B. F.Amazing, inclusive, friendly school! We moved here from Australia 8 months and the school has been so welcoming to our three children. They have all progressed academically as well. Very happy!
I. K.Our son joined Thomas’s Academy’s nursery at the age of three and have been there since. We only had one criteria: for our child to be happy. We are convinced that it’s the base for anything else he would want to achieve.
As a family we have been outstandingly supported since day one, and especially during the last two very challenging years. We very much appreciate our very thoughtful, respectful and approachable management team at school, excellent teaching staff as well as every single person that works there. Additionally, we can see that special help provided to those who need it too. We are also thoroughly enjoying the parents community and together helping the school with any extra-curriculum and fun experiences for the kids.
We highly recommend booking a visit so you see it first hand. Thomas’s Academy is truly special.
C. W.ABOVE & BEYOND, ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING
The culture at this school is extraordinary, I hear stories from other parents all the time of out of the blue totally above and beyond acts of kindness or inspiration. The heads are clearly incredible people choosers and know how to lead a united and dedicated team. The vibe there is really ambitious, you can feel they are always striving, prodding checking for better ways to inspire and bring up our children. I speak for every parent there I know in this review.
A. G.We have two kids at Thomas’s Academy - one in reception and one in Year 6. We are very happy with the school and most importantly our children are very happy here. Great ethos and values. We love the approach to ‘teach children to learn’. I think it sets good habits and teaches children to do their research rather than just memorise information. Teachers and all the staff are really great. Parents often get involved in school activities and there definitely is a sense of a lovely community.
A. R.We are absolutely amazed on how positively Thomas’s Academy Nursery has impacted our son. When he joined the Nursery, he couldn’t speak English as we had just moved to the UK... For the last year and a half, we have witnessed his progression, not only with the language, but also in self-confidence and sense of community. Teachers are warm-hearted and genuinely interested in the well-being and integration of all the kids. As parents, we cannot imagine a better nursery for our kids.
K. A.This school is on track for achieving Ofstead Outstanding rating at the next review. We've joint the school 3 years ago, initially attending nursery and carrying on into primary, and feel very lucky to have been part of such a great community.
What sets this school apart is the global approach to learning and the culture of inclusion. The teachers are incredibly supportive, and school staff work very closely with PTA to continue to improve student experience. The school has coped very well with the evolving Covid requirements and has communicated clearly and openly on regular basis.
We highly recommend joining.
