Outstanding service, I messaged Gary on Facebook after being told by two other cobblers my fracap boots with a white vibram sole couldn’t be repaired. Gary did a cracking job within the week and even gave me a choice of places I could drop off and pick up the boots, will be using him for all my boot and shoe repairs from now on.

When my favourite boots needed new soles I took them to at least four different show repair shops in Chorley and Leyland who all said they were unrepairable. I had seen this shop when I had been in Preston and I thought I would give it a try, by now expecting to be disappointed. The owner said it would be no problem to fix my boots even though the others had said it could not be done. He fitted a nice new sole to them within a couple of days and they looked like new again. I was extremely pleased with the result and will definitely be using this shop in the future.

Gary is a true shoe professional. He's also a great guy - extremely helpful and knowledgeable. His work is high quality. I've recently had three pairs of shoes repaired and I don't really know of any other shoe man in Preston who could match Gary's work. I may be doing someone a disservice here but Gary's so good I'm not going to look elsewhere!

A brilliant cobbler! This guy knows his stuff and is the only person I’d trust with my shoes. I was a little apprehensive handing over several hundred pounds worth of Alfred Sargent and Loake boots, but his work is exceptional. Don’t send them back to Northampton for stupid money, take them to Cole’s - you will be very impressed.
