I really like Jeffrey West and the shoes are rather fab and I have bought 6 pairs , however I don't like some of the leather finishes that they use to achieve some of the colours of their shoes , a good example of this would be the Honey Coloured Moon shoe where the leather is not through dyed meaning the colour sits on top of the leather. Someone clipped my toecap with their suitcase on a busy street and scuffed the toe cap , I took the shoe to show several leather smiths and unfortunately the shoe cannot be repaired a fact confirmed by Jeffrey West Piccadilly who felt suddenly more like a shoe retailer rather than a Northampton shoemaker …… I cancelled my 2 reserved shoes as they had the same dye which on a good side saved me £600 ….. I have now sent my shoes off to a cobbler and he will re finish the shoe but in black … a real shame as I already have 3 in black . Otherwise good shoes !

Great shoe design that lies somewhere between 'New Dandyism' and 'Smart Rebellion'. I've been buying a lot of things that men need in terms of ankle boots, lace-ups and slip-ons here for years. At least 20 pairs already adorn my shoe cabinet - so there's no room for error. The shop in the passage is also small, but somehow you always meet interesting characters there. Don't miss it out!

Turned up one time (by luck on their birthday) where despite the tiny size of the store, they had a barman who served me an Old Fashioned on the house while I tried on the shoes, then one of their artists engraved the ones I bought. Excellent shop and great service.
