Has everything you need for your fish or pond even if your thinking of starting one. No cheap low quality stuff. Our last pond pump lasted 10 years, and it was run constantly. Neighbours have said they love thw sound of thw running water to sleep with.

The staff here are highly knowledgeable, not simply wanting to palm one off with highest prices in equipment or fish etc, they want to know the customer is completely happy and confident before selling. Highly experienced team on all aspects. The shops stock range is simply superb, massive, full of choices. A great easy to navigate layout. Marine life well cared for, clean tanks.

If you want it it is there. Tropical or marine or koi. Water treatments koi food coral lights pumps filters koi. Thay have it all. Just top end of pricing and the koi pricing is just way over anywhere else. The koi are good quality but not exceptional and they need to be for the price. I dont know about pricing for the tropical or marine as I dont keep them. But if you want anything in a hurry it's there. If I can wait a day or so I buy online and save a quid or 2. Maybe it's just me. The knowledge and advice is excellent other than the prices it's a great place

They never try to sell you "stuff" that you don't need and will always advise on the best fish. Amazing selection of fish and equitment at good prices. I do have one issue though and that is that the staff seems to consist entirely of grumpy old men who don't have time for new comers to the hobby. They aren't nasty or rude, but you can tell they dont want to talk to you.

Friendly shop worker which can offer advice for your fish. Tons of different breeds of fish; tropical, cold water and pond. There's deals on the fish here, which is great! The shop itself is spacious, so you won't bump into anyone. There's a burial garden outside if you fancy walking through it, with tons of lavender planted. Would recommend going here for your fish, than Pets at Home! (I'm reviewing this from boredom while at a recycling centre, btw).

The staff I have dealt with have all been friendly, I have witnessed other customers get frustrated waiting at the till a couple of times but hey sometimes you are needed elsewhere. Stock of plants has been poor for a while (supply issue maybe) The tropical fish selection is mainly your standard stuff and at the minute a lot of empty tanks (supply issues maybe) Dry goods are mostly well stocked but some areas of the shelving are a bit bare. The marine section has a nice selection, and plenty of corals, there is a fair bit of aiptasia in the tanks right now though. All in all its a nice shop and my daughter loves a visit, but It could do with being better stocked but as mentioned that could be covid and or brexit related supply issues. (some JBL stuff is hard to get hold of right now)

Absolutely the most helpful people we have met so far in the marine keeping world, I apologise for not remembering the names but the young Lass and young lad who helped and advised myself and my fiancée today were outstanding and made us feel so welcome to and there knowledge was greatly appreciated. We have started a new marine tank and my fiancée even supprised me with a new fish and the young lad helped with this as she told him it was a suprise. We've obviously gave 5 star rating but if I could I'd give way more than 5 stars, fantastic shop how it's set out lots of things to have a look at, fish kept really well and as said before staff go above and beyond to help. Can't thank you enough guys merry Christmas and we will see you all next week.

Brilliant aquatic centre. One of the largest I've been to and ALL fish looked perfectly healthy. Staff are friendly, helpful and go out of their way for your liquid pet needs. Top notch, will definitely be going more often (and I live 15 miles away!)

Excellent shop we use them all the time..... and they never make you spend out on more than u need and their advice is free and always the best for your fish...... we went to get about £50 worth of cleaning stuff for our pond as it had blanket wed so got to the counter the lovely man asked us the problem we told him he pushed all the stuff we got to one side gave us a tub of white powder for £9.99 and hay presto a clean fish pond ..... we live in denaby but always travel to these guys they are brilliant ..... you wont go anywhere else once u try these ...... guaranteed

Great sizeable shop, plenty actually in stock, and good connections with suppliers for things that aren't. Top quality advice, run by hobbyists so advice is of high quality and not just sales talk from sales people. A big mix of tropical, marine and pond (koi too). Quality livestock too. Well worth a visit if you're in the area :) Edit - Would question the 'rude' comment, the shop tends to be busy by good reputation, unfortunate to rate them down if the shop was busy on a weekend perhaps.

I've now made this shop my local base for all my aquatic needs. The customer service is always great, advice is always forthcoming, just remember this isn't like a lot of stores where the sales staff are on you like a hawk as soon as you walk through the door. If you need advice go and ask, all the staff I've approached have been very knowledgable and have always been willing to give advice and help. There's a great range of fish, plants and equipment and it's well worth taking your time to look around. The marine section is great as is the freshwater tropical and cold water. Some of the equipment may seem expensive, however I'm a great believer in you get what you pay for and when it comes to fish keeping, you really shouldn't cut corners. The staff will always give you the best option for your budget and I've also noticed they offer the more expensive items on finance. All in all a great shop, they don't pressure you to buy and your made to feel welcome.

Fantastic place for fish, the staff help you to get the right fish for your tank and the other fish already in you tank. Helpful tips on how to look after them, plus they do a water test if you take a sample of you tank water, so you and they know the water is safe for the fish they supply.

Good overall selection of aqariums, decorations and fish including a wide range of saltwater and freshwater, they have everything from filtration for ponds and aqariums to aquascaping soils and substrates, one of the best selection and nicest coloured guppies I have seen. Also have a few tissue culture tropica pots on the counter just your standard reineckii mini java moss etc as far as live plants in there aqarium a lot of the staples amazon sword some rotala java ferns moss balls etc, overall good store however last few times I have been in the fish stock has been a little lacking.the store mainly stocks dry good.
