Stretton Day Nursery is a lovely nursery with a home from home environment and very experienced staff. The staff are very welcoming and really get to know your child well. My little boy has settled in very well and looks forward to going to nursery, he has made a lot of progress since joining. Home-made, nutritious meals are provided. I would certainly recommend Stretton Day Nursery to anyone looking for childcare.

We love the nursery. I have sent both my children here. My eldest went from 1 year old to school age and my youngest from 1 during the pandemic. He is still at the nursery and thriving. The staff are great and so caring. They have become so important to our family. They know our children so well and the children have a great relationship with them. The nursery had loads of outside space and lots of different zones and they play outside all the time which is perfect for keeping the children happy and entertained. The activities have an educational side. The children are always well protected in appropriate clothes and sun lotion. The boys language and social skills are really good and nursery has definitely helped with that. They have supported both boys with development activities like toilet training; dressing and eating meals. Settling in was easy, even during covid. When you see the children they are happy but calm. I absolutely recommend Stretton Day Nursery.

My son has attended Stretton Day Nursery for the last 12 months and has loved every minute of his time there! The staff are wonderful and very supportive towards the children and parents. He has learnt so much and built some brilliant relationships with the staff and will miss them very much when he starts school in September. My daughter attended Stretton day Nursey from 1-4 years of age My husband and I only have praise for them. Our little girl adored going, the staff are extremely passionate about their work and I saw this in how my daughter developed in four years. They provided her with a good foundation for school and allowed me to work without worrying. we can’t thank them enough. We were so sad leaving but my daughter now attends their after school club and you consistently has been brilliant Thank you

Both of my children attended Stretton Day Nursery from 12 months until they went to school and we still use the after school club service now. I couldn’t be happier with the service they provide! We chose Stretton day nursery based on recommendations from other parents in the village, and it’s easy to say that all of our expectations have been surpassed. All of the nursery staff are so friendly and go above and beyond, they take so much pride in what they do. This nursery truly has a family feel, and the garden facilities are phenomenal, it really is a home from home for little ones!

We highly recommend Stretton Day Nursery. An outstanding nursery with extremely experienced and caring staff. Our children have both loved it there and we have always felt extremely comfortable leaving our children in their care. I can't recommend this nursery enough! My daughter loves coming here every week. At the minute that is only one day but will be increasing this to 3 days next year. We get sent an email with what she's been up and learnt that day. Including what she's eaten and how she's done with potty training. We even get sent a photo. I get regular updates from her key worker on how she is progressing developmentally and always feel able to ask questions or ask for advice on anything. Most importantly my daughter loves going and when I drop her off I barely get a goodbye she's that keen to get in!

When looking for a nursery for our baby daughter about 5 years ago, we visited a number of day nurseries... this one really stood out to us. It really is a home from home. Most importantly the staff are very experienced, well trained and kind; I felt confident in leaving my little ones in their capable hands whilst I went to work. In contrast we noticed when looking around that many other "chain nurseries" employ mostly very young inexperienced staff / school leavers. Our children have loved going to nursery, they do lots of fun activities, crafts and playing outdoors. They've also enjoyed the home cooked meals at nursery. The team who look after our two have been most helpful with things such as potty training and when preparing our daughter to go to primary school. Both children have made some great friends at nursery over the years and they adore the nursery nurses who have cared for them.. it's been a wonderful experience for our children and peace of mind for us knowing they are safe and having fun whilst we're working. Also recommend the after school club ran by the nursery which collects children from William Shrewsbury, it operates from the priory centre in stretton.
