Greg is an excellent teacher and I have learned more about music and the guitar in the last year or so with him than than I ever did before. Being rather a late starter I am a slow learner at the physical side of things, but Greg has endless patience and enthusiasm. Highly recommended.

Greg is such a friendly young man, and he is great with children. My 10 year old daughter feels very confident and at ease with him, and has made great progress since starting her lessons with Simply Guitar 18 months ago. Greg is very enthusiastic, patient, and has a very positive attitude to teaching which I think makes all the difference. He praises a lot, never says anything negative but only makes constructive suggestions. It seems to be a great approach judging by the results! I strongly recommend Simply Guitar for anyone who seeks to learn or improve their skills.

Greg and his crew are fantastic teachers of music. My 9 year old daughter has wanted to be a 'rock star' since she was a toddler. She has been learning to play the electric guitar over the last 2 years and has had lessons with Greg at his studio in Newbury. Greg is patient, enthusiastic and encouraging. She finds the lessons fun and inspiring, she is already working on her grade 2 and really enjoys her lessons.

Greg has been providing his expert tuition, for almost two years, to my two daughters. Both girls had only briefly played the recorder and picked up the art of playing guitar and ukulele fairly quickly, with Greg's guidance and one on one teaching. They are both now playing to a superb level and enjoy their lesson every week. Highly recommended!

Greg is an extremely competent tutor with a great degree of patience. Music theory is gently introduced to my 7-year old alongside practical guitar tuition. She is improving steadily and really enjoyed composing her own song with Greg. Lessons location are convenient (parking etc) and comfortable (temperature, W/C etc)

Both of my children have been learning with Greg for the last two years. The lessons are very flexable with some theory and some great songs to really enthuse my boys. Last year Greg started an adult group which I joined and have made more progress in the last year than in the previous 10!

Lessons at Simply Guitar with Gregory are absolutely amazing, they are constructive and he tailors them to each individual. I have learnt so much since I have been having lessons. Greg's a truly excellent (and very talented) guitar teacher, who makes lessons interesting and full of variety, pitching it at exactly the right level for this 62yr old wannabe rock star! I cannot recommend him highly enough to anyone picking up a guitar the first time, or like me, wanting to move to a higher level. His patience is inexhaustible, and for the first time ever, I'm really beginning to 'get it'! Great location and studio too, with free parking, and he'll make you a mean cup of coffee!!

Greg at Kidstrument has been teaching my son the guitar since September and his progress has been astounding. The natural, fluid style of teaching enables him to understand the technical and theoretical side of music as well as learning songs that we all know. Previous teaching experiences meant that Lennox got bored very quickly but thanks to Kidstrument the guitar is now an instrument for enjoyment rather than a chore. Thank you!

When I started my guitar lessons, I was so nervous but once I got into the flow of it all, I realised that it was simple, easy and fun and that was thanks to my awesome instructor. Now I’ve been playing for 6 weeks and I am already playing 3 different songs! In conclusion, it’s a inexpensive way to learn guitar, with or without having to buy a new guitar.
