I had the most wonderful afternoon at the stacking rings class at Workshop 925. Kirsten is a fabulous tutor and explains everything so well. Everything in the workshop is so well thought out and it’s very clean and tidy. It was a fabulous insight into the world of jewellery! I would highly recommend - I was lucky enough to be given vouchers for my birthday which I used for this class - I would also recommend a voucher as a fabulous present!

You didn't think you could make lovely, wearable silver jewellery? You can at Workshop 925. I signed up to a six-week course and had a great time. I made four pieces which I really like. The people are really helpful and supportive. I would absolutely recommend them.

Spent a fantastic morning learning how to make a 3-stack of rings for myself. The session was informal, relaxed and so fulfilling. Kirsten who took the class was patient and expert. Every person had their own equipment and tools so you felt completely independent. I would absolutely sign up for more classes, it's a great way to immerse yourself in something for a few hours. Thoroughly recommend.

I attended a day workshop and with little experience managed to learn so many new skills and create this lovely fish pendant with stone setting. I loved it so much I am now enrolled onto the term time classes. I love these classes, the students are so friendly and inspiring and supportive, it's real therapy coming here once a week. Kirsten is just the best tutor, she lets you explore your own style and take your creation where you want to go instead of having rigid plans. Along the way you will learn so many new skills, and create things you never imagined possible. The classes are set in a creative environment and the facilities are amazing. I have used so many tools I would never have tried, from rolling mills to Hydraulic presses which allow me to take my creativity to the next level. Each person has their own workbench with their own set of tools, including pendant motor. I cannot speak highly enough of these classes, they have got me through some really difficult times and given me a bit of quality me time.

I’ve attended 2 courses at Workshop925 - bezel ring making and etching workshops. Kirsten & Krista are both great in their teaching style & knowledge. I really enjoyed the facility, small focused groups & the tools! Lovely relaxed environment, definitely recommend!

Great place to go whether you have never made a piece of jewellery or want to expand your knowledge. I have attended weekend classes and I also do a weekly class. The weekend classes give you an opportunity to try something new or a bit more specialist and are excellent, the teachers are really knowledgeable, encouraging and positive. My weekly class is also fantastic, everyone is welcoming and friendly, I was a complete novice and have learnt so many new skills.
The workshop has a great vibe and is really well equipped, loads of space, excellent quality and variety of tools - plenty to go around, it is a truly joyful place to develop your silversmithing skills or copper / gold / beads / paper whatever floats your boat! If you want to learn to make jewellery or expand your expertise in a friendly and supportive environment then this is the place for you.

❤️Workshop 925 is my happy place❤️
I can’t wait to resume weekly classes after lockdown, as well as the workshops I had already got lined up. Really missing my weekly fix.
The facilities are excellent, so clean and well organised. Especially important in the current climate. Free and easy parking too.
Kirsten has willingly bent over backwards to accommodate the needs of everyone, ensuring they can safely complete their courses, or rebooked as required where Covid has been concerned. She and the other tutors are fantastic, patient, helpful and supportive. At every workshop I have attended, as well as my weekly classes, tutors and students alike have been supportive of one another. A really friendly place which I personally have benefited from enormously.
Eeek I shouldn’t make it sound too good or I won’t be able to book onto any classes, demand will be that high 🤣🤣🤣

I started with Workshop 925 over a year ago. I had never tried anything like this before but have always loved jewellery. Kirsten is so patient and by the end of my first lesson I had made a ring and I was hooked. Kirsten is an excellent tutor and helps you through every step. The classes are small so you get to work at your own pace. I have learnt so many new skills. Highly recommend Workshop 925.

Thoroughly enjoyed our morning. Great tuition in a relaxed and friendly environment. Help and advice was just at the right level while allowing us to be independent in our creations.

Workshop 925 is a brilliant place to try silversmithing for the first time. I started with a summer course and have experienced being taught by all of the tutors. I have found them all to be excellent at teaching. There are differing levels of competence and experience in each class but everyone is treated with value and encouraged to grow and develop their skills. They make a big effort to replacing tools in order to make sure the students are provided with the best of everything. I would have no hesitation in recommending Workshop 925 to anyone interested in silversmithing.
