Very friendly staff members . Before and after the class the children can stay longer to play with each other, ‘’so they can know each other and form new friends ships”( the sensei’s words). They have many completions, which I think is important so the students can test their abilities. The place is very spacious and has bathrooms even a baby changing bathroom. You can see the training at all the time as the room is divided by a glass window. We tried 3 places around( the most known ones) and we decided that this place is the best for our son. The only con is that the place is not squeaky clean, but I am a cleaning fanatic so I can see everything.

Super place for learning martial arts , for children of all ages , very friendly staff , parents are able to sit and watch their children and enjoy a coffee ☕ Plenty of road side parking , Deborah who teaches Taekwondo to the younger children is very encouraging and patient 👍

Top quality classes every week. My son has been training Taekwondo and Kickboxing in mythic martial arts for 2 months now. He enjoys his training and feels exciting about training. All coaches in there are kind and patient. They help my kid doing his best and give each kids fair attention. Highly recommend if you would like your kids starting martial arts.

My both kids are training in mythic martial arts with Andy for almost 5 years. Their progressing are incredible. It is not only in their martial arts skill but also their life skills. What an amazing place! My son just finished his two weeks free trial in here. He absolutely love every minute with coach mike and coach Andy. Both coach are really kind and professional in what they are doing. I can already notice the improvement from my son. the Layout of the gym is great! The kid can focus on training without being distracted. and I can enjoy my coffee while he is training. Highly Recommend this place

My Kids has been training with Andy for five years. They are keeping telling me how much they have learned from Andy. Now they are first Dan Black Belt holders in Taekwondo. And they are still training as hard as they were a white belt. The new gym looks great! Clean and tidy! All the coaches are nice and friendly. It is an excellent place to start training martial arts.

Ellie's been training since October 2018 after completing 2 years in taekwondo, she is absolutely loving this form of martial arts and the instructors Andy and Mike are patient and excellent at what they do. All students are closely watched and where needed are quickly corrected. Ellie now loves to practice at home and is gaining good fitness levels and her attention skills are improving. I love this place!! My little one has been training for nearly 3 years with these guys and we wouldn't go anywhere else. Coach Mike especially has been my childs trainer for the past 3 years and he truly is an amazing teacher. Nothing is to much effort or trouble and he always has a smile on his face. Coach Andy is lovely too. This is a safe, clean, friendly environment for any child and the fact that mine still looks forward to attending weekly after 3 years of training speaks for its self. :)

This is an awesome gym who always put the children’s needs first and foremost! My two grandsons have trained with Andy and Mike for over 4 years and have flourished in their care. Their confidence has rocketed upwards, their self esteem is huge and their achievements beyond belief! The eldest has learning difficulties and the youngest had a lack of self belief when they started. Now they are unrecognisable from what they were like. I would not hesitate to recommend Mythic Martial Arts to everyone! 5 stars really isn’t enough recognition for all they do for the children in their care!!! My son has been training with Coach Andy since he was 4 years old. He began Taekwondo as a very shy, sensitive little boy with very little confidence and now with thanks to Andy he is a confident, outgoing 6 year old who has worked his way up the belts with hard work and encouragement from Andy, as well as his team-mates. Andy has always supported our son with both his Taekwondo and his new found love for Kickboxing. I genuinely couldn't recommend a better Martial Arts class and feel that all the coaches deserve the best recommendation; not only are they professional, highly experienced and talented, they care about each child they work with and take their time to understand them and help them progress. The children all get along no matter their age, race, or religion and support each other endlessly. As well as good communication with the children, the coaches have a good relationship with the parents/carers and take their time to liaise at the end of the sessions. The training place itself is spacious, clean and well organised with a TV in the waiting space if parents would prefer to get a hot drink and watch their child/children from that area. If anybody is looking to sign their child/children up to Martial Arts I encourage you to give these a call!

My son has been a student of Andy's for over 2 years now and been with mythic martial arts since it began. Andy is a fantastic coach with a great team. The negative comments are out of immaturity and hostility because they have been called out on the negative impact they bring, mostly down to them condoning the boisterous and bullying behaviour of their children aswell as themselves. As a martial arts academy and as instructors also we could not recommend enough, they treat all students with respect and are genuinely pleased when their students progress, they instil discipline, humility and the importance of teamwork in all students which is evident, with the exception of the before mentioned who seemingly cannot be helped.

Most parents know how hard it can be to get children motivated to do anything that requires effort however these training sessions really are the highlight of my daughters week, it’s all she talks about! I have been training with the coaches who run mythic martial arts for over 10 years now and I have always been treated with respect and felt welcomed by all the team and other students, When I achieved my first degree black belt in kickboxing, I felt lost and felt like I needed to find something new and within this academy I was able to start again as a white belt in taekwondo, giving me a new experience and new skills. I recommend mythic martial arts and the coaches very highly.

My 2 children do both kick boxing and taekwondo here for over a year now. PLEASE DO NOT listen to the 2 negaative reviews! (EDITED THE HUSBAND HAS NOW DELETED HIS REVIEW INCASE ANYONE IS CONFUSED BY MY REVIEW) These 2 people are husband and wife trying to pose as 2 seperate people. They have written a FALSE review purely because they have been told and showed on CCTV numerous times about their childrens bad and bullying behaviour! They fail to see any wrong doings in the childrens voilent behaviour. They just laugh and encourage it! At Mythic Martial arts the coaches, parents and students are all a team! We support each other and go there to train and learn new skills. This family choose not to be and it seems just go there to hurt people, even in warm ups! Coach Andy and Mike are amazing at what they do and are very patient but strict. They will not tolerate bullying. They take pride in their work and bond with the students. The facility is perfect and professional. My children enjoy it very much and have learnt so much and grow in confidence! Its like another family there and everyone is welcomed. We are a team and parents and students support each other regardless of gender, race, religion ect. Best place ever! They do not hand out belts just for attending. They test your skills and grade accordingly to how each student has progressed. They test you to make sure you know each move to each name ect and can demonstrate it properly to that belt standard! So when you do eventually reach black belt its because the student has earned it and knows the sport fluently. Not just because you showed up. Its done properly and fairly! Highly recommend this establishment 😊

Mythic Martial Arts are Amazing, they look after the kids and teach them skills safely and professionally, they do not allow any child to be bullied by any other child and will be warned, there was an incident and the team delt with it fairly and correctly after numerous warnings (although the parents argued the fact every time and was always everyone else’s fault) ! After seeing the way it was handled I have no fear my children will be unsafe and they are progressing amazingly, my son and daughter are even doing better at school from the confidence they have gained ! The coaches take what they do and protecting the children very seriously. Love this place 👍

A very well run, professional and friendly academy, the coaches care about the students development and training, instilling a strong ethos of discipline and respect for others, while maintaining a fun atmosphere, and high level of training in martial arts. Very good value for money, with various packages available to suit your child, highly recommended.
