I have been studying with Carolina for nearly two years in order to help boost my Spanish GCSE grade. She is a lovely teacher, and very good at what she does. With her help I achieved a 9 in my Spanish GCSE and plan to continue my A-level studies with her. I would definitely recommend!

I cannot recommend learning Spanish enough. The classes are great fun and I am amazed at how much we are able to learn. Ana has a warm and friendly energy which makes the classes relaxed and very enjoyable. I am so pleased with how much I am learning and the great vibes of the class. Ana puts a great deal of time into teaching us, even when we are not in class. She sends us videos during the week that will help us and is totally committed to giving us the best teaching possible. Do not hesitate to learn Spanish with Ana, you will thoroughly enjoy it and really get to grips with the language with ease. I’m so glad I started and feel I have met really wonderful people in the process too.

I cannot recommend these Spanish lessons and the school enough! I’ve started in a small group with Carolina about 6-7 months ago and I’ve enjoyed every second! Being a foreign language teacher myself I can understand a good teacher when I see one and Carolina is brilliant! She makes you feel comfortable and she pays attention to each individual’s needs. She also send us videos during the week which are very helpful and she’s always with a smile in her face. Bonus for me was that I’ve met some great people within my group, so on top of learning Spanish I’ve made friends!!

I started taking Spanish classes with Carolina end of March to refresh my B1.1-level Spanish and practice my communication skills. I hadn’t practiced Spanish for almost 2 years and felt a bit rusty, but with Carolina’s help I quickly found my confidence again. Carolina is such a patient teacher with a great sense of humour. She has a great way of mixing gramma with great conversations and corrects in a very encouraging manner. The lessons via zoom run very smoothly and this also offers me a great deal of flexibility. I’m so happy that I signed up for these private lessons and am thrilled to see good progress. I highly recommend Ven Language Service, since it is such a great way of learning/refreshing/practicing Spanish with a great teacher!

Carolina is an excellent teacher, and really happy to adapt lessons to the intention of her students. She instinctively differentiates, so I can see everyone in my class (of three) making quick progress. Communication is always quick, and she marks my homework thoroughly (and doesn't even tell me off when it's late). Highly recommended. I have been studying Beginners Spanish with Carolina since September 2019 and I have learned so much in that time as well as enjoying all my lessons. Carolina ensures our small class has a good pace so our hour is filled well with learning and conversing. We have fun with plenty of laughter, we are comfortable to practise our new Spanish accents as well as focusing on any challenging grammar with honesty and support. Carolina gives lots of support outside of this time too, with setting and correcting homework, sharing videos to support what we’re learning in each lesson as well as recommendations for Spanish books, tv series and films.

Ven Academy are the best Spanish academy I've come across. A big part of engaging with material for me stems from how enthusiastic and engaging the teachers are (I lose focus with anyone monotonous) and both Ana and Caro tick these boxes. They are great teachers, and have a great level of care for all of their students. They organise so many different Spanish events and really go that extra mile for everyone they teach. I can highly recommend them to anyone wanting lessons in the area, you won't be disappointed!

I cannot recommend Ana and Carolina from Ven Language Services highly enough! I joined them last September after a long break from doing any Spanish and Ana has renewed my love for it – she is a very good teacher with an eye for detail and is very thorough in explaining grammar. Carolina also tutored my daughter to help her get a good mock GCSE grade, which she achieved with flying colours! She was a great help and my daughter actually enjoyed Spanish in a way she hasn’t before! In these extraordinary times the Zoom Spanish lessons work very well and I look forward to my Friday afternoons! Two of the best Spanish teachers in North London. Believe me, I know, as it took me a while to find them and what a great find!!

Classes with Ana are so great and make you feel comfortable. I have basic knowledge and understanding of the Spanish language, and Ana let me join a couple of classes before figuring out which was best for my level. The videos we are sent and homework we are set are so helpful and teach so much, so when we are in the small classes, we can communicate, converse (or try to.. for now!) and learn the subject we are studying with Ana in her native language. I feel I have learned so much in a short space of time!

I have really enjoyed my weekly spanish lessons with Ana. She has a relaxed and informative way of teaching which has been ideal for me and makes learning another lauguage fun and engaging. I have been enjoying studying Spanish in small classesof four with Ana for over a year now and I feel I learnt a lot. Ana is an excellent teacher, her lessons are well structured and always fun. She is very patient and encouraging and knows how to help her students to achieve their best. She also sends us videos to compliment what we learn in the lessons. Both Ana and Carolina are native speakers and experienced qualified teachers who give more than hundred percent to their students. Before the lockdown they organised various social events to give us further opportunities to practise speaking the language and to learn about Spanish and Hispanic cultures. At the start of lockdown they promptly switched classes to online Zoom classes and have been further supporting us by recommending Spanish classes and books. I attended the class Español Inicial 1 and what a great experience it was!!! Due to Covid-19 all classes were online via zoom but this didn't make the communication, learning and interaction any less effective. Ana is a very knowledgeable tutor that disseminates information quickly and accurately without sacrificing the quality of it. I started one class late but the environment was very welcoming and I never had any feeling of left behind. All in all a great introduction to Spanish language, highly recommended 👍

Great teacher! I started learning with Ana in Sept 2018. As a complete beginner she completely put me at ease! Her lovely, kind and patient manner is such a great advantage and encourages all her students to “give it a go” and be brave when speaking. The classes are well structured with an accompanying text book and a clear topic for each week. Supportive videos and homework related to the topic from that day’s lessons sent via our class’ WhatsApp group. Ana explains things very clearly and has helped me build up my confidence to converse in Spanish. She is an excellent and very experienced teacher and also great fun, as is her colleague Carolina! Both make an effort to arrange social events each term to get their students together around a Spanish theme. I highly recommend VEN Language Services.

I have been learning Spanish with Carolina for just under a year and I absolutely love it. The group is small which is perfect when you’re just starting out. Carolina is a fantastic teacher, very friendly, with a great sense of humour, and patience in abundance! It also helps to develop our understanding of Spanish culture which is an important part of learning any language. Since lockdown we have continued our classes online via Zoom which has been great. Both Ana and Carolina are native speakers and there is an emphasis on speaking and developing an understanding of grammar. Before the lockdown they organised various social events to give us further opportunities to practice speaking with people from the other classes. Ana has been a teacher for many years. I worked with Ana while she was a GCSE and A-Level Spanish teacher. I loved being in her lessons and observing her passion for teaching languages and transferring that passion to anyone in her classroom. I started learning Spanish in a group class with Carolina six months ago. Carolina is a brilliant teacher. She is very encouraging and supportive, and passionate about her students learning Spanish. The classes are really enjoyable and i’m always surprised how much we can learn in an hour. And it’s been lovely to make new friends with the other people in the group. Between classes, Carolina sends us videos and other materials to help our learning during the week. Outside of the classes, Carolina and Ana have created a welcoming, warm community of the students from all of their classes. We meet up monthly at a local pub and go on Spanish-related outings. Carolina and Ana are both so generous with their time, so encouraging and so passionate about what they do. I was a very nervous student when I started, as it was my first foreign language and I wasn't sure I would ever pick it up or feel comfortable speaking Spanish to others. Ana and Carolina both make you feel very comfortable and are clear in what you need to do. I also find it fun and although I may never be a great Spanish speaker I am beginning to feel if I get lost in Spain I would be equipped to find my way home! We had to move over to online zoom meetings which are great but I do miss meeting the other students and native Spanish speakers once a month in a local pub as its great to have the opportunity to chat to other people in Spanish in an informal setting con una cerveza o un vino tinto! One of the best things I did in 2019 was join the Ven team!

I highly reccomend Ven Language Services. I started Spanish at the end of September 2019 and I thoroughly enjoy my lessons with Carolina on Saturday mornings. Our classes are kept deliberately small (a maximum of 4) , which has been brilliant for me and facilitates my learning and interaction, and has encouraged me to practice my spoken Spanish, something I would be hesitant to do in a big class of people. Since the outbreak of Covid-19 in the UK we have switched to video-calling and the quality of the lessons is just as good as before. Carolina is patient, with a fantastic sense of humour, and our. classes are always filled with laughter. Carolina & Ana from VLS also organise meet-ups with other students, outings to exhibitions and a regular Friday Pub Night once a month (before Covid-19, obviously). It's a fun way to get to know other students and practice conversational Spanish, or just to listen and absorb (which is what I tend to do...). I also think the lessons are fantastic value for money.

Highly recommended 10/10. I visit Spain for businesses and communicate with customers by telephone and emails on a regular basis. Even though I could speak some Spanish, when it came to communicate with customers in business related terms, my Spanish was limited. Ana has been fantastic, she made a course tailored for my business purposes and assisted me in communicating with customers professionally. On my recent visits both to Madrid and Barcelona this proved to be a huge success.
