I visited this shop as I was visiting Oxford Uni for research work. I talked to the owner for a long time, I believe his name was Nadeem if I am remembering correctly, and he is fantastic. He is knowledgeable and passionate about fashion and leather goods in particular. We connected over my handmade purse and we talked for over an hour about life and fashion and love and jobs and kids, it was a highlight of my trip. Additionally, I am a curvy woman and I have never been so accommodated in a shop before, Nadeem took time to pull several jackets he thought would suit me and I was shocked when they actually fit me and looked GOOD. He is very talented, and I will always cherish my snakeskin print jacket I got in Oxford to remember my first international trip. I hope to visit again someday, and I hope he remembers me! He says he never forgets a jacket, and one day I will see if that is true!

Amazing store, sells much more than just shoes. Ned is a great guy and knew exactly what would fit me and look good too. I've only lived in Oxford a couple of months but Fit Rite has been the first store I've been in that felt like it captured the Oxford spirit. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone interested in leather clothing of all kinds. We walked past this shop on Saturday night when it was closed but we went out of our way to go back there on the Sunday as we'd seen lots of lovely shoes in the window. So glad we did, as I agree with the other reviews ... The owner is very knowledgeable about shoes/feet... Even had a great choice for my hubby who is a size 12, I also bought a lovely hat there. We will make the trip back to Oxford again as I the quality and price is brilliant. Thanks

The best service I've ever experienced. I was on a mission to find a hat as a part of a corporate event. I visited around 10 different stores but nobody had it and finally I found what I was looking for here. The owner was very helpful.

Can honestly say this is the best shoe shop I've been to. The owner was attentative, and very friendly, and he helped me to choose a pair of shoes that best suited what I was looking (including alternatives) and took into consideration what I'd be using them for and styles of clothing that I'd like to wear it with. He offered some great advice about the shoes, looking after them and how I can get the most out of them. I even discovered that actually I can wear size 7s if I allow for them to mould my feet. Im so glad I went in. I love my shoes. And they were at an incredibly fair price too!!! Will be back for more when I need a new pair or something different. Amazing place. I'd never really noticed it before, but wandered in to see what they had and ended up walking out with a fantastic jacket. The owner instantly worked out my style and picked out basically exactly what I was looking for within moments. Yes it's a bit expensive, but well worth it.
