Alexandra is great and makes learning lots of fun for my son aged 6. My son really enjoys piano lessons with her. She is friendly and calm and very professional. She always has great ideas in teaching the techniques as well as giving structure and direction. She also brings fun to the lessons. Highly recommended! Alexandra has been a wonderful Piano teacher for my son. Just with few classes he was able to start singing and playing, he has also got a grip on finger positioning. In one of the songs he has already started using his left hand too, this was very good progress. Alexandra has lao taught him how to read the notations , difference between higher notes and lower notes, when he needs to repeat the line and when the song comes to an end. These are useful techniques to learn. Alexandra's classes are intense and the child has to pay attention.She is also encouraging and prepares children for piano exams. I would highly recommend her for Piano less

My daughter thoroughly enjoys her piano lessons. She can be quite shy and needs reassurance and Alexandra has helped her to feel more confident when playing by being encouraging and using positive constructive feedback which has helped her to learn and progress in a fun enjoyable way. Alexandra is a talented, knowledgeable and passionate teacher simply because she truly loves to teach. That alone makes her an excellent choice for anyone who is interested in learning piano specially kids. Her gentle and consistently encouraging way brings out the very best in her students. My 6 years old son wasn’t particularly interested in music but since he started his classes with Alexandra he is becoming more engaged with music which is so amazing to see :) He willingly practices his piano every single day and that gives him a great sense of satisfaction. I have been very impressed with my daughters piano progress. Alexandra is a natural teacher, a gifted empath and very creative, and they are now working on logic and maths alongside her music. Update (September 2021): Alexandra is now teaching my daughter French language too. She is really enjoying it!

Alexandra has been teaching me Russian for just over a month now. It is a challenging language but her patient and creative approach has helped me to make progress. I had tried other approaches that enabled me to repeat phrases parrot fashion with little or no understanding. Alexandra is a fantastic piano teacher and a really lovely person. My dad is 78 years old. He really loves his keyboard lessons each week as a wonderful respite from being a full time carer for my mum. A carer comes to sit with my mum. It really has helped broaden his life and is the highlight of his week. Alexandra even picks him up and drops him off for a little extra, since she realises otherwise it would be too time consuming for him to make his way there and it wouldn't be feasible. For dad the key point of the lessons was fun and respite but Alexandra is such a good teacher that she has taught him to read music and to play with both hands. This has included giving him exercises for the left hand and homework which sometimes he does an sometimes he doesn't complete. She is the perfect balance between being fun and a lovely friend to him but even with his advanced age being able to improve his playing. We really do count ourselves incredibly fortunate to have met such a wonderful teacher. I have no reservations in recommending her for teaching all ages. :)

I have been with Alex for four lessons so far (1 per week). Starting as a complete adult beginner she was welcoming and really enthused to help me learn a new skill. I am enjoying each lesson...Alex is patient and encouraging. The lessons are structured to follow a adult level with simple tunes you will recognise, learning about placement and notation you learn a little bit at a time and if there are some parts that take a little longer to learn Alex will go at your pace and you will always recap 'sticky' bits at the next lesson. A keyboard at home isn't essential to start with but it will help you practice and progress faster, the same applies with the lesson book.
