. It was a really well constructed course but Gio shaped it around the requirements of the group, technical explanations, lots of off-the-cuff bits of valuable information, useful assignments. Being in a group meant swapping ideas and talking about each other's work. Gio is a supportive, enthusiastic and encouraging tutor.
I got a lot out of my courses at LSP - I'd recommend it to anybody who takes photography seriously. The school is central and easy to get to, friendly and well organised.
P. R.
I did the beginner's course at LSP about 5 years ago - which really opened up my photography world and got me off the auto setting!
I returned a couple of weeks ago for the week long portrait course - and my big learning this time was a removal of my 'flash phobia'. It was a pleasant surprise that we spent quite a lot of time on flash and really explored the ETTL and manual options, culminating in the Friday assignment with a model on location. It was really good that we were made to organise and run this whole shoot ourselves, just as we would have to do in the real world. I got some wonderful shots using the techniques I'd learned.
The new LSP location in Hatton Garden is great - the adjacent Leather Lane is full of food carts offering some great lunch options - and potential photos.
My couple of suggestions to make the course even better would be:
1. A deeper look a the techniques of more portrait photographers - maybe picking out one subject and seeing how different photographers had approached it with different techniques.
2. The Tuesday afternoon trip to the National Portrait Gallery was interesting preparation for the Wednesday self-portrait assignment, but as all their pictures can now be viewed online - maybe we could have done this virtually and devoted the time to learning some more techniques? Just a thought...
Many thanks,
Peter

I attended a level 1 workshop at the London School of photography the end of April and I found the teacher Diogo Duarte very knowledgeable. Everything that was on the website was covered; shame about the weather not being on our side as it was pretty chilly that weekend but I would recommend it if you want to know a bit more about how to use your camera and how to take pictures in manual mode. I have been practising.
C. L.
I loved the entire 2 months course at LSP. The teachers are professional and make everyone feel comfortable. I learned a lot especially with Giovanni and Stephan. I loved their class. In class you can see their attention to the details that makes the difference between a good photo and a memorable one.
Thanks guys!
T. K.
I did the 4 day course level 1 & 2 and I loved it. Debby was an amazing teacher and we finished the course knowing so much more about our cameras, photography, arrangement and lot of different topics. I would highly recommend the course and would love to come back to do more. Thanks again Debby!
D. P. G.
The Weekend Creative Photography course was superb. To start Holger was stimulating, knowledgable and an excellent tutor for the two days. Technically the course was easily at my knowledge level but Holger happily answered questions from those on the course not at my level of technical understanding. The tasks were fun as well creative, they pushed me in directions I hadn't felt confident to try before. We were then given very constructive feedback and comments about the end results. In summary the course set me free from my caution and has really fired my enthusiasm; it was worth every penny spent. One piece of feedback, students should be warned that there is inevitably a lot of walking on the two days and people with physical disabilities would have some difficulties undertaken the course.Thank you

Having completed Level 1 & 2 I would certainly recommend LSP for excellent teaching - after Level 1 I felt like I had a new camera. The teachers are really knowledgeable, inspiring and enthusiastic, the small groups mean you get real value for money and the teaching material is clear and very useful both during and after courses. Thanks LSP.
M. M.
I have now completed photography 1 and 2 and loved it. The teachers are so welcoming and knowledgeable. The courses have great content with a good combination of in class lectures and shooting sessions for practice. Thank you Debbie and Holger!
A. G.
I really enjoyed this school. I did full time course and this gave me the possibility to figure it out which one was my right way in photography, the one which suits me more. Every classes gave me some necessary knowledge and tips, useful to complete the profile of a photographer who knows what he is talking about.
This school gave me the possibility to feel that I am a photographer.
Toutors are something of special !
The passion they have to teach photography is amazing!
I wouldn't be able to say who has been the best for me. All of them gave me some special touch. They believe in every single student.
The small groups of people in each class make everything more friendly and confortable giving the possibility to gain new relationship.
The only other thing to say is that I was really sad my last day thinking that this amazing experience was finished!
thank you Lsp

I don't like London School Of Photography, I love it!!!!!!
If you are an aspiring Photographer or have love for the Arts, LSP is the place to be.
They are nice people who are willing to teach and share their knowledge and skill.
I had fun and discovered a lot while I was there.

I attended the level 1 course on 28/04/2018. Had a very good experience, trainer was very knowledgeable, location and training venue were nice and clean. 100% recommend London School of Photography.
S. D.
Diogo was a fantastic teacher and I'd highly recommend the level 1 course. It was so useful before going on holiday. Diogo was a patient and fun teacher. There was a really good balance between theory and practice. Thanks so much, look forward to level 2!
E. C.
I attended part 1 of the beginners course a few weeks ago and was very impressed by Diogo’s way of teaching. It was the right balance of classroom theory and then practical photography in the park nearby. I actually think it’s has ‘clicked’ in my head and it’s with thanks to Diogo.
B. N.
I did the 4 day Beginners class with the wonderful Diogo Duarte. Such an eye opening course. I learnt so much. Diogo was wonderful to work with and is VERY talented photographer!
C. M.
I had an excellent time at LSP. The location was very easy to get to off Holborn Circus and the office was clean and modern. Our instructor always had biscuits and we had access to tea and water which was very nice.
The course was broken down into 4 days of lecture and hands on experience. We built on our skills everyday, and had a lot of time to practice, both in the classroom and at amazing locations like St. Pauls, The Barbican, the British Museum and Covent Garden. The assignments were fun, almost like a scavenger hunt at times.
My classmates were exceedingly friendly and diverse. We had students from the North of England, Surrey, Norway, Israel, Russia and America. With an Irish and Italian teacher, the entire experience was very multicultural and exciting.
Å. O. A.
My wife and I did the 4 Days Photography Course at LSP the 1.-5. of july. The school is just amazing, excellent teachers, really nice classrooms, perfect location, all in all just flawless in all aspects. We came all the way from Norway, just for the course and we really enjoyed it. We have already booked our next courses with LSP and will be coming back several times. This is excellent value for money! I recommend London School of Photograpy to everyone I see. It's a gem, even in international standard, well worth the travel.
After the first course, we both will use LSP for a "full education" of all courses.
For you who as ourselves travel from abroad, the schedule makes it possible to combine day-courses and evening-courses on same dates.
As for hotels near for those who need a place to stay, I do recommend Z hotel Soho. It's a 5 minute walk from school and really a perfect spot. Not the cheapest you can find, but also WELL worth the money. Nice, new, tidy and very personal.
The combination for the school and the hotel made our stay in London perfect. We will be back for more courses at LSP and stay at the same hotel.
Thank you London School of photography! We are coming back soon!
Best wishes, Aasmund and Tara Aanestad-Bakke.

Excellent week-long workshop. Giovanni was enthusiastic, patient and a good teacher. We covered many of the technical fundamentals as well as composition & messaging with plenty of examples and assignments to practice what we learnt. Highly recommended. Thanks, Giovanni!

I just recently did the Workshop 1 course and thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt lots of useful new things, along with learning what I was doing wrong before.
The location, training material and our instructor Andrea were all excellent. I met some new contacts and I hope to do the Workshop 2 very soon.

I highly recommend London School of Photogaphy. I did the full time course and I met great teachers. In 7 weeks you get a lot of knowledge and you are able if you want to get started your career in photography.

The people from LSP make you feel at home right away and are well-versed in their practice. The small group size is conducive to a constructive atmosphere and means that you get a chance to see others' work and share your own. There is a mix of students from the area as well as students traveling internationally (I live in Seattle and took this course as part of a summer vacation) and a range of ages. You are welcomed regardless of your background or goals with photography.
If you are looking for places to stay in the area, I had a good experience with the Youth Hostel on Central. Because it's a hostel, you obviously don't get the privacy that you would with a hotel, but the staff and guests alike were friendly and helpful.

I learnt a lot during my Level 1 workshop with Nando. It was very well structured, lots of topics covered, and at the same time fun and meaningful. I will strongly recommend this course to anyone thinking of getting started with photography or people like me who had been taking pictures for ages intuitively. I look forward to taking mroe coruses with LSP.Regards, cashmira

Its a nice course if you are planing to increase your knowledge about photography, or getting started with it. The best in this course is the practical part when you have to go on the street and try what you learned. If you hav some basic knowledge, or you are an absolute beginer this course is good for you.
