Ivan has been teaching my children the piano since the beginning of the year and already there has been a massive improvement in their playing. We were drawn in by his passion on the piano and desire to see the children succeed. Not only was Ivan focussing on their playing but also theory - he mentioned that not only should a driver know how to move a car from A to B but they should know the rules of the road too! My kids are now enjoying the piano and are always looking forward to the lessons.

Under Mr. Ivan’s careful guidance, Martin not only improved his piano playing posture, but also gained a deeper understanding of music theory. Dear all parents: My daughter have been study with Ivan almost 2 years . I can say Ivan is the most passionate, responsible, kind ,patient and professional piano tutor we ever met . Me and my daughter always feel safe ,quiet and secure in his studio. And he always try his best to help us when we had any problems ( exam questions, lesson time..etc. ) He always delivered highest standard of every lesson . He used all his experience and professional music knowledge to help improved my daughter’s finger skills , feelings and passion of the music . My daughter passed her grade 4 exam distinction this year and looking forward to grade 5 now . That’s a big achievement under Ivan’s teaching . My 6 years old son has been learning piano with Ivan for just over a year. He has 2 half an hour lessons every week and making steady progress throughout, currently preparing Grade 1 pieces. We feel so privileged to have Luba as our 10 year old son Jeremy’s piano teacher and highly recommend her wholeheartedly. Luba is a very knowledgeable, patient, inspirational and enthusiastic piano teacher. She always shares a wealth of musical knowledge during the lessons and strikes to bring the best out of her students. She has an incredible flair for understanding a child’s level and ability to absorb. The lessons’ content and pace are perfectly suited to every student’s goals. She motivates him to learn and pay great attention to the small musical details that make the important jump from simply playing a piece to actually performing it. After a period of learning, Jeremy knew what and how to practice piano everyday. His self-discipline has also been greatly improved. Couldn’t want for a better teacher!

Lubov is an incredible piano teacher with a great vision and method of teaching the instrument to the young children. She doesn't not only teach how to play, she teaches how to understand, love and live through music. Lubov has been teaching my children for the past two years - the progress in unbelievable, with my older child passing all her music exams with distinction and getting all sort of musical prices at national competitions. Luba has been teaching my two sons (now 16 and 18 years) for over a decade and has become a member of our family! She is very professional, but always caring and has really inspired our boys as they have developed through all their grades. Luba’s teaching is of the highest standard – not surprising given that she was studying at the prestigious, Gnesina Music Academy. Luba has a rare talent in inspiring her pupils and broadening their horizons in music. This is not just about playing the right notes, but about the right style and impression of the piece and a full musical understanding. My sons have done all of the ABRSM grades ( mainly with merits and distinction marks), participated in music festivals (e.g. Ealing Festival of Music, awarded 2nd place, 2013) and were rewarded for their outstanding performances in the highly competitive environment of Westminster school with some achievements listed below: • Westminster Piano Competition Final, 2017 - playing Chopin’s Ballade No.1 in G minor • Westminster Musician of the Year Piano Competition 2016–Runner-up, playing Rachmaninoff’s Elegie in E flat minor • Westminster School Piano Competition 2015 – 3rd place, playing C.Franck Prelude in B minor • Westminster Musician of the Year Piano Competition 2014 – 2nd Prize, playing Rachmaninoff’s Prelude in C Sharp minor Much of this was credit to Luba’s ability in helping students to express themselves via the music they are playing . My sons did not plan to become professional musicians, but this incredible sense of musical achievement has allowed them to experience close to a professional performance. Luba is punctual, reliable and engaging and I am delighted to recommend her to others!
