I have just moved to the area and used this shoe repair shop based on previous reviews and very pleased with the new heals on men’s leather walking shoes. He used very durable and reputable Dainite commando heals and am very pleased with the professionalism from this small trader. Quality at reasonable price 👍.

I’ve been here in L&R Westbourne many times and I can tell that its owners treat you like a friend from the very first time. They definitely know what they’re doing. Not even a single time I had to come back for a faulty key cutting, even when the owner told me to do so if anything went wrong. I can tell the same with the shoes they repair, excellent job. I’m rating L&R services five stars as I can find kindness, respect and dedication for the job. I was forgetting to mention that they’ve got lots of affordable gifts and first class products if you’re planning your holidays. Highly recommended!

This is an excellent place to get your shoes repaired and keys cut. The staff are really friendly and helpful. My wife was sad that her favourite Fat Face boots soles had worn away. Another shoe repairer in Westbourne said they were impossible to repair. Tony of L & R Shoe repairs were willing to try. He gave the boots a new lease of life and made my wife really happy!

A wonderful find right by Iceland and the bus stop. In the 4 months since locating here I have had shoe repairs, shoe stretching, bought new walking stick, keys cut, had name tag engraved for my dog plus bought insoles. All done very professionally by very experienced staff. (Owner and his wife).

One of my Ugg boots had a hole on the seam at the back of the ankle where the pressure from my heel had forced it to tear open from carelessly kicking off my boots (using the other foot). Having been told by Timpsons that they could not repair this, I called L&R Shoe Repairs and they said they'd probably be able to fix it but would need to have a look. I took them in and received a [very low price] quote and within 2 hours they were ready with stitching to match the chocolate colouring. They had turned out even better than expected as the cobbler anticipated a visible repair but you wouldn't even know! I'm so happy that I don't have to buy a new pair because my old ones are back to looking brand new! Thank you L&R!

Nice people, but didn’t do a great job with reheeling my shoes. Painted the heels brown. I only asked for new heels. They did remove the paint after I asked though.
