I took an online course with Martina as the tutor. My experience with her couldn't have been better. In spite of the challenges that learning online has, the lessons with Martina were great and actually felt like being in a classroom. Martina is a very competent tutor, throughout the course she was dedicated and always tried to make lessons fun and according to our interests. 100% recommended.

Every lesson is interactive, filled with conversation and an excellent focus on grammar. Federica had us speaking Italian within the first few minutes of our first class. I have really enjoyed my lessons with Eleanora. She is an excellent teacher and I find her to be kind, patient and thorough. We have covered a lot during my classes and the structure is methodical and detailed, without ever feeling overwhelming. My experience has been with Federica over three courses, the last one just finished. In my opinion the classes are very well structured, covering in every lesson a bit of everything (grammar, chat and listening). Those three always get well connected through the class and subsequent days which definitely helps to remind us all the language that we have learned and establish the links to improve our communication. Lately we have been having online classes due to the lock down. Federica restructured the classes to adapt to the online sessions and I am still enjoying them. In my view the classes are still very dynamic and interesting, the 90 mins go very fast and I think I learn a lot every day. I enjoy the fact that you encourage us to interact and intervene a lot. Another very good point is that the classes are organised for a reduced number of people which is brilliant as we all have the opportunity to talk quite a lot :)

I can't recommend Federica and Of Course, Italian enough for their professional, applicable and extremely thorough Italian lessons. Federica comes to my house once a week and together we step through grammar, language guidelines and vocabulary by speaking in Italian, listening in Italian and completing exercises that make the language relevant and memorable. Federica is a great teacher. I am halfway through the beginner course and every lesson has been stimulating, engaging and challenging whilst also being fun! I had already studied some Italian but decided to start again, as I had forgotten some of it due to the fact that I wasn't pactising the language. I found Federica on Google and it seemed the best option for me, so I decided to give it a try. I have to say that I am really pleased with my choice. I feel that my Italian is improving and that if I keep having these lessons, one day I can be really good at it. Federica has the sensibility to know what are the aspects that I need to improve and then we focus on that. And things that once seemed a bit hard to understand, are now clear for me. Federica is a very experienced, talented and lively teacher that has always supported me throughout my learning experience and has given me the strength and motivation to continue studying the language. The classes are perfectly organised to include a variation of speaking, writing and listening exercises that are very interactive, enjoyable and easy to grasp quickly. I am currently undertaking 1-1 lessons with flexible timings and can easily be arranged or amended. She does a great job tailoring the lessons that work best for the student. I've been learning Italian with Federica for a few months now and my language has improved a lot in that time. Her lesson planning is creative with different things like card games, videos, audio and traditional exercise books. Her teaching method is very effective at getting speaking skills into your head and learn authentic Italian. The video and audio exercises are focused on listening and understanding real Italian conversations rather than flat dialogue of more traditional methods. She is very good at focusing on your weak points for improvement which, provides a strong basis for jumping to more advanced skills later on. Highly recommended!

My wife and I have been taking classes with Federica from 'Of Course Italian' since returning from Italy frustrated that we couldn't communicate with people. We started lessons at different levels of ability, but she has managed to balance the level of the lessons between the two of us expertly. I have been taking lessons with Federica for a few months now and could not be happier! Her teaching method is highly effective and fun at the same time. I do not have to drag myself to classes! We have one-on-two lessons in a relaxed environment (I take the classes with a friend of mine). The most impressive part of her teaching is her ability to feel the level of the student and improvise the lesson accordingly. She pushes us when we are having a good day, and does extra revision on a slow day. She clearly takes time to prepare the lesson, so each lesson is filled with little card games, exercises, grammar, listening to conversations on her tablet, watching little clips and doing lots and lots of talking. Its so interactive that the time flies by. I had forgotten how much fun it is to learn new things. Grazie Federica!

Of Course Italian is great! Learning a new language is always difficult however my tutor, Laura, is amazing. She make the lessons fun and interactive, and is very patient with me when I struggle with certain parts. I booked a block of 10 lessons of one per week, which I found really helpful as you need to keep at it. And to make it even better, Laura comes to my office which allows me to focus on my day and my lesson in the evening. Looking forward to starting my next block of 10 lessons! I would highly recommend Of Course Italian.

I have planned on going to Rome on my 2014 summer vacation to learn Italian. But, I had to come to London for some reason and spend my vacation here. So I started to search for Italian classes in London, and fortunately, I found Federica. I have taken 5 one-to-one classes with her so far and I cannot believe the progress I am making!!. She is REALLY GOOD!. She always makes me feel comfortable to make mistakes and encourages me to do so as well. Her way of teaching is fun and the time passes by so quickly. Frederica is an excellent teacher. In one class per week, I feel I have grown to become a confident 'New Italian Speaker' in a relatively short time. Luca has been by far the best language instructor that I've ever had (and I've had a bunch). He comes prepared. Teaches with a variety of techniques. Great mix of speaking & listening; grammar & vocabulary. Lots of focus on speaking. Understands French as well which is helpful since I also have basic French language skills and often get confused. He's reliable, smart, patient, and kind. Truly my best experience in languages to date.

Fortunately I found Of Course Italian online and have been taking one to one lessons with Frederica. I am extremely happy with Frederica's style of teaching . She very quickly assessed my level and understood what I wanted and planned the lessons accordingly . Frederica uses a variety of materials so all the lessons are interesting . The topics are often relevant to my own interests but also all designed to reinforce learning of a particular topic. My experience with 'of course Italian' was amazing. It didn't feel like a class/lesson at all - more an informal chat with an Italian friend - (a patient Italian friend!) We always met at great locations - with an uncanny proximity to fine Italian coffee - and i found the relaxed, open environment coupled with informal yet instructive teaching methods greatly enhanced my ability to absorb information. I am not a natural polyglot and usually struggle with other languages. I have tried listening to many CD's and DVD's but have found no substitute for a good class. I would recommend 'of course' to anyone - and it doesn't break the bank either. I would say they are 'assolutamente eccellente' - and you don't need a class to work that out!! J.Crawley
