M. B.My son attended both the Beeston and Woolaton classes in his time with this drama academy (at times being taught by both Miss Amy and her other trusted teachers). He loved every minute of the lessons and lit up at his chance to shine on stage when it came to performance. His confidence has been increased and he relished time spent with the other children. I recommend this to any child looking to try something different and be inventive.

My daughter always looks forward to going to the classes and in her words when asked she said " She likes that no one is ever forced into doing anything they don't want to do".

Not only did I have a fabulous time as part of the Helen OGrady Team, I had a fabulous time watching the students blossom and grow. This drama class facilitates the needs of each individual child due to a smaller class size than some larger companies. I loved seeing each child come back every week with a new step of confidence and telling me how they’d spoken in assembly or read out loud in class for the first time. The classes focus around elements of speech ‘diction, projection’ ect which is amazing vocabulary for young students to know and subsequently use in and out of school and drama learning. The shows provide students a chance to perform at their own pace. Lines are spread out between the budding actors so that everyone has their moment to shine which is so important. I loved seeing long returning students spend years with the company. I have nothing but great words to share about a wonderful business and it’s owner miss Amy, who embodies what it means to ‘sparkle!’
