Expensive boots but yes they are worth the money. Take a bit of breaking in but so do all new boots and shoes. To be honest I would have thought that you would have been given something to protect the boots for free when you buy them considering the price but you don't get anything free like polish etc. Never mind.

Excellent brand of fashion footwear right in the heart of Newcastle city centre. Large selection with plenty of space to try on shoes and boots with ease. Plenty of accessories and other merchandise if you not looking for footwear also. Various products and designs to suit all tastes and budgets. Close to Eldon Square bus station and ten minute walk from Newcastle Central train station.

I needed to return sandals but due to extreme ill health I was over the 30 days. However after a phone call the assistant said it would be fine. On visiting the Newcastle branch the staff were most helpful finding me the best sandals as my feet have suffered during chemotherapy. Well done to the manager and all the staff in this particular store. A definite 5* shopping experience.

The wife and I have always looked at Dr Martens and finally we went in to buy a pair. The staff member was brilliant. She was knowledgeable of all aspects of the products and able to advise from her own perspective having owned many of the shoes/boots. She made the whole experience a memorable one. The wife and I left happy owners of some new boots.

DOCTOR MARTIN SHOE SHOPS ARE VERY ELITE. IN MY AREA THERE IS A SHOP IN THE GRAINGER MARKET NEWCASTLE. THERE IS ALSO A SHOP IN SADDLER STREET DURHAM. THE SHOES ARE VERY EXPENSIVE, BUT GREAT TO WEAR. IF YOU LIKE TRENDY SHOES, VISIT THESE SHOPS, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

Popped in here last Thursday. Megan the shop assistant who looked after us was lovely and very knowledgeable. I wear a size 5 boot in the 1460W but I'm usually a 4 in the unisex boot or shoes. They didn't have a 4 in the sandals I wanted but Megan recommended a similar style to try on for fit so I can order the right size online. My daughters friend was with us and was unsure about what size would fit her. Megan was happy to let her try unisex 1460 and the 1460W explaining the differences in fit and leathers. Although we didn't end up buying anything. Megan wrote down the styles and sizes for her if she wanted to invest in future. Great service 👏
