I was so depressed when my Valentino heels got damages. But James shoe care repaired the damage as if it didn’t happen for a very cheap price. The service was great and very friendly. I highly recommend this place. Thank you James shoe care!

I took a pair of suede chelsea boots to Van at London Bridge to resole and clean. They were very damaged and dirty, and he did advise it would not be an easy job. Two days later they were done and they looked and felt pretty close to a new pair. I was delighted. I highly recommend.

I have just got to callout John at the London Bridge location. I brought in a few pairs of shoes to repair, one of them being my first pair of Italian leather high heels which I bought with my first hard owned money when I was 18. I absolutely adores the shoes ever since. 25 years later I still am so in love with the shoes and they have such an emotional value to me and I just cannot get rid of them away but they definitely have now had their wear and tear and needed mending. While my husband wants me to throw them away, I just can’t let go of them. I brought them in to fix them on all sides and John assured me he’ll take good care. When I picked them up I was unbelievably happy how beautifully he had amended them, even polished them up and made them look practically new. He remembered the brand as he’s been a cobbler for over 30 years.... Quality stays quality not only with leather shoes but also with an experienced and nice cobbler. Thank you John!!!!

The leather strap on my briefcase snapped. I popped into James Shoe Care and the assistant Van could not have been more helpful. He did a fantastic job expertly and skillfully repairing my bag on the spot using the old but effective Singer sewing machine. I would have no hesitation recommending James and particularly Van, he is most definitely the man!

A fantastic shop!! This summer Van brought my favourite Chelsea boots back to life after a long winter of wear. I also had two keys which had been problematic for a long time, Van was certain he could help if I allowed him to make new ones. They now work smoother than the originals!! I highly recommend this store!

The manager at London bridge is absolutely the best - excellent standard of repairs, experienced which shows, and his service is exemplary - he really cares about his customers. When he does the work, you are sure of a good job, but when he isn't there the standard has not been of the same level.

Definitely not the cheapest at over £15 for a light coat. Think they take advantage of the captive commuter market at the station. Cheaper alternatives can probably be found in surrounding streets. They also insist on taking an email address, so they can email you when your garment's ready, which seems totally unnecessary, as they also take a phone number and give you a paper ticket stub to present on collection with the date it will be ready on it. There didn't seem to be any options for different speed services either. I dropped my coat off before 9am on Monday and was told it would be ready by 5pm on Wednesday. I actually received the email on Tuesday afternoon but wouldn't have expected a 2 day wait for the price. Won't be going back unless I'm desperate!
