Absolutely fantastic service and top quality repair! The zip of my riding boots broke two hours before my lesson - I first took it to Timpsons who advised the repair couldn't be done in-house and boots had to be sent off, with a 2-3 week waiting time (possibly more due to COVID) and at a cost of £40. I then phoned Lee's and the lovely lady on the phone was very reassuring and asked me to bring it straight in to be looked at. They had it re-stitched within 30 minutes and only charged me £10. I could have cried 😂 10/10 would recommend, super knowledgeable, professional and well-priced. Great service all round!! No doubt I'll be back soon when the other boot inevitably gives up the ghost, this time with some thank-you chocs!

Lee's mend a shoe got me out of a very bad position. I made the mistake of going to timpsons as they were open on a bank holiday. This is about the only positive I can now say about timpsons. They charged me £65 for a new car key which did not work . I went to lees as soon as possible he immediately produced two working car keys for me for less than half the cost of timpsons. I have learned a valuable lesson and that is that Lee's mendashoe is the only place locally for this kind of work. worth the drive even if another shop is nearer, you won't be disappointed . this man knows his trade and is clearly highly skilled, I can't say the same for other " chain" shops.

Lee's Mend-a-Shoe are versatile and willing to help; I needed a small screw for my sunglasses and they took the time to search through their screws to find a suitable one. Recommended for issues that are outside the box!

Top Quality place this, there doesn't seem to be much Lee doesn't do. Brought him a car key to mend, and he fixed it for me in 15 minutes when the car manufacturer quoted me 7 times that amount!! I also get my dog collar thing engraved here and again he does a great job.

The part of my denim jacket's zip that pulls it up had perished so I couldn't zip jacket up. Lee at once had the best idea about how to fix it without the whole zip having to be replaced. So he's saved me having to replace jacket, and all done in no time. In the past, Lee has done dog tags, and put ferrules on my Mum's walking stick as well as sawing a bit off so it was the proper height for Mum. He added years of life to my elderly Merrell boots when others said repair couldn't be done. I agree with an earlier reviewer that Lee can do umpteen things! Always fair prices too. Lee provides so many useful services, a real asset to Thornbury!
