Visited the Heel bar fortnight before Christmas in a desperate need to have the heel repaired on my evening ankle boot after noticing the bottom /base was missing, it was all last minute as needed then for following evening. The repair guy was really friendly & kind & he did repair there and then, at a very reasonable charge, which saved me the expense of a new purchase. After using this shoe repair shop for many years I cant recommend enough especially with the helpful friendly repairer at the helm 10/10

Really helpful staff who actually know something about the business they're in! The shoes available are more premium brands so don't expect them to be cheap, but they are certainly not overpriced. Pleased to be able to shop locally

Even it’s a small shop I find what I want and even better! I’ve got a good discount 15% which was a good thing as Dr. Martens shoes are not very cheap. Very good quality and I hope that my husband and daughter are both enjoying their lovely boots. Very nice options for women and good quality too.

Matt who works at the shoe / bag repair department did an absolutely fantastic job at fixing my handbag. I was also in a rush as I needed it fixed for an event the day after, and he was incredibly accommodating He sorted the bag out in under an hour for me. It looks brand new. Thanks so much! I would recommend anyone who has a favourite pair of boots or shoes that need to be repaired to go to AG Meek. I happened to pass there one day and spoke to the cobbler who was there, he gave me some reassuring advice that my 7 year old Timberland boots could be re-soled, he had not even seen them, and convinced me that they could be done, it was late in the day and he told me to bring them in the following day. i got to the shop at 10-30 am and i spoke to one of the female staff, who was really helpful. I waited for the cobbler to arrive, then we spoke about the possibilities of the repair, he told me that he could do the work no problem. Within 4 hrs of me leaving the shop i was telephoned to say that the boots were finished, when i arrived i was amazed at the quality of workmanship had gone into the repair of my new soles, also when he told me how reasonable the price was. i would definitely rate this shop if you cherish your footwear. The Albany rd branch, one word "excellence" super in house cobbler. One of the best In Cardiff! Been a customer for well over ,50 yrs! Remember the slogan " The matchings unique at A.G.MEEK !!!!

I bring all my shoes/boots/wedges here for repair and every time I receive excellent customer service and my shoe repairs stand the test of time. Highly recommend.

Smallish shop but has an excellent range of good quality shoes for both men and women. Very helpful staff overheard arranging next day collection for shoes of size not in stock. Located in trendy area but parking a nightmare!

I visited the store today to speak to the shoe repair guy his name was Matt to ask if he could help me as I have just had a hip replacement and I also have a leg length difference so needed help with something for my shoe.He made me a heel raiser for my shoe and took his time making sure it fitted correctly ,I'm so pleased with the result and it helps me now walk around without causing pain,Thank you Matt😊

This shoe distributor is highly valued as they carry on large number of shoes in a decent range of sizes in stock at almost all times. Both of the staff members I met were friendly and try to help me out as best they can which was very much appreciated. Selection of Doc Martin shoes that was carried when I went in was impressive however some of them could not be found in the appropriate size which is always a shame the biggest shame about it was that these things were not labelled out clearly and there was no easy way to determine what sizes they currently have in stock on their system overall such things could definitely be improved for the efficiency of the customer and the staff.
