Reviews of Bitterne Park School, Southampton
School is decent, currently year 11. Some teachers are amazing and do everything they can to help when you ask for it! Whereas some don't care at all. The school prides itself on its 5 core values -Relationships Achievement Community Enjoyment and Respect - they say the pupils voted them in but when asked a huge amount of my year group jokingly wrote down other things. Again, there is a vast amount of bullying with the school only starting to tackle it a few years ago after a lot of pupils commited or tried to commit suicide - the school at times is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING but at times can be a complete joke.
Some teachers are nice others aren’t and this school does have vast problems with bullying like any other school in the country . As a Year 7 student this school isn’t great and they don’t do anything for what they call “fall outs” . A lot of swearing goes on and at the moment this school isn’t its best- it’s ok but I wouldn’t recommend this school if your child has been bullied or has learning difficulties. Children in learning support do get a noticeably large amount of attention and get to completely skip lessons when they feel like it but overall this school is ok.
Best school for both my girls who love performing arts! Bullying is taken seriously and any concerns I've had have been dealt with promptly. Lots of activities offered..great teachers...love the ambience!
I think that the school is amazing and at school I make new memory's and most of the time I can't wait to go to my lessons because there friendly. The most important is what we achieve at the school it's amazing I'm trying to make the most of it as possible when I'm still there. This is from Nicola Jacobs!
Great school, with highly motivated staff and students and excellent facilities. The new Sixth Form building is particularly impressive.
