Being able to play the Piano has been a dream of mine since a young age. Turning 30 this year was my chance to reset some goals and tick off many things on my wish list, being able to play the Piano was a top one. I started lessons with Linda just under a year ago and can’t believe how much I have progressed in that time. Linda is a fantastic tutor with a wealth of experience, a lot of patience and has great confidence in her students. In under a year, I can confidently read sheet music and play pieces that I never thought would be possible. I achieved a distinction in my grade 1 music theory and I’m now working towards my grade 1 practical exam and grade 2 theory. I enjoy every lesson with Linda, each one is tailored to enable me to reach achievable goals and I am always encouraged to progress to the best of my ability. I would highly recommend Linda’s Piano Tuition, it’s easily one of the best things I have ever done! Thank you so much Linda.

As a mature student with a very basic knowledge of reading music. I was initially nervous about taking up piano again but Linda has been patient, putting me at my ease, she has provided huge encouragement at my weekly lessons and has given me the confidence and self belief in my ability to play piano. I started piano lessons with Linda about one year ago. As a mature student, I was a little worried at first about doing this, but Linda’s patient and friendly attitude made me feel completely at ease, and now I look forward eagerly each week to my next lesson. Linda is an excellent teacher, and her vast experience allows her the ability to tailor each lesson specifically to ensure that my progress is steady, and in an orderly fashion. In my particular case, I never thought that I could advance my piano playing capabilities as far as I have in just one year. I have been learning piano with Linda now for a year and the progress I’ve made is amazing. As an adult beginner I knew absolutely nothing about playing the piano or reading music. Absolutely fantastic! Linda is so friendly and has really helped my daughter find a love of playing the piano, we tried Linda's Piano Tuition as my daughter was struggling with anxiety. Being a complete novice my daughter was very nervous but Linda has been so supportive and she has really flourished and grown in confidence! I really enjoy taking piano lessons with Linda! She is always very welcoming every lesson. In lessons we move along at my own pace, with a challenge. Linda always accommodates to the pupils time schedule, even down to how much homework during the week. Lessons are always enjoyable and I look forward to them every week. For the first lesson I was quite nervous, but as the weeks went on, we gained trust and I didn’t feel nervous anymore. Even online lessons are exactly the same as face to face lessons. Every lesson always moves me a step forward. I have been attending lessons since September however, it feels I have been playing a lifetime.
