I’ve just started an Intermediate Spanish course with the OU and was feeling a little overwhelmed at the prospect of engaging with other students, many of whom were very confident speakers. I found Viva Languages on social media and did a couple of tailor-made conversation classes with Fiona via Zoom. She is a great teacher. The lessons were planned and pitched at just the right level for me and Fiona’s feedback and guidance were delivered very skilfully and in such an encouraging way. The materials used for the lessons and ‘homework’ were super and such fun to do! I feel a lot more confident now and am so pleased that I found Viva Languages. ¡Muchas gracias!

I use Viva for private German Tuition I last spoke german in the 5th Form at school in the mid 70's - but as I travel internationally and work with and alongside German colleagues I thought it'd be good to be able to speak in German rather than rely on their English all the time. Fiona has found me a great German Tutor - Bill , who not only has a great teaching style and amazing grasp of the language and its technical nuances - my role is scientific technical - but is also a great personality - which i think is so important in building a good working relationship. We started off with him coming to my house for lessons once a week , but now since lock down we both use Zoom video conferencing - which surprisingly works really well as we can document share and also create bespoke language work sheets a together .
VIVA FIONA & BILL - All Highly recommended.

My wife and I had lessons with Fiona of Viva Language Services in Peterborough before we headed off to South America for an extended honeymoon.
We were complete beginners but after a few lessons had learnt a lot in the key areas such as travel, food/drink, hotels, medical etc that we found very beneficial for our trip.
Fiona was a very engaging and patient teacher who kept the lessons interesting and challenging.
We would recommend lessons for those wishing to start or improve their spanish.

Following me son's disappointing performance in his Mock GCSE Spanish exam (C/B boundary) I engaged Fiona for a one hour lesson each week from January to the final exam. My son achieved an A* in his Spanish GCSE which would not have happened without Fiona's support. My son's confidence increased immeasurably within a couple of sessions and he went from strength to strength.Fiona's calm and well structured approach with one to one tuition made a real difference. Fiona helped him realise he could do it - and he did!

Fiona helped both of our sons. One with both GSCE and A levels and the other recently with his GCSE's where he got the new equivalent of an A star. She followed the sylubus for both courses during her lessons. She is our gem of a find and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for help or just to improve their Spanish.

Fiona was great in helping us prepare for our move to Ibiza. My husband and I had 2 to 1 lessons with her and got a fantastic grounding in Spanish in just 6 weeks. Would recommend!

My one-to-one lessons with Fiona are excellent, both in England and by skype whilst I am in Spain. Last year, I was admitted to hospital as a medical emergency and spent six days there. Only the consultant spoke English, so I was extremely glad to have had my Spanish lessons so I could answer questions about my health and communicate my needs during a difficult time.

Fiona is a very encouraging teacher of Spanish. I am a very negative learner but Fiona just says "you know it" or "you can/will learn it". Slowly and surely I do. Fiona has different learning resources and keeps things interesting. I would not have learned as much as I know now without the encouragement of Fiona
