My child had problems concentrating, paying attention in her class and even sitting in one place. At that point I didn’t know whom to approach. She was too young to be enrolled in any lessons. Within few weeks of starting her school, I started receiving complaints from the class teacher that she’s distracting the other children in her class. I kept my fingers crossed when I approached Jane’s kumon centre, at Great Sankey leisure centre. We had an option to see through the window and I saw my daughter running around, hiding under the table and going to Chris for comfort cuddles. I didn’t expect hem to accept her after her first two sessions. I apologised for her behaviour. They said,”we don’t give up on kids, yes, some of them can be a bit of a challenge but we have experienced a vast range of pupils”. The journey started there, and my child was excited everytime she attended the lessons. She eventually realised that, she has to do homeworks which she was not amused about. But, after every lesson, I got to know that there was one person who had a tiresome day. My daughter had no problems understanding she wouldn’t focus and gets too playful. She had a good foundation of both her English and maths and eventually her school teachers started appreciating her as she focused better at school. Those staffs at Jane’s centre were most efficiently trained and laid the strongest foundation for her English and maths that helped boost her confidence at school. As a mum, I know the level of a possible frustration when dealing with a child like mine, but they were never snappy at me or my child. Of course, I got to see the tired student teacher after tutoring my child. She’s now a grown up and completed her English levels recently. I dedicate my appreciation and gratitude to all the staffs at Jane’s kumon centre who treats parents and the students with respect.

I highly recommend Kumon Jane is a great tutor with great communication and always keeps you updated on everything. My Kids has been attending Kumon since the last 4 years and the amount of difference I have seen in them with regard to time management, independence, positive attitude towards study and confidence is amazing. Kumon has been a very rewarding experience for my son. He has been studying at the Great Sanky Study Center for two years now. The Kumon Study programme has helped my son to learn content that is far beyond his school level. This has helped my son massively. The discipline required to complete Kumon worksheets in a set time limit helps improve focus and self study. As he has progressed through the levels, he has grown in confidence and now delights in new challenges. The staff at Great Sanky Study Center have been very supportive, and they have helped him pass the harder levels quicker than expected. Kumon instructor, Jane is so helpful and understanding and is a former high school teacher so is able to help with the really tricky stuff. I would definitely recommend doing Kumon at the Great Sanky Study Center.

Jane kerfoot and her team has built this institution with great dedication and efforts with the views of success and development of a child. The motivational,personalised attention and interest provided to the students has made our children achieve the accolades at way beyond the age appropriate. Jane kerfoot has always encouraged the kids to challenge themselves with minimal or no stress. Encouraging and appeasing the work has made our children more confident and portray the same at the school where their abilities are higher than expected. Evaluating the abilities of a child and exercising appropriate work load which has been the key motives of Jane and her team has caused less burden to the parents and the children.
