Exceptional service from an exceptional lady. I called 10 minutes after closing and Lorraine answered. I explained that my mum's feet were swollen and she was in desperate need of some wide fitting shoes. She told me to come down and she would give us a private shopping experience. Lorraine who normally works on a Monday /Tuesday but was working overtime on a Saturday stayed for an extra hour [probably unpaid] helping my mum choose the right footwear for her swollen feet. Lorraine was kind, sympathetic and friendly to my nearly 80-year-old mother. I can't thank her highly enough – she's amazing!

Have used this cobblers for years. They have rescued my boots and brogues many times. I often leave the heels and soles too long and they can build them back up, make them look as good as new again and give them another six months life. All leather soles or rubber grips make your choice neatly stitched on. Never had any problem even when I have been late to collect. Great service and I highly recommend them. About to drop in another pair of boots the heels are worn, but I know they will come back as new.

A quaint, family run cobblers nestled just outside Bedford town centre. The staff are friendly, polite and ever so helpful. Thier wares are of the highest calibre, providing classic, timeless shoes, shoe care and good quality repairs with a level of service that is hard to find these days. They are, without reservation, the best store of thier kind for miles around. I have been a patron for many years, as has my father, and I will continue to be for many years to come!
