A fantastic nursery in every way. The staff are all brilliant and our daughter rarely has a backward glance when we drop her off as she loves them all. The facilities both indoor and outdoor are fantastic with so many things to do to encourage independence and creativity. The daily activities at nursery are varied and fun. The wide range of food is wholesome and fresh. Our daughter is happy confident and loves her days at nursery. From the first visit we were so happy to have such a gem so close to where we live. We would highly recommend Orchidale.

I couldn’t rate this Nursery any more than I already do. It’s brilliant. I was so nervous about putting my baby into the hands of someone else, and after viewing other nursery’s and not liking any I was wondering if it was just me, and whether I was ever going to find the right place. While they were showing me around I couldn’t stop smiling, I even felt emotional looking around the garden area. It was perfect. The perfect place for a child to be a child. Cooking classes, yoga, woodwork, mud kitchens and sensory room. Nicole is a credit to the place, my daughter loves her, she is an amazing key worker and really helped settle mine in there, and all the other staff in the 0-2 room, you can just tell they all care. I even travel 30 minutes to get here, and I have closer places to me. It’s just that good.

We moved our son here from another nursery, and it was the best decision we’ve made. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, it doesn’t matter who greets us they are always smiling and give a warm welcome. Our son has flourished here and would stay forever if he could! They’ve worked with his dietary requirements brilliantly, and his keyworker has listened to his somewhat random interests to make his nursery experience amazing 🤩

We recently moved to the area and needed to find a nursery for our son and we feel so lucky to have found Orchidale. It's absolutely wonderful. My son settled in instantly due to the care and attention of all the fantastic staff there. I love that the teachers follow the children's lead and nurture their individual interests and ideas. They make playdoh cupcakes, have water fights, build wooden toys, create obstacle courses and so many other things! My son has attended a few different nurseries/daycares and Orchidale is far and away the best. It's truly special and I can't recommend it highly enough.

I honestly could not recommend this nursery enough. Working myself in the education sector I has quite high expectations of what I expected and it was difficult to find a nursery I liked. However I knew Orchidale was the one whilst taking a look round it has a home from home feel with a team that were like a family. My child was very attached to me and I was anxious about leaving them and returning to work but they were a great support and their key person made this transition much easier. I love that they use tapestry so whilst at work I could receive updates on what they were up to and communicate with the team. My child has almost been attending for almost 2 years. In these two years Orchidale have gone above and beyond to create a safe and nurturing space and my child has come so far, strengthening confidence, being creative, learning new skills, learning whilst having fun in the enchanted outdoor space, building social skills and making friends and Although I will be sad when they leave I know 100% where my second child will be attending and I can’t think of a more special place to share another journey with. Thank you Orchidale!

Our little boy has been at Orchidale for almost 2 years and I honestly don’t have a bad word to say, the amount of opportunities that are provided for the children to play and learn are incredible from the wood workshop to forest school Orchidale has something for every child! All the staff are friendly and caring and I don’t for a second worry about him being at nursery. Orchidale goes above and beyond to create a stimulating environment which is fun and safe I cannot express in words how much I love this nursery. Our little boy gets so excited on nursery days and will just walk in waving bye whilst looking for his friends without a second thought and I know he wouldn’t do that if he didn’t feel happy and safe. I cannot recommend Orchidale enough!

My daughter started coming to Orchidale Nursery after her second birthday, since then holly has learnt so many new skills, her speech has come on massively, also she absolutely loves coming to nursery. Its more than a home from home. she especially loves being outdoors and the opportunities are endless, more than I could ever do at home. My son loves attending Orchidale every week. He has become so independent and confident since he started coming here. Amazing nursery, so glad I picked this nursery for my 3 year old to attend. All the staff I've spoken to have all been so friendly and energetic and have the perfect attitude towards all the children. I've only managed to have a brief look at the nursery because of Covid-19, but from what I have seen, its a really lovely nursery. My son absolutely loves going to nursery and has a great relationship with a few of the staff members, so much so, he told me that one of the staff members was his best friend! I love this nursery, and hoping to get my other little boy in once he's a bit older. Lovely nursery and would recommend to anyone, absolutely no complaints! Thank you to all staff at Orchidale!

I highly recommend this nursery. My daughter has been there since she was 9 months and I can see her development each day that she comes home. The staff are responsive, professional, caring, kind, and fun. I always feel reassured when my daughter goes off to nursery that she will be having an active and fun day whilst learning and socialising to build her knowledge and confidence. The administration of the nursery is efficient and effective. I always feel that I am kept up to date and communication is always clear and helpful. I am able to go through my daughter's tapestry journal and photos with her in the evenings so she is able to tell me all about her friends/staff in their various environments. The menu for the children is regularly varied and there are regular focus weeks where I am asked if there is anything I want nursery to focus upon to help my daughter's development. This helps both home and nursery to work from a common understanding of where she is at in her development.

My son has been attending Orchidale for about a year now and we absolutely love it. He started in the 0-2 room and has now processed up to the 2-5 room. I was lucky enough to of been able to go in the nursery pre-covid and it really feels like a home away from home, very cosy, welcoming, warm, organised and clean environment. All the staff are lovely and always have massive smiles on their faces, more than happy to help, and have been more than accommodating, kind and understanding when it comes to challenges like potty training! The nursery now has a mini bus which the older kids go to the nursery’s forest school (by the Norfolk show ground) on, which obviously the kid’s enjoy and is an added bonus as the garden area at Orchidale is a toddlers heaven and has been designed incredibly well. I get regular updates with pictures and videos on The tapestry app which is also an added comfort. Needless to say I would recommend this nursery to anyone looking around this area. I feel very grateful that my son is learning and growing here!

My daughter has been going to Orchidale for nine months since she was 13 months old. We had such a good feeling from the first time we visited, not least by seeing how happy the other children were. My daughter settled in straight away which was a huge relief for us. She only attends one day a week (she is on the waiting list for a second day, however it is that popular!) and she always waves me off without any problems and settles in for breakfast with her friends first thing. We love seeing the updates throughout the day via Tapestry showing her progress. Her keyworker and the rest of the nursery staff are all friendly, helpful and take time each time I pick her up to go through her day. We particularly like how much time the children spend outdoors as the child led way that they play. I would definitely recommend Orchidale.

My daughter has been going here since July 2020 as my childminder retired. They were so accommodating and helpful. We loved the nursery the moment we saw it. My daughter (2 years old in December 2020) gets so excited on the drive there each day and she just walks straight in which makes me happy to know she is happy there. They are always up to exciting things with the kids and I love to see all the photos of everything they have been up to. I highly recommend this nursery

My son has attended Orchidale for the last 3 months. It was really tough to pick a nursery in the current climate with COVID-19 but i'm so pleased we managed to get him in here. He settled straight in to nursery life and talks about it all so positively. The staff are warm, welcoming and so positive with the children and parents. Any question i have is responded to quickly. They are extending the opportunities and provide something other nurseries don't have by taking the children to a forest area on their mini bus. They get the best of both worlds. My second child will also go here when she's older as i'm so happy with it. Thank you to all the staff there :)
