I’ve been have lessons with Simon for 3 years and was a complete novice when I began. Nonetheless, he was incredibly patient and excels in dealing with nervous students. His knowledge of a wide range of musical styles is great when choosing new pieces to learn - there really is something for everyone. I’d highly recommend him - whether you are an adult wanting to learn a new skill or have children who want to learn an instrument, Simon can adapt his approach and get the best from you.

Went to Simon about 3 years ago as a 30 odd year old complete novice. Great tutor, really patient and good at explaining everything. Lessons are really good and varied, giving me confidence and ability to play the bass guitar to tracks and write my own music. Now starting in a band whilst continuing lessons to further improve my technique. Can't recommend him highly enough

My daughter has been having weekly lessons from Simon from the comfort of our home! She’s really enjoying her zoom lessons and is making progress. She looks forward to her weekly lesson and finds Simon really explains things well, he also has the patience of a saint! Would definitely recommend.

Our 12 year old has weekly guitar lessons with Simon. Started six months ago and now feels confident tuning the guitar and playing individual notes and chords. Loves the lessons and practices with little prompting. Best thing is no technology required. Amazing support and patience of a saint. Absolutely 5 stars. Highly recommend. Simon is a patient, gifted music teacher, and the lessons are enjoyable and stress free. After watching my daughters online lessons during lockdown, it inspired me to pick up a guitar again after nearly 40 years and have lessons with Simon myself, only this time an electric one!!
