the building itself is great with nice new technology. sixth form area is also very nice, with the newer areas added too. only problems for me are that during covid and just generally, they could have people just spray and wipe the doors and door handles down quickly, cause they do tend to get a lot of fingerprints and grime on them. another thing, i can't comprehend how this school advocates for sustainability yet no teacher in this school can just turn their computers or smart boards off whilst they're aren't in the classroom. it's not even a demanding task, yet none of them can just quickly switch it off. it's quite frustrating just walking in the hallways and seeing all the lights and computers still on, when there's really no need. if this won't convince them to do it, then im sure the dramatic decrease of their electricity bill will. they also seem to have forgotten covid is a thing, never having any windows open anymore. even without covid, the rooms get incredibly stuffy when the windows are closed for long and they really should be opened more. in addition, when there is enough natural lighting to fill the entire room substantially, teachers seem to radiate towards closing the blinds and turning the lights on. i just can't get by the logic. they deal with bullying or any problems quickly, but some teachers need to be sorted out. obviously no student in early high school years is going to complain about getting one work sheet a lesson and being able to talk and whatnot, but after getting to the end of high-school you begin to realise how much those moments mattered. I've had past experiences with teachers who gave one sheet for the entire lesson for us to work on which had about 3 questions on it. it's really quite disappointing, but there are still great teachers who go above and beyond to help their students which is just great. and the biggest problem- waste!! teachers at the end of lessons would say to put any undeeded sheets in the bin! every classroom should at least have a recycling bin, it truly is the bare minimum, especially for a school advocating for being environmentally friendly. it was honestly painful seeing people just put paper in the general waste bin some teachers get far too annoyed with students, some even having clear favourites within classes. school should be an unbiased and fair space but it seems that can't be maintained. and to those teachers who seem to constantly get annoyed at students, i want you to think are you really in the right profession?

Absolutely fab, had a great time in the lunch hall with food being thrown around, also had fun listening to Mr Hegarty 10/10 recommend his Wattpad account, very spicy, but let’s be honest everyone at our school is mentally ill because of it :))

My son attended this school and had a fantastic time, nice safe environment. Lovely bunch of pupils, he struggled with certain areas but the school really helped him achieve his full potential. No bullying , just a lovely grounded school . I know many parents have put their children in here after problems with other schools and they adapted well and are really thriving

OMG!!! Where. Do. I. Start. I don't think there has been a better school to exist in a long time! Great teaching staff, great pupils and OMG THE FOOD SERVED is too DIE 4! Would recommend to anybody, thoroughly enjoyed my time here! Wish i could do it all again! :P :D :) :L

Currently a Sixth-former here. Quality of the school itself is superb as is the teacher dedication to students. One minor topic I would like to address would be a certain supply teacher who uses the disciplinary "on-call" feature 50 times a day. Other than that, the Ofsted report which deems the school "outstanding" is definitely accurate.
