Cruelty free, vegan, fair trade lovely shoe store close to Kentish Town and Tufnell Park. The staff were super helpful, answered all my questions and doubts and gave all the necessary advice. Brilliant service! Will definitely come back for my next purchase.

Consistently the best customer service I have in London. The advice I got was extremely well informed. Usually if you ask about the conditions of the factory workers in supposedly 'ethical' shops they not only have nothing to tell you (which I can understand because it's often very hard to find information) but they make you feel like a very difficult customer and either palm you off with some rubbish or just make you feel unwanted (which I can also understand having worked in a fair few shops). But here they were really knowledgeable. They were also very honest and helpful about the wear and tear of the shoes, and gave good advice of how to keep them. Something I have not really found anywhere else. The lady I spoke to was also very friendly and chatty in a way that was not at all irritating (I am quite a grumpy customer) I even got chatting to them about the ethical issues surrounding the clothes they sell and I found them to be well informed, diplomatic and not at all preachy. 100% recommend this place, I usually buy off the internet, but this is one place I will go out of my way to buy things from because they are really friendly and I want to support them.

This is a gem and I'm lucky enough to be local; not just a shoe shop either. The Third Estate stocks a range of ethical clothing, bags and shoes, as well as independent items such as cards, candels and jewelry. Staff are bloody lovely and I really enjoy my visits and oh the clothes! Take a visit

I walked my way down form Highgate cemetery to the The Third Estate, and the stroll was really worth its while: I found (and bought) two pair of beautiful shoes. The staff was extremely friendly and supportive, gave me advice, and offered the possibility of returning the items (via mail) in case of inconvenience. Will return for sure!
