This is an easy 5 star review!
I’m a total beginner and not very fit. David and everyone at the academy made me feel really welcome and took the time to help me start learning the basics. They run lessons for all levels in easy to digest parts. If you want to get fitter and learn something useful along the way I’m really enjoying Invisible Jiu Jitsu and can definitely recommend it!

The beginners course is amazing! If you’re looking for a martial art, a consistent workout, and some friendly people definitely give it a go. Completed the beginners course Aug-22 and stayed as it was good fun and a valuable skill to have. The coaches are very knowledgeable, experienced, and helpful so you’re in good hands. I look forward to rolling, see you on the mats!

This has been fantastic for both my physical & mental health. David's extremely knowledgeable and does a great job breaking down sequences so even newbies like me can understand. The wider group is always keen to help and makes you feel so welcome from day one. Highly recommended joining to anyone.

Fantastic place to train. Been coming for a few months and have been made to feel welcome from the start. A friendly and professional atmosphere at all times. If you want to get fit and learn this awesome practice then this is the place to do it!

Awesome BJJ academy, I was splitting my week between Derby and London a couple of years ago, and was recommended to try out Invisible by one of the higher belts at my London group, and I'm so glad I did! I learned loads and often got a lot more in-depth and direct instruction on a lot of details.

5 stars!! Excellent place to train, massive mat area above a gym with showers! Not many BJJ gyms have showers i’ve noticed so thats a massive selling point for some people including me. The team are super welcoming and David the blackbelt is very articulate and can explain and demonstrate the movements and techniques in ways thats easy for people to understand. I have joined recently after covid and a big 2 year gap in training and I’m extremely impressed with Davids level of BJJ, he is an excellent example of a young talented blackbelt who is offering his personal BJJ game to his students to take onboard. In all its friendly learning environment with lots of laughs along the way. New guys who want to start BJJ i can honestly say come and try a free class and become addicted like me and you will not be disappointed 💪

I visited David a few months ago as watched a lot of his content online and was hoping to train there regularly. Really good bunch of lads and they all made me feel really welcome and were super safe to train with. Unfortunately it's just a bit too far (1 hour 30m ) from where I live to train regularly but if you are looking for really high quality BJJ or Luta Livre, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending David and the club.

Switched to this gym from another and the gym culture he is super positive, constructive and very safe - but at the same time incredibly effective if you do want to compete as they have several successful competitors (and national champions).
David Morcegao's instructions are so great, he has already given me several details that, although may seem small and inconsequential, have blown my mind and changed the way I view entire series of techniques (for the better).
Would wholeheartedly recommend this place for beginners or veterans alike.

Great place to train. Main coach David has impressive skill set and knowledge. Explaining every detail, giving you more than just the technique. Friendly people always helpful. Highly recommended for beginners and those who have been a while in a BJJ and grapple world. Pop in and try. Nothing to loose:)

Excellent place to train - fantastic tuition and a very thoughtful approach to guiding students. The classes are welcoming and there is a real community spirit.
