It has been one of the best decisions I have made, to send my son to stepping stones nursery. He has been attending the nursery since he was 7 months old and is currently 3. The staff are friendly, attentive towards the needs of children and they have created an environment where my child has thrived in his social development and communication. Over the years I have been impressed with the wide range of diverse activities that the nursery exposes the children to such as baby yoga, football coaching, animal visits, visits from emergency services etc. My son really enjoys attending stepping stones nursery which alongside the professionalism of staff provides me with reassurance that he is in the right place to help contribute towards him having a great start to life.

Our daughter started at Stepping Stones when she was 10 months old. She settled in very quickly and almost straight away started feeding herself (she was not interested in food at all before), crawling and dancing to the music. The speed she has started to learn new skills since starting nursery has been incredible and it is just wonderful to see. She has also grown very fond of many of the nursery teachers.. we highly recommend 🤍

An absolutely fantastic nursery. My daughter has attending from when she was 9 months old all the way through until leaving for primary school. The staff are attentive, caring, compassionate, and I have never had any cause for concern. The classes were always engaging and my daughter particularly enjoyed the various activities that were undertaken (including from external providers who would put on classes such as yoga/football/animal handling) Management are also extremely approachable and will go the extra mile for you. I would 100% recommend this nursery

It has been an absolute pleasure to see Sophie, who is naturally quite a shy child, settle into the Pre-school rooms at Stepping Stones so well. I was slightly nervous about moving Sophie from another nursery, but these fears proved to be unfounded. Stepping Stones is a fantastic setting, wonderful outdoor areas and very friendly and helpful staff members. She has particularly bonded with Kirsty and Jade, who have made the transition for us as parents, as well as Sophie, thoroughly seamless. Sophie has never hesitated about going into the room in the morning and always comes home having had a fantastic time. I would highly recommend this Nursery to anyone.

Stepping stones is a fantastic nursery and pre school. Both my children have attended this nursery and I couldn't thank them enough for the care and attention they give to not just my children, but every single child in their care. What makes this nursery probably the best in nottingham, is the staff members and their positive energetic personalities, they always have time for not only just your child but for you as the parent as well. A child doesn't strive to their full potential if the parent and staff members don't have a good relationship and every single staff member that looks after my child, knows her like the back of their hand because the staff go out of their way to build relationships with every parent that walks into their room. The nursery is very clean, always well looked after and the children love it here. The security levels on this place regarding keeping your child safe is beyond amazing, they fill me with confidence every time I left my children that they would be happy and safe and every single time I picked them up, they were exactly that. There's a camera recognition camera on the main door into the nursery, there is 1 exit in and out of the building and then you are still required to give a password on collection of a child so if you have bad anxiety like myself, this is the perfect place for you. The minute you walk into reception you are greeted with a hello and a big smile even if its 8am in the morning 😊 Could not recommend enough, this nursery has brought my children out of their shells so much and I can't thank them enough for the support they've offered myself through my children's time at this nursery.

My son has been going here since September and I can honestly say the place is absolutely amazing. Lewis had settled in really well. He enjoys it so much. Everyday he’s learning something new. When he’s not there he’s always asking when he’s going to see his key workers James and jade, also team leader linzi. He doesn’t stop talking about them and He gets so excited knowing that he will be seeing them soon. They are attentive, caring, compassionate and a credit to the stepping stones team. I couldn’t ask for a better nursery or staff to look after and teach my son.

Im writing this review because Im very disappointed in how the events turned out this morning. My child was rejected today at this nursery and the reason was because they dont have enough teachers to care for him and his lack of speech... and this isnt even why Im disappointed, its because first they gave us a tour of the hole nursery we were in there for 45 min talking looking and my son and us as parents were so excited he would start this new chapter of life there. So they sat us down after all of this and told us to wait after 10 minutes they told us sorry but we cant take your child because he doesnt speak and we don't have enough teachers to support him, they did ask if we wanted to be placed on waiting list for 10 months to which I said no. After I had a very disappointed child, and me as a parent is very sad to see him like this. I just wished that you would have told me at the very beginning that you're not taking in children who don't speak instead of giving him hope. Update: They did try to fix things and get my son started at the nursery after all, but I’ve found somewhere else I feel he’ll be better off.

Simply the best nursery ever! I can't find the right words to describe how good and amazing place was Stepping stones for my children! A lot of happiness, smiles and love I've seen in my little ones after nursery. I would recommend them to everyone! Full with activities, toys and different rooms. Really well organized nursery. My 3 year old daughter joined Stepping Stones just before turning one. The team has been amazing with her and we are greatly thankful to their kindness with our little one. She absolutely loves going there every morning and I am sure being in nursery has helped her develop her self-steem and knowledge of the world.

My daughter attended as her first nursery. The staff were approachable, open and adaptive. The safety and security measures were very reassuring. My daughter enjoyed ger time there. Love the fact she had a named key worker who keep me informed of the activities they'd done through out the day. Highly recommend.

I don’t usually write reviews but honestly hands down best decision I made sending my daughter to this nursery. She loved everyday here and built an amazing relationship with the staff. The staff keep you updated on a regular basis and are really friendly. My daughter spent nearly 3 years here and during her time she learnt a lot and created a lot of memories. She was genuinely the girl that cried and made excuses because she didn’t want to leave. It was sad to see her last day because although she understands she’s moving on to school, she still talks about all the members of staff. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

My daughter went to Stepping Stones day nursery for 4 years, i.e. from baby room to Pre-school. She had a great time. Quite pleased with her progress and achieving all her milestones. The nursery staff is amicable, and the quality of food for the children is good quality and nutritious. The outside area is big for the children to run around. Because of the excellent education in Pre-School, my daughter managed to clear her assessment for Nottingham High School. I would highly recommend Stepping Stones Day Nursery & Pre-school to all the parents looking for nurseries for their children. They are fantastic and highly professional.

Taking my daughter to Stepping Stones was the best thing i ever did. When she first attended this nursery at 2 years old she had never been separated from me before and she was very unsettled. But the staff were amazing with her and within a few weeks she loved it and never wanted to leave. She is now 4 years old and wants to go to nursery everyday,this is because of the fantastic staff at stepping stones. Stepping stones lives up to its name, it has given both of my children the best start any parent could hope for their most precious gifts from God. Lovely place and environment for your kid to grow and learn new things every day, as a result you have a happy kid coming home every day. I highly recommend this nursery, as it was by far the best one we've been on. Unfortunately is a bit far from our house that's why we have to change our daughter from here, but if not, she will definitely will still be going here.

I would like to say a massive Thank You to all the staff at Stepping Stones Day Nursery for the smooth return back to class. My 2 year old daughter has been able to settle back into normality after being off due to Covid-19 pandemic. The nursery has provided the wonderful experience and support to my son, he developed well and enjoyed lots of fun in these years. One of my best decisions as a parent has been sending my son to this nursery. He’s been going since 6 months old. The nursery always take on board any comments or requests about routine, food, bottles etc. I was still breastfeeding my son when he started and they were great about giving him breast milk, allowing me to bring in a stash for them to freeze and use when needed. They don’t mind if I want to call anytime to check up on him during the day and when I pick him up in the evening I get a little report of every thing he has done throughout the day. Even down to how many dirty nappies he has had. The women seem to genuinely care about and like my son which is so important to me when leaving him there In their hands for the day. All of the staff are so friendly, from the front desk to anyone you bump into in the corridor.

Words can’t describe how happy we were when our son Sidharth was enrolled in stepping stones. He still loves and talk about the time he had spent there with his friends and the professional and friendly staff they had. we compared a lot of nurseries around Nottingham and stepping stones always stood first based on our experience. The owners were always helpful, wonderful people who don’t hesitate to go extra mile when needed. We both worked full time and were very comfortable leaving Sidharth at stepping stones and he himself loved going there. My daughter settled in so fast here at stepping stones, where has at her first place even after 5 months was not settled. From day one the staff and management team helped us to feel at ease and it really has become a home from home for my daughter who has come on leaps and bounds with all the great support and effort the staff put in.
