Took my shoe in, which had ripped off the stitch and slightly into the leather. They repaired it and polished it, until you couldn't even tell there was any damage. Absolutely amazing work & craftsmanship. They offer a variety of services, the shop is well looked after, stocked with many useful items for sale, good customer service and overall a brilliant experience from this customer. Would definitely be returning and recommending to others.

Miracle workers. Took what were originally expensive shoes that I'd ruined and they completely renovated them. They look brand new, straightened out, new soles new laces and ironed out scuffs in leather. And very friendly service. Thanks guys!

Took a pair of leather walking boots in with busted heels. Boots were reheeled, oil treated and polished within 3 days for £20. No complaints here.

Had some very old and weathered leather platforms from the 70’s that I’d had in my wardrobe for years just waiting to be fixed....I wish I’d gone to these guys sooner - they did an amazing job! I was worried that they might have been beyond repair but the boots have been serviced to a really high standard, they look incredible and actually support my feet now! Staff were friendly and clearly explained what needed to be done to set them right. I will be using Callis’ again when the time calls. Thanks!

I took my partner's shoes to be reheeled last week, the chap who worked there said they needed a new sole too, and said he'd stick the leather together where it was coming away at the sides. Twice I have had challenging situations: once where I had a frozen lock over the weekend & once where my front door was smashed in in a burglary. I phoned around desperately to sort the damage & fix the locks, doors etc & twice the boys at Callis have rescued me & gone beyond the call to fix everything. Once they take your job on they will give it all they have whether it means coming out at strange hours or whatever. They are just excellent & I can't recommend them highly enough. Their cost is reasonable too. You're in good hands with these guys & I keep their details in my phone to contact when I have troubles with doors/locks.

To be honest this is the first time I've ever had my shoes repaired so I have nothing to compare it to. But these were expensive well worn shoes that really needed a 40 thousand mile service. The guys went above and beyond, and I'm really pleased with the end result, although it cost a bit it was still cheaper than buying again from new.

TOP COBBLER I can't say enough good things about the team at Callis Shoe repair in Crouch End. They've shined and repaired shoes for me, copied keys, and even done minor watch repairs (batteries, bands, etc.). When other places tell me the situation is hopeless (shoes too damaged, key too mangled, etc.), the guys at Callis's are always willing to give it a go,......... And for the record, there's never been anything they haven't been able to fix for me. To top it all off, their prices are very competitive than the competition! I strongly recommend this place. I live very near to Callis and next door to one of the previous reviewers who was unhappy about the locksmith costs. I have always received excellent service from Callis both personally and for the communal facilities on our terrace. Callis are always upfront about the callout charge and of course the majority of tradespeople have a higher callout charge that helps cover their standing costs as well as time spent on the job. In any case one should always ask how much before asking anyone to do any job! In this case they clearly were not asked in advance and as they have done several jobs here they may have assumed the caller knew the cost. But in any event they offered to reduce the cost by half which they did not need to do. They have always been helpful, prompt and generous in my experience and I would strongly recommend them.

These guys are simply the best. Two brothers amongst others 🕺🏼🫂 An established key cutters and shoe repairer under one roof. Took in favourite pair of shoes the manufacturers said were done for as the sole split and let in water 🩹🪄. Callis gave them a new lease of life and even put some sealant on another pair while I was there. They are the epitome of what a friendly shop owner should be. You get great customer service, honest advice, genuine conversation, a decent price..I hope they stay here for years
