I attended the 10 hour virtual TEFL course from the TEFL Institute. Our teacher was Michelle Benson and she made the 2 classes really interesting and fun. I was not sure what to expect, but I am glad I did it. It really helped me clarify certain grammatical points and also get a really realistic idea of how to teach a class, on or offline. Michelle’s instructions were always really clear, and her vibrant energy made you want to be there. I aspire to be as clear, open and enthusiastic as her! It seemed a little daunting to have to prepare a class and teach others but it actually was a lot of fun and helped get over that initial hurdle of having to present in front of a group. Michelle is very good at putting people at ease. Thank you for that Michelle!! The 180 hr TEFL course can be quite heavy going learning all the modules alone. This course really helped make sense of the course and I am very glad I did it. I feel it really completed my learnings. I really recommend it to anyone one their TEFL journey, it is so complimentary to the main course!

I have had a fantastic experience with the TEFL Institute. They recommended me an accredited level 5 course that would make me more attractive to prospective employers, for a very reasonable price. The coursework was clear, informative and manageable. Whilst travelling, I needed to extend my enrolment as it had expired. I contacted customer service and a lady called Emma replied to me promptly and was able to satisfy my request. Top class service all around.

I signed up for the TEFL 310 hour hybrid course a couple of weeks ago and I was so nervous I did not know what to expect. I then attended the 10 hour virtual course and I was even more nervous to get into that as I have never really done anything like this before...BUT our teacher Michelle Benson was absolutely amazing 👌 She literally made me feel so comfortable from the start 🙂 even on the 1st night it was so informative and so much fun. The group was lovely and at the end of our second and final day it was kinda sad to part ways even after only two days because our teacher made the experience amazing, I am now more confident in what my role is and where I am headed with TEFL I also have a much better understanding of the actual course, modules, chapters etc. Would recommend The TEFL Institute to any and everyone! I just finished the 120 hours TEFL course and the 30 Hours Online teaching course. The material is well explained and easy to follow. There is a good support system and although I personally didn't use it, I received the information and the name of a contact person. The course gives an excellent overview about teaching techniques, ideas for classes and mentions the possible problems and issues that can arise when teaching. I am a novice to teaching English and this course gave me a very good idea about what to look out for and how to best prepare my lessons. Highly recommended!

I found their online TEFL course to be extremely useful and easy to use. The fact that I could work at my on pace at any time of day made it very easy to fit into my schedule. The add-on courses also allow you to really hone your skills and further improve you CV. I would wholeheartedly recommend a TEFL course to anyone who is thinking of teaching English abroad. It will prepare you well for the work and is great value for money!

I recently completed my 180 hr level 5 TEFL course and 10 Hour Advanced Certificate in TEFL Classroom Methodologies Course with Michelle Benson. Michelle was extremally supportive, positive, and engaged throughout the 2 day session. The material itself provided a good practical overview of first time teaching experiences, provided a lot of useful information, and the practical teaching experience was enlightening. I just finished the 30 Hour Teaching Business English course. It is very well organized and provides so many interesting and useful resources as well as practical tools and strategies that can be applied to plan and deliver instruction.
