Superbly professional and a genuinely nice chap to boot. I placed an order to get some parade shoes healed, and the work was perfect. The job was turned around in less than 24 hours, which really helped me out too. The finish was spot on, and I will recommend him to colleagues for further work.

I've had the soles and heels replaced on 3 pairs of boots so far and they also needed additional work such as building up the heel and re gluing the material around the heel. The work has been really high quality and service always quick turn around. My boots look like new again.

What a fantastic guy! Stitched a dodgy deck shoe and fixed a shoe eyelet for me in a matter of minutes. Excellent workmanship, with a smile and at a very reasonable price.

Super fast, friendly service, great price. I've never had shoes repaired before so I didn't really know what to expect, I guess I thought it would cost a lot and would take a few weeks, but my shoes were sorted in a couple of days and cost less that £20.

We had an issue where we snapped our key to a cash draw in half. The gentleman working was able to look at the broken key find a correct match and cut a new one from the broken pieces within 5 minutes. So quick and such a friendly guy, if we ever have any issues in future know exactly where we will be going. Life saver

Fantastic service, quality of work, and level of care shown. Timpsons etc. may do run-of-the-mill repairs, but the Newland Cobbler is the leatherwear equivalent of having a suit tailor-made or repaired rather than buying 'new off the peg' - and is very fairly and reasonably priced too. Two pairs of WW2-era low boots now fully repaired, and hobnails reapplied. Let's see Timpsons try that...! Great work, really pleased, will definitely be back the next time.

Highly recommend. I took some of my designer shoes in to be re-heeled, and the workmanship was incredible, and so cosy effective. If you’re looking for a place to go, I would definitely recommend this place.

Had a pair of new DM blaire sandals which were too narrow. Tried a different well known cobbler at first and apart from a failed stretch, they weren't interested. Last resort was the Newland cobbler before selling them, who put in elastic on each strap and they fit like a glove. He knows exactly what he is doing. Will definitely bring my needed shoe repairs here from now on.

Fantastic value. Went to Timpsons and asked how much it would be to have a key cut and they were going to charge £12 per key, Newland cobblers only charged £5 per key. So basically, Timpsons are a load of old cobblers!😊

This chap repaired some shoes for me some weeks ago, and re-stuck the soles on my walking boots recently. I bought the boots for £61 in 1988! He brought them back to life and to say I'm delighted doesn't say it all. A pleasant chap, and his work is excellent. I thoroughly reccomend him.

Went here after having problems elsewhere where I had keys cut multiple times that after 3 visits still wouldn't seem to work properly. The keys from the newland cobbler worked perfectly first time, for a fraction of the price. Wish I'd gone here to start with and saved the hassle. Thanks again

Quick and efficient service and reasonable prices. Took a set of keys to be cut, both keys were done in under less than a minute if that. I took blanks that I had bought elsewhere not realising that the newland cobbler sold their own Disney blanks. Ended up going back and getting an additional set cut using Disney blanks from the newland cobblers. Both cut key sets work perfectly, no issues at all. Would recommend and would happily use again.

Just picked up my jacket from the Newland Cobbler, Lincoln. He showed me the patch he'd put on. I said "Did you replace the whole panel?" He said "No". I then had to really scrutinise to see where the patch was that he'd put on the left arm. I was simply unable to see it clearly as he'd blended it with the rest of the sheepskin. Brilliant work! The Newland Cobbler did an equally good job on a boot of mine recently. His repairs are strong, sturdy, lasting and, aesthetically speaking, literally invisible unless you really put effort in to seeing. He seems to really know his stuff: goes to shows and stocks -up-to-date products as well. Be it boot, jacket or shoe, don't throw it away - go to the Newland Cobbler. Ben

First Class Repair on a Plastic Shoulder bag. I took my Granddaughters large shoulder bag which she uses as her School Bag into cobblers, to ask if they can repair a broken strap. My granddaughters carries all her School books inside so it is heavy for the straps to hold . The owner suggested instead of Stitching the strap back on to use rivetts to 're attach the strap back, and also rivett the rest of the straps. He has done an Amazing First Class job and we are all very happy. I am very impressed such a wonderful service and it saved me money having to buy another bag. My Granddaughter is delighted with it. So if any one needs a Repair wether it's a bag or anything else please go in and ask. I highly recommend this shop and such a lovely gentleman . Thank you.

I have been using the Newland Cobbler for upwards of 20 years now. There is nobody else in Lincoln I would trust with my footwear repairs except the Newland Cobbler. Yesterday, I collected my bench lasted English made longwing brogues that I have had the leather soles protedted with a rubber sole on top. I am really picky in anything and everything in life but I have to say that the workmanship is fantastic. This guy is time served and has spent decates repairing shoes. More importantly he likes the job and what he does. Yes, sometimes you see these little booths that pop up in the supermarket that are staffed by people with tbe most minimal training, but I want a proper job doing with top quality materials and at good price too. Plus, I support local business and it's the same guy every time I visit. And thats why I use tbe Newland Cobbler...

Twice I went to Thompson’s to get my keys cut and both times the replica keys didn’t work. So I tried here instead, the man promptly diagnosed the problem and said that the original key was sleightly bent. He then made some replica keys that worked just fine. I would highly recommend this place and there also cheaper then Thompson’s too.

My boots really needed re doing and they were expensive so no point throwing them away! With a choice of grips re did my boots for £30! bargain! will use again!
