C. G.What a amazing experience. Want to say a huge Thank-you to Will Davies!! He really made this experience the best for my daughter who has special Needs 💗. He was so professional, relaxed, and Will catered every need to her. Praising her all the way. Today she was a true Pop star 🌟. Couldn't have happened without you Will! A magical moment for Kayleigh, and us a family.
d. b.The studio is excellently equipped, would definitely hold out for the Black Room if you can. A pleasure to record, good communication before and after and most importantly, the songs sound exactly how I want them to. Can't wait to get back there. Now travel several hours to make it back when I can.
Previously, I'd tried several recording studios over the last 10 years with satisfactory results from lowish expectations. Always quite transactory, felt a bit amateurish, sounded ok.
Ed Oberon at River drastically exceeded these experiences. A genuinely inspirational pleasure to record with, I feel so lucky to have worked with him on three different contrasting musical projects over the last 14 months. Always far above and beyond what he could reasonably have been expected to do. Edits are never too much time, so many great ideas and so much support during and after recording.
Can't wait to go back!
S. R.This evening my 10 year old daughter had a two and a half hour session in the studio as a special treat as she loves to sing. She has never done anything like it before and was excited but quite nervous. I feel terrible that I can’t remember the guy who worked with us’ name but he was absolutely fantastic! A real gentleman! He eased her nerves immediately and was so very encouraging, full of praise and knew exactly how to get the best from her. He was very professional also. Such a wonderful experience for us and the recordings he made will always be treasured. Thank you so much!

We were a bit nervous at first but Will is a consummate professional who made us feel confident and relaxed. As such we nailed 14 songs. Thank you for putting us at ease and making this a truly great experience. We will definitely be back!

B. P.We have recorded all of our tracks to date at River Studios and would highly recommend the place. Great set up. Would especially recommend Will Davies who recently engineered our most recent work, who’s input and knowledge was invaluable. He’s a top geezer too!
L. I.Hardest seats in the business. Church pews meant for prostration, bring your own chair if you have muscular skeletal issues, not bad back friendly whatsoever. For spending the tenner on 2 tickets, I'd like to have been at least a bit comfortable during my daughter's recital, it was like they didn't want us to be there very long haha. Poor sound quality considering they're a music studio too, was shocked how bad it was on the night, totally amateur. Lovely people, much work and learning to be done on putting on a show however, such as having a compere to lead the audience, and the young acts, through the show.
Also loud rude people using vacuum cleaners and talking and laughing loudly while the kids were trying to perform, with doors left open for all the sounds to disturb the show. I felt the kids were let down on the night by the shambles of an operation. The poor girls up first, what a farce that was. Sort it out River Studio.

They have a number of engineers/producers and our second engineer was jackpot for us.

The teacher can sing brilliantly herself and all of the staff met so far are friendly and helpful. Such a positive experience!

P. B.Not cheap but parking is right outside the door, the room has a good kit and A/C, and you can book rooms online.
