Just passed my CBT with Lamb's and honestly can't recommend them enough. I was booked in for Monday 21.2.22 but due to the weather conditions had to postpone until today. Not only did they find me the next available slot but they worked with me to insure I could retake with in my time off work. As a comple novice I was more than nervous but my instructor Stuart was Incredible and put me at ease immediately and I can't thank him enough. If your are thinking of doing anything regarding motorbikes LAMB'S is the place to go.

Fantastic experience. I did my Cbt here a few months ago, and decided to come back to do my full 'big bike' licence. Passed both my Mod 1 and Mod 2 last week, thanks to Stu's brilliant tuition. It's only a small team, but everyone I met were super friendly and helpful, and made the whole process really easy. Did my CBT on 23rd September and I genuinely cannot rate these guys high enough. Friendly and welcoming, as an absolute novice I was given as much support as required and the course was paced perfectly to make sure I was able to get through. I left feeling absolutely amazing and happy in the knowledge I'd been given more than enough training to get out on the roads myself. If you're considering riding a bike I would say two things 1) do it! 2) visit Lambs to complete your CBT!

Couldn't possibly be in better hands - very friendly and skilled instructors. Spent a week with these guys, around 4 hours a day and it never felt too intense. Had Stewart as my instructor for 5 out of 6 days and can't think of anything that could've been done better than it was. Instructions were always clear, I was never left wondering what was coming up next and all feedback was clear and easy to follow. Had Peter as an instructor for the last day, who was also great and gave a couple pointers on general riding improvements (maybe not critical for Mod 1/2 but still valuable and much appreciated for a bit of variety). Thanks again to both of you, if you read this :) General flow of the 6 day A2 course: Day 1 - Step up/intro session. 2 hours of road riding up around roads near the test centre. A really nice way to ease into the feel of a bigger bike. Day 2 - 4 hours riding roads near the test centre, practicing contents of Mod 2 with feedback on any errors (things that would be a rider fault, or an instant fail etc). Day 3 - Same as Day 2 with different routes. Day 4 - Focusing on Mod 1 contents - practicing on the actual DVSA test centre with a detailed breakdown of how it'll go, things to watch out for/easy mistakes. Day 5 - Mod 1 test day. Can be stressful leading up to things like this, so really appreciate Stewart's explanation of how the whole process would go regarding Covid measures that are still in place, and the general flow of the Mod 1 itself. Day 6 - Mod 2 test day. Had to wait about 40 minutes after arriving at the test centre down to DVSA scheduling (no complaints, you can only have so many examiners out at once I guess). Easy to get very nervous over that wait, so appreciated the general conversation in this period too. Nice to have that friendly value from small businesses, and the bike community in general. Communication on the admin side of things was also very good, with fast and clear responses at every stage. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience, and found it very enjoyable (even with the examination aspect that comes with any licensing).

Fantastic place to learn to ride! Everyone is so friendly and will make sure that you turn out to be a very safe rider for years to come. Having just completed my Mod 2 and gaining my full license, I can confirm that everyone who works for Lambs are some of the friendliest people I have ever met, let alone had the pleasure of learning from. Even after my 3/4 years away, they eased me back into riding and now I'm able to look for and ride my dream bike. The instructors are very knowledgeable and provide fantastic tuition from a CBT all the way up to gaining your full license. I went for my CBT training and took my wife along too. She was not at all interested but took the training as well. She loved it. Our instructor Andy is a great instructor and a super cool guy. I was a little aprehensive about doing my CBT, which was a mothers day gift from my husband and son! I had never ridden a bike and decided on the day to 'man up' and do the geared bike test. Amazing! Pete and his crew make you feel right at home from the minute you get there to when you pass! I've had training elsewhere where the instructors always talked down to you and made you feel like you weren't worthy of riding but lambs always treat you with respect and their passion for getting you on the road is unrivalled whether you're on a 50cc or a geared 125, they will take you under their wing and get you your license! Not to mention the feeling of community and belonging having been invited on several group rides since passing. I'll never fail to recommend them!

Highly recommend Lamb's. My partner Sam and I did CBT they were brilliant, made the day fun whilst learning. From the initial e-mail to Helen through to booking and training very professional. I had e-mailed another local school before Lamb's, it took them 3 hours to reply and then they couldn't book me in, sent a long winded e-mail that didn't make sense. I passed my test with these guys in 2013 they come highly recommended Stew and Pete make the training fun whilst learning, Helen what can I say brilliant organised my tests and training around my work shift. The tests are all booked everything is done for you, all you have to do is turn up and enjoy. Competitively priced training to suit the individual. I should have posted this ages ago. I did a DAS course with Lambs back in Aug 2017. I passed both modules first time thanks to Stewart's (hopefully I've remembered his name right) experience and training. The best place to learn. I came from another (very shady) trainer/school. After learning very little - the team at Lambs took the very little I knew and developed me into someone that can now ride confidently and safely. (I went from riding 500cc to 600cc to pass my direct access) They are fantastic, great supportive people to be around, any daft questions that I may have had (and there were a few) answered sincerely and fully. Even now I've been passed for a year and a bit, I still drop in for a chat if I'm passing by if the guys are there. Even hit them for a cheeky brew ;) Very friendly, accommodating, great people to get to know. I always recommend them if someone mentions motorbikes or wanting to learn. First of all, being from St Helens and choosing a school in Warrington wasn't a decision i took likely! id heard from word of mouth that Lambs Motorcycle Training School was a top-notch school with great instructors, and as time was of the essence i knew i had to guarentee a pass. when i first arrived at the school i was slightly surprised that the organisation was ran from a unit container around the back of the legion, however don't let this put you off as i was given the warmest welcome by the instructors and went on to do the CBT. I did the DAS (direct access scheme) which basically means a 'crash course' having never ridden a bike to a full bike lessons over 2 working weeks. (first week being lessons and mod 1 test and second week being mod 2 test) My instructors name was Stewart Brown, which i can recommend as he did just that, got me from never riding a bike before to a full bike license in such a short period of time. Stu is a great mentor and experienced rider and made me feel welcome and calm throughout the lessons and less nervous during the test. I will certainly be keeping in touch in the future. However Stu may not be available, again. All of the instructors at Lambs are fantastic and will endeavour to make your goal achievable, and although a pass at the end can't be guaranteed, i promise these guys will do everything in their power to make it happen. 10 out of 10, and have already recommended to my friends who also would like to do their A license. I have just completed my Training with This Motorcycle School. I have to be honest I did ring around and try to find a cheaper price but these guys was the cheapest I could find. As for the training I received. This was second to none. every question I asked was answered with a professional answer and always with a smile. not one bad word to say about them. I failed my theory 3 times which was all my fault. I spoke to Helen who advised that the school could lend me a training CD. With the help of the CD I pass. Ignore any negative reviews, I was actually in doing my training the day 'crompton farquar' was in and the instructors and lady in the office couldn't be more helpful in getting a solution to his problem, but the guy had such a bad attitude, kicking off with everyone.. I thoroughly enjoyed my training day with katherine, I would highly recommend anyone thinking of doing their bike training to go here. What can I say about Lambs Motorcycle Training, there open 7 days a week witch was a great help to me by not using a days holoday from work. I took my motorcycle licence in 1982 and after returning from living abroad for 20 years found that DVLA had "lost" my bike entitlement. I had no option but to take the whole licence again from CBT upwards. I chose Lambs because I heard they were good - they have been fantastic! I now have my motorbike licence again. The instructors are friendly, professional and safety conscious. They have the personal skills to teach, whether you are a teenager, or like me - a middle aged car driver with 35 years worth of bad habits! Many thanks to Stuart, Rob, Helen and Pete.

Did my CBT and DAS courses with them. Great bunch of guys with plenty of knowledge and great tuition. Felt confident going into every test and passed them all 1st time. I did the shorter DAS course, 2 days on the road and another day preparing for the MAM part of the test. I now feel very comfortable on any bike on the road now. They give you all the experience you need to feel like a competent rider. I did my CBT and had never been on a bike before but the next day I was out on my own feeling like a competent rider (only stalling a few times). I was also new to being on roads as I haven't driven a car. Now I feel completely comfortable. Also after I finished my CBT a few weeks later I emailed them as I had lost my certificate and they emailed me back straight away, sorting a new certificate for me. Just passed my CBT ready to do DAS. I was feeling a little nervous beforehand after never being on a bike before but was soon relaxed having a laugh with Andy my instructer he knows his stuff and made the day very enjoyable. Also thanks to Helen I found her to be very polite when answering any question's I had be it on the phone or over e.mails. No nonsense, honest & helpful from day one. I booked a DAS course with these guys in August 2016 having only ridden a couple of months on a 125 (completed my cbt with lambs September 2015 - was a doddle of an experience also) and I have to say how great the experience was, from day one through to module 1 test day and module 2 test day I found the instructors more than helpful, always made it clear where to improve and where necessary, showed me how it's done. The instructors were great with me, put me at total ease when I needed it most (test days) and more to the point - confidence inspiring! I passed both modules first time because of it. I honestly cannot recommend Lambs Motorcycle Training highly enough. Anyone looking to get their motorbike licence whether experienced or not should definitely go to Lambs. Thanks Lambs.

I have had a good number of cbt’s growing up and there was only one place I was going for my BIG test Lambs...wow they really can’t accommodate you more meeting all your needs every step of the way..I was never left with a feeling that I was a nuisance even when I had to change a times of my lessons (last minute) All the team are spot on from speaking to Helen on the phone to the instructor/s and the level of training I received really was second to none (fantastic) Pete’s advice to me was “Neil don’t do a DAS course matey” so I took that onboard and took a few 2 hour sessions instead didn’t take long as Pete put me through my test after 8 hours of riding...WOW Not only did he save me money but it worked a lot better because I didn’t take any holidays from work..Bonus :) Turns out Lambs are great in the community too so now I still get to see them when they do there Sunday runs out or the get togethers they as they cheer the kids up at a local school... So to get to the point (eventually) 100% recommendation from me *****
