I was new to Pilates and unsure what to expect as I suffer from back problems and was recovering from a 'frozen shoulder'. Han has a great personal approach to all participants and spends time to ensure all movements are correct. Han is very patient and everyone is made to feel very welcome. The classes are relaxed and very friendly. Han starts each class asking how everyone is and if anyone has any particular problems. Han remembers all the issues each person has and adapts movements as appropriate.
I have benefited greatly from the classes and have more flexibility in my shoulders and back than I have had in over a year.
Very happy to recommend Han and her Pilates classes.

I started suffering of back pain and shoulder stiffness a few years ago, due to my office job that kept me sitting down for so many hours. I tried physiotherapy and it would fix the problem only temporarily as soon as the ten sessions finished the pain would come back. I decided that I needed a more permanent solution so I tried Pilates.
Since when I started going to Pilates classes, I starting feeling the benefits almost immediately. I do not get back/shoulders pains anymore, and I feel much healthier as my body is benefiting from the exercise as well. Han is a great teacher, very passionate about what she does. She takes the time to explain each exercise to enable people to perform it correctly and she will give attention to each individual, to make sure that you get out of the session as much as possible.
So I would definitely recommend Pilates with Han to all my family, friends and colleagues as she is a great teacher and she has made me feel fit and healthy again!

Having suffered with back problems for several years, I was advised that pilates may help. I've been attending Han's classes since January and have noticed a positive improvement with my back. Han took the time to understand my condition and has tailored some exercises for me. I definitely feel more stable in my core and this is helping with my back.

Han is a fantastic teacher - skilled, understanding, supportive and patient. I started my training to become a certified Pilates instructor this year. After many hours of self practise, I attended Han's class at Perea Clinic in Islington. I have known Han for a while but had not attended her classes - I'm seriously questioning why I left ithe until now! She was great with understanding my various aches and pains, as well as past injuries. The focus on subtle movements and correct form/technique have significantly helped me to improve my own practise, and have helped me to improve my day-to-day posture and body awareness. I took a pilates class to maintain balance and energy now I am oner 70. I as aware that my balance wasn't as good as it had been and I had tension in my shoulder muscles that was very painful at times.
I found that pilates helped me to learn how to use my body more effectively, with better posture. The exercises to stretch my spine in all directions have made a big difference and I have had no further shoulder pain since I started over a year ago. My posture and balance have improved beyond all expectations.
Han's teaching methods have been key to my development and commitment. She describes how the body and the core strength feel inside as she teaches each movement, which feels hard to grasp at first but has been a revelation to me.
I have had other teachers of pilates but they don't teach the detail of what the body is doing and how it feels inside each movement. I keep Han's guidance and explanation in my head to help me get it right and know when I am not quite right.
I intend to stay with pilates because it has made such a difference to me and has been liberating for my body. I thoroughly recommend Han as a pilates teacher because she talks us through the movements as well as demonstrating and pays attention to individuals and puts them right when any of us is not quite getting it right. I feel I learn something every lesson, even when I am doing the same movements and exercises.
