Our Daughter has attended Pinecones Nursery since she was just over a year old, and she is now just over 4 years old. She has always enjoyed going to nursery, making friends and interacting with the grown ups there. The team have made a huge difference in her development for which we are very grateful, and they have given her such a strong start before she goes to school later this year. Huge thanks to the whole team who have been really great throughout, and during the pandemic. We will be very sad when our Pinecones journey comes to an end.

Our little boy has attended Pinecones for just over a year and he absolutely loves it, as do we. The staff are all so caring and wonderful, they go out of their way to make sure the children have the best time! To the point that my son is obsessed with ducks, so they set up a duck water activity outside. My little boy has eczema and an egg allergy and they are always happy to keep applying his creams and have thorough procedures in place to keep him safe, as with all children. The nursery communicate with parents so well and we love getting updates on the app to see what he’s been up to. I couldn’t recommend Pinecone’s more, it’s amazing!

Pinecones is a beautiful setting focusing on natural materials, toys and letting the children's curiosity guide the play and activities. Nursery helped our son explore food, make friends and learn about the world outside of our home and the pinecones team really go that extra mile to ensure he is happy and settled each day. Just recently they introduced baby dollies into the children's play to help our son transition into becoming a big brother! Each member of the team are absolutely lovely. Our son is just moving up from the baby room yet I know each and every staff member throughout the setting. They made a point of introducing themselves and making us feel welcome from the day we initially viewed the setting and have been informative, friendly and helpful along every step of our sons time in the setting. We are so glad we chose Pinecones over other local nurseries and would highly recommend Gemma and the team as a professional team who care for our son just as we do. They go above and beyond and you know you are leaving your child in good hands.

My daughter started at Pinecones when she was 6 months old in 2020 and the manager, Gemma, made me and my husband feel instantly at ease. The setting is beautiful with its focus on natural materials and child centred activities and play/learning invitations. Ada has always loved nursery and every single member of staff we've come into contact with had been kind and friendly. Although some restrictions are easing now, the the team have navigated lockdowns and changing restrictions with care and professionalism which has been communicated effectively to parents at every stage. Ultimately we wanted our girls to be safe, happy and stimulated at nursery and Pinecones is the perfect setting for that. They've worked with us on several things (picky eating, potty training and a new baby) and we are still just as happy two years on with the setting. In fact our second daughter starts in a few weeks. We honestly could not be more happy with the pinecones team!

My son started Pinecones nursery when he was 9 months old at the start of the Covid pandemic. Since day one the staff have all been very professional and extremely friendly. My son really looks forward to go to nursery to see all his friends, including Gemma and her fantastic team. My son has been through many milestones during his time here from walking, eating (everything!!), making friends, forming sentences and growing in confidence with both adults and peers. The range of activities on offer each day is great, helping the kids think for themselves and be creative. My son cannot stop talking about his day when he comes home. I always know he is happy, well fed, well looked after, and safe when I drop him off in the mornings. I cannot thank and praise Gemma and her team enough for helping my baby grow into confident little toddler and I look forward to my Daughter starting in the baby room in a few weeks time 😊

So happy with pinecones, the handovers are so personal you almost forget many other children attend. We are so happy with my child's keyworker Dani, she always notices progression each week that I have noticed at home and you can tell they have a special bond and she enjoys looking after him. Gemma the manager is also fantastic and I always feel the communication is great. I have had replies to messages out of hours and she keeps us up to date through a really good app. The app I feel is a really good extra as I can see what my child has been eating all day and when he has slept. It always makes me feel more content when I am at work. Thank you pinecones!!

My son has been at Pinecones since he was a year old and has absolutely loved every second he has spent there. The staff are friendly, approachable and fully invested in the development of the children both within the setting and at home. There are many ways to share and communicate information, milestones and photos and enquiries are dealt with promptly. The staff have always gone above and beyond to ensure my child's interests are at the forefront of his learning and they have a strong focus on child led activities which promote confidence, self worth and encourage team work which in turn has built up some valued friendships for my son. His confidence has sky rocketed which has now set him up ready to start school in the next few weeks. He will also miss the delicious meals that Penny prepares for the children too. Our almost 4 year old son has been attending Pinecones for 3 years. He absolutely loves it there and adores the staff who are clearly 100% committed to making every day fun for the children. The setting is beautiful and unique in that it feels so ‘homely’ and welcoming when you walk in and not a plastic toy in sight! I love the fact that they use natural and real life resources for play and this has definitely encouraged our son’s development in imaginative play. We have been so impressed with Pinecones that we have just signed our newborn son up to start there when he is 1, despite moving slightly out of area! Thank you to all the team for all you do!

I can’t rate this nursery setting highly enough. I love the ethos here and my daughter has flourished since she started attending here last year. The staff are wonderful and the relationship they have with the children is so lovely to see. The setting encourages independence yet remains nurturing - they seem to have achieved the perfect balance.

Cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. Our child has additional requirements and needs and the staff have undergone specialist training going above and beyond to enable him to attend the nursery. Kaci and Gemma especially are fantastic and have provided amazing support us and our child who has progressed in every level since attending Pinecones. I’d have another child just so they can attend Pinecones!

We couldn’t ask for a better setting for our little girl to attend. She started at pinecones when she was 8 months old and the care and devotion to the children and their development is so amazing. All of the staff at pinecones are really friendly and professional and 2.5 years later she still loves going each week. We receive daily updates about what food and snacks she’s had, pictures each week with a detailed description of what activities the children have enjoyed and newsletters to keep us informed of staff changes, dates for the diary and more! After the year everyone’s had and my little one always being by my side since she was born, I thought sending my little girl to nursery would be extremely hard and challenging for both of us. Gemma and the team are very professional, caring and fun! Our child loves going to pinecones and has learned so many good habits and social skills, as well as growing in confidence since starting there. I really appreciate how hard they are working to get our children ready for school when all their transition sessions were cancelled. Can’t put into words how wonderful pinecones is and how brilliant all thier staff are. My son started almost a year ago and the leaps and bounds he’s come over in that time is incredible, all the staff are so energetic and amazing which each and every child. Riley started off in the baby room then moved to the early years and they helped encourage him in his change, his speech has come such a long way just as. His communication and listening skills, Riley loves going to nursary and is so happy. I couldn’t recommend pinecones enough, keep.but the fantastic work xx

Our daughter has been attending Pinecones for a year and this special nursery really is like no other we’ve seen (we’ve seen a few!) We knew it was the right place for us when Elodie’s face lit up meeting manager Gemma and baby room leader Jayne and the entire team took time to welcome us. We’re so impressed at how much Elodie is flourishing at Pinecones coming on leaps and bounds with her speech, social and independence skills but most importantly she is so happy and always comes home with the biggest smile on her face! We love how Elodie is encouraged to explore her own interests and grow into her own person. Gemma is a fantastic leader and we can see how her wonderful team all go above and beyond really getting to know each child’s personality and interests and creating a friendly, caring and nurturing environment for them to thrive. Communication and support for parents is always exceptional, particularly having to adapt through the coronavirus pandemic and nothing is ever too much trouble. We love the updates when we pick Elodie up and reading through her daily diary (especially hearing about the incredible variety of food Penny has cooked for the children) and we receive regular photos and in-depth progress reports and next steps. The team are all so enthusiastic and caring and each day there is filled with thoughtful activities, smiles and laughter. It’s heartwarming Elodie is creating some lovely friendships and is really made to feel part of the Pinecones family. We can’t recommend Pinecones highly enough!

Fantastic setting and fantastic team. The team genuinely care and have helped our children develop at a fantastic rate. The team really do go the extra mile. Our children love going, sometimes it’s difficult to get a ‘goodbye’ from them at the door as they’re so keen to get in and have fun. The team really do like to think outside the box with activities and resources, it’s quite impressive, we’ve certainly seen this rub off on our children.

I cannot rate this nursery any higher! We had used another provider and therefore have seen the difference with my eldest who's now 4. They work hard with your child on a one to one basis and develop those vital skills. Both my children currently attend and I have never had any issues or concerns. Amazing!
