Picking a nursery is such a big decision for any parent, but we have been so happy with Leigh’s nursery and, most importantly, our little one absolutely loves it there. We were able to contact them whenever we wanted an update on how our daughter was settling in, but we needn’t have worried as after her settling in session, she was already happy spending a full day there and continues to enjoy going. The staff are great, the activities varied and it has a real “home away from home” quality to it. I can see that her development has really come on since starting there and I can fully relax on the days my daughter is there as I know she is having a great time.

I have been teaching yoga at Leigh's Nurseries - Heddon for 7 years now. I absolutely LOVE teaching there, the children are so enthusiastic and happy to join in my classes. The nursery staff are always so kind and welcoming and everyone always seem to be having a fab time! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Leigh's Nurseries to anyone, infact I tell everyone looking for childcare what a fab setting it is 💖

I’m so proud to say my daughter attends Leigh’s Nursery! The whole team is so professional and treats each child to their own personality and needs! I love how they support and encourage my daughter to her full potential and develop her learning every day! My little girl is so happy going into nursery and even happier coming out and that speaks volumes for all the nursery team! Leigh and her team put my mind at ease as soon as I left my little girl for the first time! Literally treat her like she’s part of their own family!

Our daughter joined the Heddon nursery in April this year. She is our first baby so going back to work and facing leaving our little girl was tough, however I couldn’t have asked for a better environment for my daughter to be in. She absolutely beams when we pull up outside and can’t get in the door quick enough. Her development progresses so much every week and she is always showing new things she has learnt whilst at the nursery. We have been told by her key worker she loves to be around the other children, especially the different ages and the fact she has the opportunity to mix with all ages is amazing. I can really tell how much the staff care about her and I couldn’t be more grateful so thank you so much. I can’t wait to see how the rest of her journey at Leigh’s nursery goes.

My daughter has been to this nursery since she was 17 months old & today has just left ready for school age 4. She has loved going into nursery and always spoke about the nursery nurses and her friends! Yous all do a fantastic job helping the children to develop, socialise and grow into their little personalities! Aubree tells me this evening ‘awww I’m going to miss all the girls’. The standard of child care is excellent. I appreciate all yous have done for her, especially helping her settle when she first came & your hard work throughout the lockdowns. I think every parent is nervous sending their child to nursery for the first time. I definitely was, it was the first real time my 3 year old would be away from me. I needn't have worried from the second we went for just a visit my daughter was in her element. She runs into nursery each session with a smile and the only tears she's ever cried have been because she's having so much fun she doesn't want to leave nursery! Amazing home from home environment with an cosy natural hygge feel.

My little girl relocated from the Gateshead nursery to Heddon two weeks ago. I was apprehensive as she had been going to Gateshead since she was 9 months old and loved all the staff. The lovely ladies at Gateshead assured me that Ella would be in very safe hands and would have the best time at Heddon and the definitely weren’t wrong! The staff at Heddon have been so welcoming to us both and very understanding of Ella’s initial tears to me leaving her (as to be expected with a house/nursery move) but then she’s so full smiles and chatter when I pick her up and seems to have had the best day. I’m so very pleased we decided to relocate to Heddon when moving away from Gateshead, I think it’s been the easiest transition for myself, husband and Ella during our house move.

Absolutely amazing nursery, they helped my toddler settle in so quickly after he'd had quite a bit of upheaval moving across the country and having spent a short time in another nursery before we were able to buy a house, so this was his third nursery in 18 months. Leigh's staff are amazing, so helpful and warm, they build great relationships with the kids and come up with loads of fun activities. As a result of my toddler being so confident going into nursery and the staff being so engaging, my 14 month old has settled in beautifully there too, and never even whinges on drop off! Amazing, we love the nursery and have kept F, the toddler, at the nursery this year rather than moving on to a school nursery, as he is so happy there, can play with his little brother E, and the convenience of it all means we don't have to worry about covering school holidays or reducing the length of our working days, not to mention how much learning they get through the EYFS at Leigh's, I doubt that F would get any more out of a school nursery than he can at Leigh's. All in all, they both love it there, and that means we do too! Thank you for all you do, and for being such a wonderful place for our kids to spend their days!

Amazing nursery! I am a new mum and suffer badly with separation anxiety. It was really important to me to be able to leave Willow in the hands of people I felt would treat her with the same love & care that I do. I didn’t think I would ever be confident to leave her but with the support of Leighs it was made incredibly easy. From the first point of contact I just felt so comfortable & confident in my decision. Willow comes home with the biggest smile and has advanced amazingly in speech and confidence in just the short few months she’s been there, that even family members have commented on it. I wouldn’t change my decision for anything. Thanks so much Leighs x

Leigh's is a lovely nursery, full of amazing staff. Everyone is so friendly and I feel that my children are very well looked after. I can't recommend this place enough, I would be lost without them.
