I tried a trial hour with this training centre and they were so lovely and patient. I built my confidence very quickly and I will definitely be going back here to do my CBT when I'm ready. I really enjoyed the session and the guys here were really helpful with information about women's clothing and plus size help too. No one made it awkward, just factual and it was great.

I must say that I am positively shocked with my experience with ART. I was very anxious about the experience but I'm glad I pushed myself and that I went with ART. Even though I had my training during the busy season, the instructors do not treat you as "just another student", but as a human begin. We talked about our interests, motorcycles and life in general, which made me feel welcomed. Gareth was my instructor and not only he shared a lot of great information with us, but we also had a great blast talking. I highly recommend ART for you CBT!

I can’t recommend Assured Rider Training enough if you’re thinking of doing your CBT. I had Gareth as an instructor and he took the time to understand how I learn, he was patient, calm, told some really awful dad jokes, but they actually helped me to chill out. Gareth really helped me to have confidence and believe in myself, which is a real challenge in itself. Last year I had a really bad experience doing a CBT with a another company and it completely knocked my confidence, so much so that I very nearly didn’t get on a bike again, but I’m glad I did and I will be going back to ART when I want to do my full bike licence. The whole team are so supportive, patience, kind and really invested in making sure that you’re safe and comfortable with the bike. I can’t thank you enough for helping me to make a life long dream come true.

I have spent quite a bit of time at Assured Rider training since Summer last year (2021) I didn't do my CBT with them, but chose them for my direct access main bike training and test. From the initial rider assessment, through the 3 day direct access course which I had to abandon due to a very bad back, then planning my Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests separately due to ongoing back problems, Dave and his crew were extremely accommodating, helpful, patient and supportive. They have a deep knowledge and love of their subject, they cover the test area throughly and make sure that as a rider you are well prepared, not only for your test but also for your onward career as a motorcyclist. I couldn't recommend anyone better to do your test with, even if you are from as far away as Bournemouth or Poole.

Went in being skeptical but however as the training and talking began In the centre I understood it more and the staff and facility was all round good and patient which lessened the nervousness overall, Nigel is a great instructor to have, hes always telling you what things to approve. In conclusion I am riding on the road comfortable and was chuffed! If your coming to do your CBT do it here 👍

I had my CBT today with Nigel and I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received. He explains everything clearly and in detail, and is super helpful when analysing any mistakes to help you correct them. Just overall a great teacher and also nice guy to chat to. Having had an awful experience on my first cbt with a company called Fatboy Motorcycle Training, ART were nothing less than excellent. Both instructors were very good and lead the session in a way that makes you feel relaxed whilst remaining informative. I would recommend them to anyone but especially complete beginners.

I can't recommend ART highly enough. I completed my CBT with Simon and Jacob, and they were friendly and informative and made the day fun. I took a DAS course with ART, with no prior motorcycle knowledge whatsoever. Simon was an incredible instructor that really pushed me to improve and learn at a high standard. Absolute legends – I had zero experience of riding a motorbike and had driven cars for nearly 15 years. Switching over to riding a motorbike was always going to be a challenge but Dave, Dean, Simon and the team made it really enjoyable. You don’t just learn to pass the tests; you learn to handle a motorcycle well, safely and with confidence. The site facilities were clean, tidy and welcoming. All the machines are well maintained. Just passed my full licence with the help of the guys at ART. Really friendly and knowledgeable team and patient too! Shane was my instructor for my CBT and was great as I was a complete beginner on a geared bike. Then Lee helped me not just to pass my test but to ride properly and safely. Switch to ART after not passing a CBT with another instructor. The instructor was far clearer and worked hard to help us understand where our mistakes were coming from. It was made clear that the safety of the rider was genuinely the primary concern before passing. If you're looking for somewhere, ask yourself: How long is the day? Here is is generally 8:15 - 5pm, this was a full 1:45 more than our first location. What happens if you don't pass first time? Here a second day is half price with a free 121 session.

The guys here are excellent, I had been riding 10 years but not done my full test. They got me through on a 3 day course, passing without a single minor. The training was really good and made me think about the way I ride and the more advanced side of riding.

I completed my cbt with them about 18 months ago. All I’ve really ridden in the past were twist’n’go’s. l finally plucked the courage to go for my full, direct access course. I went for a free assessment and was informed I needed to do a four day course. It took me a while to get the funds together and they helped by allowing me to pay when I could provided I cleared the balance before I started the course. Anyway, I started the course very nervous, because I’d been looking forward to riding properly nearly my whole life. But once I’d started I was fine. We did some riding for the first two days on the 125’s then went onto the 650’s. again I was a bit nervous. After a day and a half of getting used to the bike I was ready. I passed module 1 with no minors and then on the same day I passed module 2 with one minor (didn’t indicate coming off a roundabout) So I’d like to say thank you to all who helped me achieve my goal. I will be recommending this school to anyone who asks.

I decided to book my CBT with Assured Rider Training after completing a short taster lesson with one of the instructors. Shane was my instructor for my CBT and he is an absolute credit to ART. I was quite anxious and nervous on arrival and Shane made me feel extremely welcome and comfortable. When we began the CBT Shane was very patient, supportive and reassuring. He always made sure I was comfortable with what he was asking me to do and he was happy to explain things as many times as I needed. Throughout the day Shane continued to encourage me resulting in me completing my CBT. Fantastic Team; Guys took me from having Zero confidence & experience to a full A license. After a free taster session I was confident to enough to sign up to do the CBT. As getting time off for work is a real challenge I had to wait before I could complete the CBT. One I had the CBT it was back to getting the theory which I organised myself, but the ART Ltd team were keen to helpmeet get organised if I wanted to go through them. After I got the CBT & Theory sorted I had not been on a bike for about 2months and was feeling rusty. I took the 4 days intensive course, and after 2days on the 125cc I was on the 600cc. It was a jump, but the team were brilliant. They build your confidence and continuously demonstrate areas where your going wrong and how to break bad habits and to "Put the Car Drive back in the Box" which is so hard when you've been driving for 10yrs in a metal box! By day 4 I was on a 600cc and aside from confidence being a little shaky I pass with two minors on each section - pretty good for a complete novice. The team will train you to above test standard, all you have to do is listen to what they say and repeat back to yourself what they've asked you to do. After you've done this a few times it really sinks in and the trick is to get the actions into muscle memory. In short, Thank-you guys - Now the hard part - finding a bike and trying to not to spend all my money on it and bike related equipment. Fully recommend the service.
