I've completed 5 levels at this school. Both in person and online. Very happy with the class structure and progression. I've enjoyed the course more and more the higher level I've gotten to as the classes tend to get smaller (some people drop out probably) and there has been more time to generally chat portuguese casually during the class. Been very happy with elisabete as my teacher 🙌🙌

I have taken the European Portuguese beginners courses starting this January, each being the 5x week one ( so 2x a week 2h). I must say those 2h went by so quickly yet I enjoyed every single class. The teaching is done in very fun and interactive way - everyone was engaged and the class size was small enough to get the most out of the teaching. My questions were always answered immediately and I really think I progressed with my Portuguese. I do recommend Portuguese Global!

I have taken a number of courses and private lessons arranged by this school for tow years, progressing my Brazilian Portuguese from Beginners Plus to Advanced. The teaching has been excellent: well planned material, and full of pace; the 2 hour lessons NEVER dragged. The administrative staff have always been willing and helpful to match my language requirements with the correct course and teacher. Learning here continues to be a fruitful and enjoyable experience.

I enrolled on the Brazillian Portuguese for Beginners course, and found it to be well worth the money. Each class is two hours long, breaks down to about £10 per hour, but by the end of each class I felt like I had tangibly learnt loads. The teaching comes thick and fast during the class, but the teacher takes the time to learn about each student and relate the lesson to their personal experiences. The lessons are reinforced with well thought out homework to help solidify the learning. I went from being able to say little more than the odd word, to being able to confidently hold a basic conversation in portuguese by the end of the course. The teaching staff are really great too and very knowledgeable.

I've been going to this school for nearly 3 years and I have recently moved to Portugal. If this doesn't say it all let me explain why I am more than happy to take the time to to write this review. Because the teacher had always taken his time for us. Because he didn't storm off the class when the clock stroke 8:30. Because when I missed a class, I could call him and he would give me a heads up. I'm sure there's many Portuguese classes but here I always knew how personally the teacher took it that we learn the language. This is not just another language course, this is passion about a language in action. This is a course that goes beyond language, it's about the Portuguese culture, history and current topics. Heck the teacher even took us to a Portuguese restaurant. The classes are well balanced between grammar and practice. To me it was important that I can use games and role play scenarios to practice conversations during class and I got this here. Over the years I didn't just bond with the other students but I also found a good friend in the teacher. This review is the least I can do in return for everything I have been given to live a better life. Thank you

I’ve greatly enjoyed two years of lessons at Portuguese Global and can easily recommend it to others. It’s not an easy language to learn but the classes are well paced and enthusiastically taught by diligent, friendly and professional teachers. Someone else here commented that the lessons don’t stop at the assigned end time but when the students naturally want to stop - this has always been my experience. Obrigado Fernando e colegas.

I am extremely pleased with my experience at Portuguese Global. The teachers were all very professional and friendly, and the administrative staff were always ready to help. When I started learning Portuguese, about a year and a half ago, I was a complete beginner and I have now progressed to the advanced level. Plus, the school always came up with tailored solutions whenever needed – e.g. offering me a “Portuguese for Spanish speakers” class at the very beginning; or adapting to the COVID-19 crisis by offering online classes. My teacher Isabela (Brazilian Portuguese) was fantastic and communication with the administration staff has been very professional. I've just finished the Portuguese for Spanish Speakers course (equivalent of Beginner 1 + 2) and was very pleased with the overall experience. The other language schools I found in London don't differenciate between European and Brazilian Portuguese but Portuguese Global do, and specifically offer completely separate courses depending on the region you're interested in. I'm now enrolling on the Elementary 1 for European Portuguese :)
