My friend recommended Sarah's Kindermusik class to me three years ago and now both of my daughters are doing Sarah's classes, one at toddler class and the other at Young person's class. Sarah's classes are very well tailored to different age groups. The classes are very well structured. Both girls and I enjoy it very much. I take a morning off each week to attend Sarah's class with my toddler as this is the only class I wanted to continue after returning to work after maternity leave.

My daughter joined Kindermusik at 3 months old and I remember during her trial class at 6 weeks old Sarah made us feel very welcome and relaxed. I liked the fact the class was very personalised and inclusive and that’s what made me sign up.
The sessions are very interactive and engaging and include a mix of singing, dancing and reading.
Online resources are provided relating to each monthly theme which are very useful along with the Kindermusik app for further learning.
In the past Sarah has organised themed parties throughout the year for her Kindermusik families which has been a great addition. Furthermore she has adapted throughout the pandemic by creating engaging posts on social media and the opportunity to get involved with a variety of virtual activities including arts and crafts, zoom quizzes, spoon playing, videos, virtual classes and a disco.
I definitely recommend Kindermusik with Sarah for any child and parent as its fun and engaging!

We started Kindermusik classes with Sarah when our little boy was 10 weeks old. We weren't sure what classes we would do, before he was born & then lockdown happened & we felt a bit stuck at home. Doing Kindermusik each week gave our weeks structure & we've enjoyed doing some of the activities with our little boy outside of the classes as well.
Sarah has been nothing short of professional and adapted brilliantly to the current situation, taking lessons on Zoom, yet making it feel like a 'normal' baby class. As well as being professional, Sarah is incredibly knowledgeable and so personable too. She welcomed us so warmly into her class and we really enjoy seeing her each week and sharing in our little boy's development.
We weren't sure what we would get out of the classes with our little boy starting at such a young age, but we have learnt so much already. It has been wonderful to see him grow his interaction each week & how he's changed since we started. We love that the classes cover such a range of different and highly engaging activities which support children's development, not just in musical understanding, but in physical and cognitive development as well. Sarah's baby classes focus on key basic skills which are vital to further development and the classes have been fundamental in some of the progress that we have seen in our little boy over such a short space of time. He wasn't the biggest fan of 'tummy time' when he was younger, but now, thanks to fun activities and great advice from Sarah, he is constantly on his tummy and enjoying it immensely.

My daughter has just graduated from kindermusik with Sarah after 3 years, starting when at pre-school. The classes have been amazing for building confidence, language and coordination skills, and of course a love of playing music. Sarah builds a strong bond with all the children and now that my daughter has completed all the classes she keeps saying how much she misses Sarah!
We're really excited now, with such a strong foundation, to continue the musical journey!

I have been taking my daughters to Kindermusik with Sarah since they were 8 weeks old and they love it. The classes are brilliant and i have really noticed over the last 6 months how the girls react to music and rhythm, its lovely to see. It's great to go to a class that has varied content each week and also access to content at home, we are always playing songs from class at home, it really calms them down. When you have twins it can be a little daunting to go to classes and some are not practical at all but Sarah has been so accomodating and helpful and will happily take one of the girls for activities. I would highly recommend Kindermusik with Sarah to parents wanting to spend quality 1:1 time with their babies, expose them to music and movement and to meet lots of other lovely families

Kindermusik is a brilliant programme and Sarah is a wonderful teacher. Both our children really enjoyed the classes and now have a foundation for a lifetime of playing and enjoying music. Thank you!

We have just completed the two-year Kindermusik programme after recommendation by a friend who loved it. I was looking for something to plug the gap between pre-school classes where my son showed a real love and aptitude for singing, and formal instrument tuition which I didn’t want to commit to so young. It did not disappoint! I can’t believe we just finished off the semester with my little 6-year-old being able to read music, understand rhythms, notations, sharps and flats and having an appreciation of music from all around the world. I am so impressed. Sarah coped extremely well in lockdown, quickly adapting to zoom classes; we were really grateful to carry something on to preserve some sort of normality in these frustrating times. We’ll miss the classes a great deal but hope to attend with our daughters in the coming years. Thanks for everything.

We're almost 5 years into our Kindermusik With Sarah journey - our eldest started at 8 weeks old and at 5 is now starting to read music, understand dynamics and tempi and play his first proper instrument. Sarah's knowledge and enthusiasm is obvious across all the age ranges, and she develops a great rapport with all her students which is a pleasure to watch. Kindermusik songs have become a regular part of our daily routine, both children have a love of singing and music and I've made some great friends along the way!

My daughter and myself started in the baby class with Sarah and have just graduated to the toddler ass now she’s walking. We both love the classes and she has gained so much confidence. The structure of the classes and different themes each term are great and you really get to know the other children and parents which I’ve not experienced at other classes.
Sarah is brilliant and my daughter loves her, so much so that she will go and sit on her lap for a cuddle whenever she can!

I went to observe Sarah's teaching as part of my piano teacher training course (for group teaching on musicianship). I was very impressed with her enthusiasm and the lesson was so well structured. From this one hour lesson, children have learnt musical terminology and concepts via different games. There were lots of happy faces in the classroom, enjoyment = engagement = learning. I highly recommend the course to any children before they commence learning any instruments. They will be truly benefited from the musicianship developed at their early years.

My son and I love going to Sarah’s kindermusik classes. She is so welcoming and makes the sessions engaging and fun for the children. It is wonderful to see my son’s confidence and smile growing as he develops new skills each week. I would thoroughly recommend Sarah’s classes.

Our son started the Kindermusik program with Sarah two years ago. Although he always enjoyed music, he had never done anything formally. Over the course of the program, he learned to play three different instruments, read 9 or 10 different notes, and played a large handful of songs. He became more confident reading music and played songs from memory. He is pretty shy and often had trouble contributing when the parents returned into the room. However that improved over time as well. Sarah is incredibly knowledgeable not only about music but how to connect with children and ignite their interest in learning music. The classes are well structured and the homework is a reasonable amount for the child to progress week to week. Our 5 year old begged to go to music, so we enrolled her in one of the younger programs, and she is already talking about joining the "big kid" program in the fall. Thanks again Sarah!

Sarah's sessions are great, we started when my son was 3 months and he's now 7 months. We both thoroughly enjoy attending; it's a chance to relax and feel at ease with your baby and be around other Mums and Dads who are going through a similar stage with their children. The sessions are structured really well and there is no pressure to take part if your child needs a feed/nappy change/just need some time out. It's the only baby class I've been impressed enough to sign up for. Would definitely recommend to others.

We have been attending Kindermusik since my little one was just a few weeks old and it’s been brilliant for both of us. Now I’m back at work it’s still very much part of our day off together.
We are currently still doing the Cuddle & Bounce class (designed from birth to confident walking) but as she’s getting closer to near toddlerhood she continues to get something different out of it. I often break into random Kindermusik songs at home now which she recognises and have proved a successful distraction technique for various things. In the really early days it really helped me come up with more ideas on how I could interact/play with her now she is loving the dancing/banging drums etc aspect.
Sarah is great - I didn’t know her before we started and would now consider her a friend. My little one recognises and adores her. It’s also always been a lovely group of friendly parents often with coffee/lunch trips bolted onto a class.
Thank you :)

I should declare that Sarah is a personal friend, but my judgement on her Kindermusik classes is not clouded by that. It comes from the hard evidence of the difference it has made to my son, who has graduated from her 'Young Child' class last week. With her gentle encouragement and support, he has thrived. The classes are so well structured and delivered with infectious enthusiasm. To see my relatively shy eldest son present himself for a concert with such confidence and poise today truly was a joy. His appreciation of musical basics (indeed, some quite advanced concepts I had no clue about at his age!) and of different musical styles, and most importantly the emotional impact and importance of music, has inspired him to learn an instrument (on top of the 3 that Kindermusik has given him a grounding in!) from next term. So much better than the traditional model of learning an instrument with no cognisance of the wider context and benefits of music. And beyond that, it has developed his life skills - particularly his confidence. Thank you, Sarah!

Wonderful class that has taught my daughter many skills (aside to music). Amazing face-to-face or online, and has kept us going through lockdown. Can't recommend highly enough :) Thanks for all your hard work and dedication Sarah

I took M to these in his first year, and my other half (S) joined us sometimes in his lunch break. When I went back to work in the mornings he was so sad to be stopping the classes that he has made arrangements to flex his hours on Friday to take M (now 19 months).
S always comes back from class full of enthusiasm, and he and M enjoy singing the songs and doing the exercises together - it's a real highlight of their week, and a great space for them to bond in. He tells me he's not the only man there, and he feels welcome at the unofficial Costa "playdate" post class.
It's important to us that music (both listening to it and making it) is just something that is part of everyday life for M, and this is a brilliant age appropriate way of introducing some of those elements.

I couldn't recommend Sarah@ Kindermusik more .She is an excellent teacher and a wonderful person. The class curriculum is also well structured to meet the needs of children at different levels to give children the basics they need to develop their music. She has managed the disruptions in lessons due to the pandemic so wonderfully well and we all have enjoyed enjoyed learning with her during a particularly difficult time.Thank you Sarah!
