Well generally speaking the school isn't that bad.
Honestly the teacher are good at giving information although do need to explain more because sometimes the information given doesn't make too much sense until the teacher actually explain the content.
Then speaking about the building itself, it's in good condition even though some lockers need fixing.
The subjects that the school provides allows student to have nice though quite limited choice of subjects, I would say that adding engineering would be cool.
As of currently being a Y11 student I believe that the optimum way to help the students(Y11) is to actually ask them how they feel about the upcoming exams and ask them if they know effective ways to revise and prepare for them. I know that's responsibility of the student but I think that some guidance would be helpful.
On the other hand, the school rules and specially the newly introduced policies about hoodies are so silly, due to misbehaving as one of vice principles said hoodies are not allowed to be worn outside on the playground, it doesn't matter if you get cold, you are not allowed to wear one because some dumb student decided to fight with hoodies, very nice of school for doing this🖒. Also the new addition the playground being the digital clock(10/10) and the loud speaker, to be honest I get why would loudspeaker be useful but at the same time it's so unnecessary because it costs way cheaper to get the portable loudspeaker instead of installing a whole system, I would say it kind of waste of school budget that could instead be used on fixing lockers for example.
Furthermore, in my 4 years studying here I noted the two of the vice principles could be associated with screaming but it's just my association.
Talking about the post-16 education choices, this school does provide great opportunities for future life and their options "open up many doors" as one of the post-16 coordinators stated. I would say that if you a bit unsure about future steps this school is great for giving you ideas and opening new doors.
At last, every school has positives and negatives but I would say that spending 4+ years in this school is worth because the school and the teachers most likely will be pushing you to the top to get the top grades, I know that for some its annoying but it does pay out in the long-term and obviously all of that motivation will help you succeed in the short run e.g. passing GCSE with flying colours.

I went to this school in year 7, many children misbehaved, but were generally nice to me, but that might just be my experience. Fights weren't a rare occurrence and staff did not like to be proved wrong as a result of their arrogance. When Sir Naim Dangoor was alive, trips were paid for and were a good and effective way of rewarding good students, for example a visit to Thorpe Park for a day or Pizza Hut for lunch. There were some great teachers, specifically in the English and Maths department, but I'm not sure how the school is now.

dear sir/madam
I have been walking past these streets for a long time 3-4 years! they have been utmost respectful . around Christmas time one young man, didn't get a chance to catch his name carried my bags for me!
I also went to the park infront of the school and 3 girls let my child play on the swing! they are so kind. there are some squiggles but kids are kids, we can't expect them to be perfect.
yours faithfully ,
kelly
