Best music school in Islington! Our son took two years of drums lessons with Sebastien at Planet Drums. He became so passionate about it that he set up a rock band in his primary school. Great teachers!

Fantastic music school! I had singing lessons with Katy for 2 years and thoroughly enjoyed them. We went into lockdown during this period and the on-line lessons continued to be great fun, helpful and an amazing learning experience. Katy is extremely professional, friendly, knowledgeable and I loved my lessons with her. Work commitments meant that I had to end my lessons but I would not hesitate to return. The experience has given me a lot to draw on and I have loads of useful exercises and notes to keep and use by myself. I also really enjoyed participating in band practice, giving me the opportunity to sing with other musicians, and singing at the summer concert. Planet Drum is a very welcoming school and my experience was overwhelmingly positive. I highly recommend it!

Planet Drum is a fantastic place to learn and rehearse. The teachers and staff are incredibly friendly and the rooms are equipped with excellent kits. It's reasonably priced and you know you're in good hands with the drum tutors – they are all great drummers and teachers. At the time of writing, I've been going for lessons and practice sessions at Planet Drum for around a year and I love it.

As complete beginner in music I have found Planet Drum to be a great place to learn from the ground up. The facilities are great and the professionalism and enthusiasm of the teachers is constantly evident. The Planet Drum is a wonderfully warm, friendly and inclusive environment to start learn music. The lessons are tailored for the student's individual needs and musical interests and students are able to progress at their own speed. The teaching rooms are very well equipped with high quality musical instruments and have a great vibe. Highly recommended for beginners of all ages.

The Planet Drum school has very friendly, patient and experienced teachers. There are even practice rooms where I can bash the kit as loud as I want! The Crypt is a great place to learn playing the drums and to learn playing with bands.

I have been studying drums and guitar and taking exams at planet drum for 18 months and I love it too. The teachers are both amazing musicians and very friendly. It's a shame there is no parking on the premises, but it's possible to park on Liverpool road.

Had a taster session. Excellent teacher, and the location is great - nice and quiet (yes I know drums are loud but I've been to places where the studio is near tube tracks and every 5 minutes or so there is a loud interruption by the passing trains). Rooms are also clean.
