J. S.I have attended both the studio for the Friday painting classes and one off online workshops. I used to create lots of art when I was younger and wanted to get back into it whilst still working full time. Helen creates an informal supportive environment in which to learn and experiment. I have been able to try mediums I have never used before and have absolutely fallen in love with oil pastels! A big thanks to Helen for making me feel welcome in the Create Art community. I will keep coming back for more.
L. O.Helen is the most wonderful teacher. She really gives you confidence to have a go at creating art. She gives brilliant tips and is very encouraging perfect for someone like me who doesn’t think that they are very good. She has a wonderful range of classes and courses. You always feel very supported and can do classes at your own pace in your own time. Perfect for a busy mum! I will definitely attending more in the future.

Helen leads you through a journey where each lesson progresses you to the next level, both with ease and with a thirst for more. You almost feel as though you are cheating art by producing such wonderful pieces in such an uncomplicated fashion in such a short space of time.

d. l.What a great session!! I was invited to attend a wreath making event as festive get together and it was fantastic! Kit arrived in the post with everything you need. It was fun, very interactive, brilliant instruction and I was amazed at what we were able to create in just 2 hours... Would certainly recommend !

I found Helen's on line courses were a great way to I started Helen's drawing and painting classes a few months ago having not done anything arty since school! And I am now well over retirement age. All I can say is that Gelen is a brilliant teacher, always well prepared, cheerful, patient and encouraging. So much so that I have been amazed at what I have achieved in her classes and in between. I have created my own art wall at home so I can enjoy my own work! She manages to pitch her classes so beginners and experienced artists can develop their skills.

I also like the balance between live classes and video recordings that you can access in your own time. And once you sign up to become a member of Create!, there are lots of lovely little free tutorials you can access too. Definitely the best art teacher that I have come across so far - would highly recommend!

In all cases she teaches in a relaxed, friendly manner, step by step, so even complete beginners can follow, learn and produce a good drawing or painting. The video courses are a good way to try a style of drawing or painting out with minimal time or financial commitment. Creating with Helen is very relaxing, enjoyable and rewarding.
