Fantastic service. Had my rucksack fixed when I didn't think it was possible, due to heavy use over many years. Good as new, faster than expected, and at a very competitive price. Top job.

One of the few proper cobblers left. professional and will give you his honest opinion if an items worth repairing. Repairs all footware including emergency services, walking and military. Would definitely avoid the bigger chains and head to see these.

Took my boots in to get a new zip. They did a superb repair. Couldn't even see where the damage had been. I'm over the moon to have my boots back as good as new. Awesome service. Highly recommended!

Exceeded expectations with a new heel and sole on my boots. As good as new, in fact the new heel and sole are probably better quality than the originals. Quick, friendly and reasonably priced too.

I've used Green Market (briefly Timpsons before closure), Dickinsons, Clayton Street, Shoe Doctor Gosforth and Asnew Benwell cobblers. To be honest, every one of them has done a great job on various Loakes of mine (sometimes an outstanding job). What I feel let's some places down isn't quality of workmanship but quality of materials and then of course....the dollars. The biggest culprit of the lot was the big aforementioned household named store. Top job, dire quality materials and steep to boot. Hit any of the others above and you should fare very well indeed with a top price, swift turnaround and pleasant service. Dickinson are right on my doorstep and ticks the boxes.

Nice bloke and cut a few keys within around a minute while I waited. Much cheaper than the automated machines in supermarkets. Parking on the street outside so it’s quick to pop in. Highly recommended 👍🏼

There's a high street chain cobbler nearby. I make the effort to go to these guys instead. Better service. Better choice. Just better.

I snapped the heel of my work shoe and they got it back on and ready to wear again within the hour. Good price and service! Will be using again!

I had a very positive experience with Dickinson Shoe Services this past Tuesday when I asked them to cut some keys for me. The keys are from overseas, and the usual companies that I use were not able to do this, except for one which charged me three times what Dickinsons charged me. I will certainly used Dickinsons for future key cutting!
