I went into Kevin’s shop as I needed a belt shortened and Kevin was one of the most polite, friendly and helpful people - I cannot recommend Alex Shoe repairs enough. He fixed my belt in less than a few minutes there and then! I’ll definitely be going back there for any repairs I have. An independent, professional and wonderful business to support!

I would not even think of going anywhere else. Kevin will give you the best repair possible for your shoes, bags etc. Not only that, but he is happy to share valuable insights into how shoes are made, stitched, what might go wrong and even a history of some shoemakers manufacturing methods.

After shopping around, I came across Alex's Shoe Repair, I honestly can't recommend enough, not only did they do a great job in restoring an old pair of Loake's for me at a very reasonable price. I accidently miss read their closing time on Thursday and even though Kevin had already closed and left the shop, he travel back to return my shoes as I had a wedding the following day that I need them for. Kevin is an asset to the business and a very polite and friendly guy, so much so that his attitude and workmanships has enticed me to take a further two pairs of shoes, to have them repaired and restored. Thanks again for coming for me Kevin, you saved the day!
