The best dojo ever! if you want to learn Kendo and improve your life you must give it a try! I have never thought that 'the way of the sword' can teach you so much about working in a team, self-discipline, motivation and most importantly love. And whilst you're there you get to discover your inner tiger too! :)

Tora Dojo is an amazing place to learn kendo. As a beginner, I was apprehensive, but everyone here is generous, supportive and makes you feel right at home. It's reassuring to have more advanced beginners take you under their wing, and humbling to receive advice from the brilliant sensei and knowledgeable kenshi who practice at the dojo. There are many challenges to overcome, but thanks to everyone, none of them feels out of reach. This is a place of learning and human warmth, both. If you're up for that - and an invigorating post-practice beer - come along!

Amazing place to train. I feel very welcome, and am enjoying myself tremendously, under the supervision of the several teachers present in each class. Also great if you want to stay around for a drink/meal after each respective training too. Highly recommend!

A fantastic place to practice kendo in London and great people to be around. Tora's practice is very well organized and fun! Beginners and seniors are normally divided into groups and given plenty of instruction.

Very friendly club. Nice people. One of the best clubs in London for learning a Japanese traditional martial art - Kendo. Always go to the pub after practicing.

I started from zero four months ago, and the teachers and seniors are all very warm, kind and patient to teach me and correct my movements. Here I can practise not only to gain a sense of control for myself, but also to work within a team.

Everyone here is so warm, friendly, and patient :) I had been worried about joining a dojo after moving to a new city, and I am so grateful that the wonderful people here made the transition so natural and lovely.
