Francesco is a brilliant makeup professional with a vocation to teach. I had the opportunity to do their Essential Beginners two-day course and learned a lot in a short time. Francesco answered all my questions with the best disposition and knowledge. He was always very aware of the needs of his students. Also, the school is well-located and offers a comfortable environment for learning. I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Perfect! I had a one-to-one „self-make-up“ class with Francesco. It was brilliant and everything that I actually wanted instead of doing a group course. In two hours he showed me how to do a day make-up and an evening make-up including advice about skin care in general. He showed me which products to use, which brushes and tools to use, also which products and colours best compliment my skin tone and texture. I filmed on Francesco’s suggestion everything on my phone because it was a lot of information that would have been difficult to remember. Now I can watch the video and recreate the look. What I really liked is that I learned all about the different products, brushes etc, but also what products and colours I need for my skin. Before doing this one-to-one class it was all a bit too overwhelming when trying to figure it out on my own. Highly recommend! Thank you, Francesco! 💋

I recently completed the 2 week full time Foundation course and WoW what an incredible experience. Francesco is the most generous man, not only with his knowledge but with his heart and soul too. His passion for the industry is evident throughout. The course content is very thorough, the teaching standard exceptional from Francesco and guest tutors Christina and Maria. Small numbers of students in the class enables a lot of one-to-one tuition and time for questions. Having finished the course I now feel part of a larger extended network as Francesco keeps in touch offering the opportunity to get more experience in various other ways. Francesco is the best teacher ever, you can tell he is very experienced and professional. I didn't mind travelling nearly an hour to his studio because it was worth it! He is very passionate on his career and also very patient when he is teaching you. Every week, we were learning different techniques with different make up looks and you get to practice and receive helpful feedback from him. Studio50 is a London makeup school and I completed the part time makeup course from April to May 2018 and I really enjoyed it. Francesco is a very patient teacher who was able to teach me new techniques, tips and tricks when applying makeup. The part time course worked really well for me as I work full time, the day would go so fast because I was just constantly making notes during the morning tutorial and then doing practice in the afternoon, which really is the best way to learn if you are serious about becoming a makeup artist. I enjoyed the course so much I signed up to the 2 day bridal course. Francesco also provides excellent aftercare, helps you with opportunities and takes you on a shopping day to get your kit started. You can't really ask for more than that!

I loved my foundation make up course at Studio 50. It exceeded my expectations, I learned so so much in such a short time and boosted my confidence tremendously. The class is kept small (6 students) and this is brilliant because you get to have lots of attention from Francesco and his team. The studio is gorgeous and filled to the brim with make up heaven. Its also really easy to get to by tube as well which is a plus. The course took place over 5 Saturdays which I looked forward to attending every week. We would get a demo with a model first and then replicate the look on each other. It was just so much fun. We learnt about eveything from colour correction, skin tone enhancement, natural looks, smoky eye look, red lips, runway so much!!! You are encouraged to be creative and Francesco is just such a good soul he is there for you every step of the way. He is very talented, kind and passionate about sharing his knowledge with the class. I would love to take more courses here in the future and have no hesitation in recommending Studio 50.

Hi, I asked Francesco if he could do a tailor made make up course just for me because I want to launch a video blog and would like to look good in my videos and learn how to do a proper make up. Not only Francesco has taught different techniques (natural, built up and smoky) to me but he has always showed me how the make up would have appeared in my video because he also has special lighting and equipment. I took 2 day classes and they were a dream, just what every lady would like to experience once in a lifetime: beautiful make up room , Francesco very patient and very professional and an outstanding make up artist and make up teacher. I learnt a lot in just two days and in order to help me remembering what I learnt, Francesco also shot videos while I was making myself up with his suggestions and corrections since I was a total beginner with many products but without the knowlege of how to use them. Also we went shopping together to Drugstore and with really little money he helped me to find the right products for my colors and my skin, so not only a make up artist and a fantastic teacher but also a personal shopper! I could have not asked more! If I could I would spend every day taking his classes. I am convinced there is nobody in London offering such a complete service at 360 degrees.
