Having done my CBT with another school which turned out to be really disappointing, I feel so lucky that I was able to book my lessons and test through Karmenz. The quality of the instructors was excellent. The lessons were so much more than just lessons, they were a full on introduction to being a motorcyclist. The bikes were new and well maintained(which made a huge difference), the advice and continual feedback helped speed up my learning. They are just in a different league to the competition.

I started riding a bike in May and I have now passed my modular 1 and 2 with Karmenz. I would highly recommend this company if you are wanting to learn to ride. The guys who run the courses are great, they give you confidence and been a women I found they did not treat me any different if anything they were more encouraging for me to pass my test. I would recommend Karmenz to any male or female and of any age, they are very passionate in what they do and you know when you go onto the road on your own you are safe and most importantly you will have a laugh with the guys while you learn. Big thanks to Karl and Andy teaching me through from CBT to full unrestricted license in super quick time. If you have the desire they certainly have the knowledge and experience to get you through the test, they understand the process and what is required to meet the standards completely! The training bikes are great, all very new and well maintained. Another big plus for me was that they can loan you good quality riding kit if required and advise on the best kit and where to buy from (Andy even got me a discount on some of my gear). Another stand out item for me was how Karmenz get you on the actual MOD1 course at Kettering Test Center for you to practice on the day before your MOD1, that is a great idea and really helps with rider confidence before the test 👌🏻 Thanks guys 👍🏻

Karl and the team are fantastic. Karl is firm but fair but wants you to be safe and enjoy the road. All the instructors are great and extremely knowledgeable. I completed my CBT and DAS with them. Couldn't recommend them enough. Also bought a similar bike that I passed my mod 2 on, recommended by Andy. Hope to see you all on the road at some point and buy you a drink if I do.

I went from a complete novice (I didn't even know how to change gear on a bike) to having a full license in 4.5 days, passed first time. I can't give enough praise to the guys at Karmenz. Karl was recommended to me by 3 different people so I had to book through them! I don't even know how much I paid overall, I didn't care. The training schools are similar in price, some cheaper but I couldn't ignore the good things that I'd heard. They conducted themselves professionally throughout, I don't have a bad word to say. The bikes are great for a learner and fairly new. They have a range of kit you can use which is handy for someone like me. Karl is honest and won't bullsh*t you. If he thinks you need improvement in an area or you're not ready to pass the test, he will tell you. We got lots of practise before the mod 1 and I felt well prepared for the mod 2. The standards are so high that the test felt like a walk in the park. Karl, Andy and Tim were all great tutors, I can't recommend these guys enough.

Karl and Andy are by far the best instructors I’ve ever met! I took on the 3.5 day course, which can be really hard to come across in the motorcycle world, but I definitely picked the best school. Karl and Andy are so professional in their training and so encouraging. At first I was incredibly nervous going from a 125cc to a larger bike, straight away I was put at ease and felt comfortable and confident in myself. As a shorter lady I was worried about the height of the motorcycles I may have learnt on however at Karmenz they have a great range of tall to lower motorcycles. I definitely felt as I gained heaps of experience from the training given to me, and as a result passed both mod 1 and 2 first time. I couldn’t be happier with the guys at Karmenz! They’re the best! It was a privilege to have them as my instructors. P.S I will be back to pop in to say hello on my bike☺️

Passed my CBT today. And it was a great experience. Met Karl in the morning and he was very friendly and professional. There were tighter rules for Covid-19 and they were great allowing social distancing and hygiene with still being able to learn comfortably. Tim was my CBT instructor and he was amazing. friendly, extremely patient and made me feel confident in what i was trying to learn/do. Once allowed i shall be coming back here to do a DAS course. I'll TRY to keep this short but I've had a prolonged journey with Karmenz so it won't be easy :-).......thank you COVID 19!! Other than a tiny bit of dirt bike riding on sand dunes in Africa back in the late 80's I signed up online for my CBT as a complete novice. My objective was to gain a full license so I contacted Karl regarding DAS training, Mod 1 and Mod 2. He was able to work out a plan to suit my availability - something I'd struggled to find as a lot of training programs have preset dates - I really appreciate that type of flexibility and it's fantastic customer service. We agreed on 3.5 days of training and then to move onto the tests. All went according to plan until lockdown the day before Mod 1- nothing we could do about that!! Karl stayed in touch throughout lockdown which I really appreciated. As soon as he was able to start up again I took a couple of lessons to blow away the cobwebs. Mod 1 was booked for the first Friday after the DVSA opened up with Mod 2 to follow bright and early the Monday after (this week actually). I passed both at the first attempt thanks to Karmenz. Both Andy (pre-lockdown) and Karl (post) have forgotten more about bike riding than I'll ever know but have the ability to pass on their knowledge without making a total novice feel like a numpty :-) The training is taken seriously (which it should be of course) but we had an immense amount of fun at the same time, including some advice on my first bike which I now own - and can ride at last !! :-) I can't recommend Karmenz enough - highly skilled professional instructors, great selection of bikes, flexible training plans all wrapped up in a massive fun factor. If you want to learn to ride a bike properly don't hesitate! I live 20 miles away and it was still a no brainer for me. I'll pop in soon on my bike guys and will definitely be signing up for more advanced training in the future. Keep well and thanks again.

Could not recommend Karl Andy and tim enough i done my das course with them all and have zero regrets! I did my cbt with tim who's spot on and made me feel very welcome and relaxed I passed straight away due to this. I then done my mod 1 with Andy who is a great guy who keeps you very settled i had zero worries while with him i also passed 1st time. I then done my mod 2 with Karl and where to start with him.. looks like he could snap you in half for fun but honestly what a great guy he's a big friendly giant and is extremely professional at what he dose. I went in to my mod 2 feeling very confident because of him and his way of training and passed 1st time again! The bikes are great and in 1st class condition along with any safety kit you may need i.e helmet, gloves, coat, trousers they have the lot. Again could not recommend them enough!!

What can I say, with Andy's training and Karl's professionalism I completed my CBT, MOD 1 & MOD 2 without any problems. If you've never riden or returning after some time I cannot recommend any other company than Karmenz, great bikes to use all equipment you need can be supplied from gloves to helmets and trousers to jackets. Above all else the time and patience of the staff is second to none and I will be recommending Karmenz to everyone. I booked my CBT and completed a 3.5 day course with Karmenz prior to obtaining my category 'A' unrestricted motorcycle license. I couldn't believe just how quick and easy the process turned out to be; Karl provided concise information and detailed/booked each stage in order for me to reach my desired goal. Through extensive tuition, guidance and observed road practice I couldn't recommend and thank my tutor; Andy enough! Coupled with an extremely positive and professional attitude toward preparing students for their respective tests; the passion shown by each member of staff at Karmenz really did shine through. I have previous failed the test 3 times with different schools, and choose Karmenz as the final option and last go at it. Karl and Andy understood my needs and helped me with the training despite having Dyspraxia. Karl was supportive at the test centre and a really good person to ride with (even if the weather was a tad wet). the bikes are up to date and really was a factor in the passing of the test. After 10 years of worry’s and anxiety Karmenz help me pass my test and help me achieve my dream of finally dropping my L Plates! I did my Cbt back in 2018 with the bloke called Neil he was very good and honest I like that he also help me as this was my first time doing my Cbt test and he help me a lot when we got on the road we often stop and have a cigarette and talk about what I did good and what I could do better reason I am given 5 star my dad and sister took their Cbt and did their full bike license up there as well. Karl, Andy and Neil provide a professional, friendly and no nonsense training schedule designed to fit your existing riding experience. I came here as a 'returner', having driven a motorcycle with sidecar many years ago. As such, I was a novice on solo machines. If you are straight with them, they will point out your errors, point you in the right direction, and provide you with all their tips and experience, which they have gained over many years of training to enable you to reach test standards safely. Armed with these benefits, you have every chance of passing your motorcycle qualifications whether that be CBT or full A licence (or somewhere in between). The rest is down to you. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Started out doing my CBT, a full days training and got my certificate at the end. Continued on through the week practising for my module 1 for my A2 licence. They really go to their best efforts to get you the training you need. Including booking out the MOD1 test centre for a couple of hours before! No other bike school does this! Passed the MOD1 with no minors and was on my way to practice for the MOD2, took us out on the road loads. Exploring bike shops talking you through the motorbike gear you need and even a few little bike cafes. Passed today and now have my full A2 licence. Don’t think about doing it, call them and get booked on. Can’t thank them enough. Amazing guidance and garunteed to get you through your test and on to two wheels, most importantly safely! See you in 2 years to get my full A licence guys. And once again thank you.
